Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1082: He loves them Equally

[Authorʼs Note: Sorry, this chapter has kind of gotten long.]

After having a passionate and deeply erotic massage, Aether and Delphine were now lying on the ground, their bodies sprawled together in post-climax daze. There was no bed in the room—only a massage table—and even that was now soaked and glistening, drenched in nothing but their mingled love juices.

The soft candlelight flickered gently, casting warm amber glows over their sweat-slicked, glistening skin. Their oily bodies, tangled together in a mess of limbs and desire, shone under the candleʼs dance.

Especially Delphine—her face glowed with a rosy flush, twitching slightly with the lingering aftershocks of pleasure, her features twisted in a thoroughly satisfied expression. Every part of her had been claimed, touched, and filled. Every hole had received his attention.

She looked… complete.

Her head rested over his chest, rising and falling slowly with his breath. Her eyes locked on his face, unwavering, as if she were trying to memorise every detail like it was a dream she feared might vanish.

Aether glanced down at her and let out a soft chuckle, his fingers trailing lazily over her back. He could feel her gaze—so intense, so unblinking. Her eyes were practically devouring him with a silent hunger. With a playful smirk, he reached down and gave her soft, reddened ass a gentle pinch.

”What?” he asked with a teasing, sly grin. ”Thinking about another round already?”

Delphine let out a hiss—a mixture of flustered embarrassment and lingering pleasure—before pouting. A heavy blush crept across her cheeks as she huffed, ”Nope! My pussy... it literally canʼt take any more of your stuff... seriously,” she said, her voice raw and blunt, with absolutely no hesitation.

He couldnʼt help but grin at her honesty... And she wasnʼt wrong—after everything, her pussy really had taken more than its fair share.

Even now, she could feel her insides stretching and trembling, her stomach oddly full and bloated, almost like she had overstuffed herself at a feast—but instead, it was his thick, overwhelming essence.

Aether chuckled again and leaned in to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. ”Well, I hope my services were to your satisfaction, Madam~”

Delphineʼs face turned an even deeper shade of crimson. She buried her face into his chest like a shy kitten, her voice muffled as she mumbled, ”I-I canʼt believe you actually did that... all of that...”

Aether just grinned wider, his hand lazily rubbing soothing circles on her back. ”Well, youʼre the one who brought it up, remember? You were interested in those things—”

”Ouch!” he yelped suddenly, flinching as she bit his nipple in protest.

”I am not interested in that weird stuff!” she retorted sharply, glaring at him with an exaggerated pout, though her cheeks still blazed with colour.

Aether laughed, the sound low and amused. ”Hah... right, right... itʼs always me, isnʼt it? Iʼm the big pervert here.” His voice dripped with teasing amusement, but there was affection beneath it, too.

Delphine nodded firmly, not even pretending to hesitate. ”Yes, you are! You... bad boy... always doing such wicked things~” she muttered, trying to sound repulsed—but her tone faltered. Her expression, despite the words, was flushed and far from disgusted.

Aetherʼs grin widened even more, glinting with mischief. ”Oh really now? Then Iʼll make sure to check all those naughty books youʼre hiding away. Letʼs see what other wicked fantasies youʼre harbouring, hm?” he whispered with a low, seductive edge.

Delphineʼs thighs tensed, her white, thoroughly stuffed pussy trembling at his words. She lowered her head, her cheeks crimson, lips trembling. She wouldnʼt say anything aloud.

No way. But if he was going to start digging... then maybe leaving a few books out in the open—purely by accident—might save them both time.

After all, why make him search? If he found them on his own, then... well, it wouldnʼt be her fault, right?

Her thoughts flickered with a secret grin she kept hidden. On the outside, she put on her best annoyed face and huffed, ”Iʼm not hiding anything!” she insisted, then leaned in to snuggle against his face with mock innocence.

Aether shook his head slowly. She could only act genuinely when she was completely turned on... but oh well. He adored every side of her, even the ones she tried to pretend didnʼt exist. He wasnʼt blaming her for anything.

He just wanted her, all of her.

As the hours trickled by and the room settled into soft silence, the afterglow began to fade, replaced by the creeping weight of thoughts. Aetherʼs gaze, once calm, now carried a haze of quiet worry. Reality was beginning to slip back in, cutting through the haze of passion like a slow-moving fog.

The moment of truth loomed close.

Out of all the women in his life, Delphine was the one he felt the least certain about.

She was sensitive, emotionally sharp... and she had the power to see glimpses of the future. That alone made her unpredictable. Maybe she already knew the truth and was just waiting for him to be brave enough to say it... Or maybe she didnʼt know, and telling her would only shatter what they had.

It was a tangled, messed-up situation. With the others, he could play with words, mask his deeper worries behind teasing and confidence. But with Delphine... ʼThe uncertaintyʼ was eating at him like slow poison.

The only reason he had been able to tell Helena the truth was because she had been pure-hearted, innocent—and because Sera had softened her.

