Living In Another World With A Farm

The carriage continued on for a while before stopping in front of a small Manor. This Manor was not very big, but it could be seen that someone had taken care of it. The road in front of the manor was very clean, and there were no weeds on the manor’s walls. Two stone lions were placed at the manor’s Gate, and on the gate tower, there was a sign with the words ” rosy cloud Manor ”.

This red clouds village was the Liu family’s courtyard. Usually, few people would come here. Only in the middle of summer every year would the Liu family come here to stay for a few days in order to avoid the summer heat. Of course, they would also come in autumn to go hunting on juyun mountain.

At this time, the people of the Liu family would usually not come here. Although the gathering clouds on the mountain was a famous scene in the soul world, it would still be annoying to see it too much. People who lived in the gathering clouds city would rarely come to the gathering clouds mountain at this time because they all knew that there were many people on the mountain at this time.

The horse carriage stopped and the old sect master led little crane grass and little Yu ’er down from the carriage. At this moment, the door guard had already gone up to knock on the door.

The door guard had just knocked a few times when the door opened. An old man in his fifties looked out from the door. When the old man saw the old door, he quickly opened the door and bowed to the old door, ” ”Greetings, chief supervisor.”

The old man looked at the old man and smiled, ” ”Blockhead, you’re getting more and more idle. Why didn’t you go out today, but instead hid at home?”

The old man who opened the door was called Liu Sen, the steward of this Manor. Of course, he couldn’t be compared to the old man. He was just the steward of a leisure Manor. How could he be compared to the old man?

However, Liu Sen had done a good job. He had been in the manor for a long time and had been taking care of it well. He would usually farm and live a leisurely life. His father even envied him a little. His father had thought about it. After a few years as the external steward, he would find a Manor like this and be a steward who didn’t care about anything. He would retire.

The Liu family was a large family and had many manors like this. Not only in cloud gathering city, but there were also manors in other places, even in lucui city. So it was not difficult to be the manager of such a Manor.

Liu Sen looked at the old man and said with a smile, ” ”Sect supervisor, you must be joking. These few days, there have been a lot of foreigners coming to the gathering cloud Mountain. I don’t want to go out and cause trouble, so I can only hide at home every day.”

Hearing Liu Sen’s words, the old man was stunned. Then, his face darkened and he said, ” ”What’s wrong, old Liu? could it be that there are outsiders who dare to cause trouble for our Liu family?” Although the old man wanted to retire, he had been working for the Liu family all his life and had long regarded the Liu family as his own family. He was naturally unhappy when he heard Liu Sen’s words.

Liu Sen quickly said, ” &Quot; no, no, you’ve misunderstood, sect chief. In fact, you don’t live at the foot of juyun mountain, so you don’t know this. Usually, there aren’t many people who come to juyun mountain, but at this time of the year, there will be a large number of people who come here. Among these people, there are all kinds of people. It’s fine if some of them are reasonable, but no matter if they want to stay here for the night or buy some food, they will be polite. However, there are some people who are unreasonable. In order to avoid trouble, I usually hide in the manor and don’t go out. Even if there are people who want to stay, I will send them away. After all, there are many places for people to stay here.”

Hearing Liu Sen’s words, the old man nodded and said in a deep voice, ” ”It’s good that nobody finds trouble. Well, old Liu, my godgrandsons and godgranddaughter are here today. I’ll take them to enjoy the scenery here. They will stay here for one night. Please arrange some rooms for us. Don’t move the main room. It seems that the young master of the Zhang clan wants to come here on a whim. If there’s no room, it will be troublesome. Just arrange a room for me in the outer courtyard.”

Liu Sen nodded and said, ” okay, there are many rooms in the outer courtyard, and I clean them every day. This way, please. Little brother, please drive the carriage to the back courtyard. There is a courtyard dedicated to storing carriages. &Quot; Men Qing responded and drove the carriage away.

The old gatekeeper led little crane grass and little Yu ’er into the courtyard with Liu Sen. The courtyard was very simple. The front courtyard was like a siheyuan, but in the main room, there was a Hall. From there, one could go directly to the backyard. The backyard was the main house, where the Liu family lived every time they came to the manor. The outer courtyard was where the servants lived.

Although the outer courtyard was where the servants lived, it was very large and the rooms here were not bad. Liu Sen led the old doorman and the others to a room in the outer courtyard, reached out and pushed the door open, ” ”Chief supervisor, how about you stay in this room with the child?”

The old man looked into the room and nodded in satisfaction. Although the room was not big, it was a small living room. Although it was called a living room, it could not really be considered a living room. There was only a small table in the room and a large Kang bed. Because they were at the foot of the mountain, the mountain wind was very strong, so the mountain people were used to living on a Kang bed. It was warm and comfortable.
