Re-Awakened :I Ascend as an SSS-Ranked Dragon Summoner

Morning came way too soon.

Noah groaned as his eyes fluttered open, already hearing something moving around in the room. A lot of something.

His vision focused, and the sight made him blink in disbelief.

Kelvin was pacing, cables draped over his shoulders, his side of the room flooded with extra monitors. Screens flickered with game stats, forum posts, livestream links—everything centered around one thing.

Him.

Noah rubbed his face. ”What the hell are you doing?”

Kelvin spun around dramatically, eyes blazing with excitement. ”Oh, finally! The legend himself awakens!” He threw his arms wide. ”Noah, today is the day! The day your name will be immortalized!”

Noah groaned, sitting up. ”Kelvin—”

”No, no, no! You don’t get to be casual about this!” Kelvin pointed at him. ”You, my friend, are about to become a god in the gaming world! The forums are on fire, the academy is buzzing, and today… ohhh, today—” Stay tuned for updates on freewebnovel

He gestured wildly at the screens.

”—Shadow Oracle faces Gigarose!”

Noah exhaled, staring at the ceiling.

’Here we go.’

Kelvin practically bounced on his feet as he continued his over-the-top monologue.

”Listen, listen, listen!” He held up his hands dramatically. ”You’ve got one hour before the match. That gives you enough time to freshen up, take a nice, relaxing shower, maybe even do a couple of practice runs—get yourself in the zone.”

Noah yawned, rubbing his temple. ”You act like I don’t already know how to prep for a game.”

Kelvin waved him off. ”Yeah, yeah, but this isn’t just any game, my dude. This is Gigarose. And guess what?” He leaned in with a smug grin. ”I pulled some strings. The arcade guys? They’re letting us use their full setup. Since, you know, this is basically an esports event at this point.”

Noah raised an eyebrow. ”Seriously?”

Kelvin nodded, beaming. ”Dead serious. The whole academy is talking about this, man. Gamers all over the dorms are gonna be watching the stream, hyping you up, cheering for Shadow Oracle.”

Noah exhaled, running a hand through his hair. ”Great. No pressure, huh?”

Kelvin clapped him on the shoulder. ”Exactly! No pressure! Just go in there and do your thing, bro. You got this.”

Before Noah could respond, Kelvin spun around and bolted for the door.

As soon as he stepped out, his voice boomed through the hallway.

”I HAVE THE BEST FRIEND EVER!!!”

Noah sighed, shaking his head as distant shouts of ”Shut up, Kelvin!” rang through the dorm.

’This guy is way too excited for someone who isn’t even playing.’

Still, he had to admit—it was nice having someone who believed in him that much.

Noah went about his routine, shaking off the morning grogginess with a quick shower, a few light stretches. By the time he was done, the air in the dorm felt electric with anticipation.

When he returned to the room, he found Kelvin had outdone himself.

The VR setup had arrived.

Kelvin was in full tech-wizard mode, his hands moving with practiced ease as he pieced everything together. His grin was practically uncontainable.

”See that? All set up, ready to go,” Kelvin said, tossing a cable aside. ”And before you even think about worrying, I ran a full diagnostics check using my technopathic powers.” His fingers twitched slightly as he accessed the internal systems. ”No connection drops, no latency spikes—you’re running optimum performance, my guy.”

Noah smirked. ”You sure you don’t want to be the one playing?”

Kelvin scoffed. ”Pfft. Please. This is your moment. I’m just here to make sure the legend of Shadow Oracle doesn’t get derailed by a lag spike.”

With everything in place, there was only one thing left to do.

Noah stepped forward, slipping into the pod. The moment he sat down, the high-tech suit molded perfectly to his frame, syncing with his body movements. The neural interface flickered to life, and as soon as he fastened the visor—

[WELCOME BACK SHADOW ORACLE]

The digital world materialized around him, vivid and immersive. A smooth, sleek loading screen pulsed with energy as the Elder Genes platform came online.

Noah barely had time to take it in before the chat feed exploded.

Messages scrolled rapidly, some from diehard fans hyping him up—

”Shadow Oracle is HERE! Let’s GO!!”

”Biggest match of the season!”

”Bro is about to cook Gigarose!”

Others? Not so friendly.

”Hacker spotted.”

”He’s cheating. There’s no way a year one has this skill level.”

”Bet he’s abusing an exploit again.”

Noah ignored it all. None of it mattered.

Because the real battle was about to begin.

A system notification popped up.

[Gigarose has sent you a match invite.]

Noah exhaled, rolling his shoulders.

’Alright. Let’s do this.’

He accepted the invite.

The screen darkened.

Then—

The moment Noah accepted the match invite, his screen flickered—just for a second.

To the average player, it would look like a harmless glitch.

But he knew better.

His system had hijacked Elder Genes again, forcing his real-life abilities into the game. This time, it wasn’t just a minor stat boost. This was a full override.

A notification popped up.

[System Override: Complete.]

Noah felt a pulse—a familiar rush of power surging through his virtual form.

And Kelvin?

Still had no idea.

Another notification followed immediately, displaying his true stats in-game:

Noah smirked, stretching his fingers as the game world settled into view.

’Alright, Gigarose… let’s see what you got.’

The arena was set.

Across the arena, a new figure materialized in a shimmer of digital light.

Gigarose.

Her avatar was a sight to behold—completely drenched in pink from head to toe. A tight, futuristic bodysuit hugged every exaggerated curve of her frame, leaving little to the imagination. Her most notable feature? A pair of gigantic breasts that defied all logic, bouncing slightly even though she was standing still.

Strapped to her back were two sleek, curved blades, their edges glowing faintly with an energy field. A matching pink helmet covered most of her face, leaving only her lips exposed—plump, glossy, and slightly smirking.

Elder Genes allowed in-game voice communication, and Gigarose wasted no time making use of it.

”So you’re the one making waves in my game, huh?” she said, tilting her head slightly.

Shadow Oracle remained silent.

Noah just stared at her through his dark, hooded avatar.

Gigarose let out a playful hum. ”A strong, silent type? No worries~” she teased in a high-pitched, overly friendly tone. ”I’ll make you talk after the match. Deal?”

The countdown appeared.