Whatever Sera had told her, whatever lies or half-truths... it had made Helena ready to accept him. Her heart had already been opened before he ever spoke a word. When he finally did confess, her reaction had been manageable. It could have gone worse. A lot worse. But thanks to Seraʼs emotional groundwork... Helena had already been willing to understand.

Helena wasnʼt a yandere. She was just someone who loved deeply—almost too much, maybe, but in a beautiful way.

And Sera... Sera was definitely a yandere, no doubt about that. But she had made Helena accept everything about him... That made her dangerously helpful.

But Delphine... she was a different case altogether. Even though he had slowly, gently revealed bits and pieces of his life to her—his fears, his past—there was a lingering dread in his heart.

What if she left?

What if she took his child and vanished?

That thought twisted in his gut like a knife.

He wasnʼt ready to wait for years in silence, hoping sheʼd come back. He wasnʼt prepared to let her give birth alone, in some faraway place, raising their child in isolation. That wasnʼt the kind of story he wanted for them.

He hated those clichés in novels—where one of the MCʼs wives leaves over some dramatic misunderstanding, only to reappear years later with the MCʼs child... all grown up. That kind of shit made his blood boil.

Especially for someone like Aether, who absolutely loved children... the idea of missing his loverʼs pregnancy, not being there for her pain, her delivery, the miracle of new life... not holding the baby in his arms from the beginning... it made him feel sick. If that happened—if he missed all of it—he would hate himself... Maybe forever!!

As he was drowning in that ocean of dark thoughts, suddenly—

”A-Aether...” Delphineʼs soft voice broke the silence, shaky and uncertain.

He blinked, his mind snapping back to the present. He looked down at her. She was tracing slow, nervous circles on his chest with her fingers, her eyes lowered, refusing to meet his.

”I... I want to talk about something... something really important,” she said, her voice trembling with fear and hesitation.

Aether blinked again, surprised by her sudden seriousness. ”Well... I also have something really important to say,” he replied carefully.

Delphine looked up, startled, ”You too...? Then... you go first,” she said, curiosity mixing with worry in her tone.

Aether shook his head with a gentle smile, brushing her cheek softly. ”Ladies first~” he whispered warmly.

Delphine exhaled slowly, as if steadying herself. Her expression looked pained, her brows furrowing slightly. Aetherʼs heart pounded faster, a sudden wave of panic rising in his chest. ʼOh no... Is this it? Is this just like in those goddamn novels?ʼ he thought nervously.

She inhaled again, this time more deeply, and finally said, ”Who is the second most important person you love?”

Aether blinked, confused. ”Hmm...? What are you talking about?”

Delphine repeated the question, this time with her voice a bit tighter, her throat straining, ”I asked... who is the second most person you love?” Her eyes finally met his—hesitant, searching, and full of a strange, trembling hope.

Honestly... he didnʼt know what she was getting at.

Was this a trap?

A cue to confess something deeper?

Or just a completely different conversation he wasnʼt ready for?

Still, Aether tried to answer, ”Well... Iʼm not sure how to answer that. The second most person I love...? Hmm... Do you mean like, among my lovers? Or someone else?”

Delphine bit her lip, her voice cracking slightly. ”L-Like lovers...” she said softly, her eyes filled with fear and longing as she waited for his answer—one that might either shatter or soothe something deep inside her.

Aether hummed quietly for a second, letting his gaze wander over the ceiling as the question echoed in his mind.

Honestly, he didnʼt know how to answer something like that.

How could he?

But if someone were to seriously ask him if he had a favourite among them...

He felt his chest tighten with disgust at the thought alone.

That single idea—of picking one above the others—sent a sick churn through his stomach.

He didnʼt know how to express it properly, but something about it... felt like betrayal. And the moment one face tried to rise above the rest in his mind... that was the exact moment he would realise he had failed them all.

Heʼd never thought about it much before. Back when he read novels and watched anime, especially those harem stories, it always seemed simple. He used to believe—no, he was sure—that there was always one special girl the main character truly favoured, even if he acted like all the others were just as important.

In fact, he even thought it made sense. Of course, there would be one woman the MC liked more, right?

He had believed that.

Until he lived this life.

Now that he stood in the centre of a real harem—not one crafted by authors but one born from his choices, his mistakes, his desires, and their unwavering love—he saw just how deeply wrong that idea had been.

No... it wasnʼt just wrong.

It was vile!

Because when you truly live and breathe with someone, when you share pain and joy, when you protect and get protected in return... the lines blur.

The idea of ranking them like trophies on a shelf?

It turned his stomach.

He especially remembered women like Xara. She was dangerous. Her personality needed careful navigation—she could collapse into darkness if not pampered and loved properly.

If he ever dared to make her feel like she was second, or worse... optional?

That wasnʼt love.

That was cruelty.

If someone could be ”the favourite” among those you claimed to love... then all the others were, by default, just options... Disposable... Replaceable!

And that... that was not who Aether was.

These women who gave their hearts to him—who bled, cried, laughed, and lived for him—they were never options. They were his everything. His life had been saved by them, over and over again. He had died for them, and they had sacrificed for him, for each other, for his sake.

And through that... he had learned something profound.

For them, he wasnʼt an option... He was their one and only. Their entire world!

How could he ever reduce their love to a ranking?

It wasnʼt that he was forcing himself to think this way.

No. In fact, at the beginning... he did have a favourite. Selene.

Her presence had left a deep, haunting impact on him. Her affection, her loyalty, her everything.

She had once been the one he thought of the most.

But as time went on... as more and more incredible women entered his life... he began to see it.

Each of them had left a different kind of scar on his heart. A different kind of beauty. Slowly, his ”favourite” blurred. It faded.... until what remained was only a straight line—each beloved standing side by side, all equally precious, none above the other.

Was it impossible?

Was he just lying to himself, trying to pretend he was better than he really was?

Maybe others would think so. Maybe even he doubted it, sometimes. Could anyone really love that way?

That deep inside, surely, there must be someone he treasured more than the others.

...No.

Aether could swear it with every fibre of his being.

He didnʼt have a favourite.

Everyone was his favourite.

Sure, nothing in life stays frozen. Things might change. Emotions could evolve.

But if it ever came down to choosing one and abandoning the rest...

He would rather die.

Yes, he was that serious. He would rather slit his own throat than commit such a sin against the women he loved with his whole heart.

He didnʼt just seduce them. He didnʼt just sleep with them. He showed them what life could be, what love could mean.

And picking one?

Throwing the rest aside?

Hell fucking no!!

”Aether?” Delphineʼs soft voice suddenly broke into his storm of thoughts.

He blinked and shook his head, grounding himself again. His eyes met hers, and this time his voice carried a weight that couldnʼt be faked.

”I donʼt have any ʼsecond most loved one,ʼ” he said firmly, his tone serious and calm.

Delphine stared at him, her eyes narrowing slightly as if she were trying to catch a lie. But as the seconds passed, as she looked deeper into his expression—into his soul—she sighed and smiled faintly.

”Hmm...” she murmured, still watching him intently. A curious spark flickered in her gaze. Then, softly, ”Then tell me... You love me, right?”

He blinked in disbelief. That question—how could she even ask that?

”Thatʼs even a question?” he asked with a disappointed frown, his brows furrowing. The audacity stung a little. How dare she doubt that?

Delphineʼs lips curled into a teasing smile. ”Just answer me.”

Aether sighed and nodded, ”Yes. I love you.”

Delphineʼs smile grew warmer. But then, her voice dipped lower, her tone edged with something more serious.

”Then... if I wasnʼt here—if I didnʼt exist—who would you have fallen for instead?”

Her voice carried a certain weight now. Not playful. Not teasing. This wasnʼt just a test—it was something deeper. Her eyes pierced him with a raw, searching look.

Aether blinked, thinking to himself, ʼWomen...ʼ Honestly, only they could come up with twisted, roundabout questions like this—questions that had no right answer, that coiled through your brain like riddles.

But even as he questioned it...

Why was she asking this?

He frowned slightly. ”What are you trying to get at here?”

”Please answer me, Aether. Iʼm serious,” she said again, her tone firm and unwavering.

Aether sighed, then ran a hand through his messy hair. ”If you werenʼt here... then I guess... probably Aria?” he muttered, more out of logic than certainty. After all, Delphine had seen him interact more with Aria than anyone else.

Delphineʼs face went blank for a second. Then—

”Ouch! Hey! Donʼt bite the nip—ow, damn it—COUGH!!” Aether yelped as she chomped down on his nipple like it was a snack.

Delphine glared at him with fury. ”That woman!? I knew that woman would—fuck that elven bitch!!” she growled, pouting furiously before letting out a frustrated sigh.

”You know...” she continued, her voice softer now, tinged with vulnerability, ”I had a talk with my niece... Selene. She made me realise something... something Iʼve been avoiding for a long time...”

Her tone dropped lower, pain seeping into her words as she buried herself into his chest. Her arms tightened around him, her grip desperate, scared.

Aether frowned, his thoughts sharpening. ʼWhat the hell did Selene say to her...?ʼ

Delphine gulped, her voice shaky and tearful as she whispered, ”Y-Youʼd never leave me, right?”

”Of course not,” Aether said immediately, tightening his arms around her bare back, pulling her closer. He could feel the fear through her trembling—pure, aching fear that leaked through their emotional connection.

Delphine choked out her next words, barely above a whisper. ”E-Even if thereʼs... another woman in your life?”

Aether blinked. His heart skipped a beat.

Then, with a sigh, he spoke telepathically, reaching out like a mental sigh, /Sel... just what did you say to your Aunt?/

/...Hehe~/

Only a sly, wicked chuckle echoed in his mind.
