Child of Destiny

…

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Seeing the group of Unforgiven Ones at the Ethereal Opening Stage charging at them from every direction, the three did not dare to lower their guards.

They immediately went for their strongest forms, planning to fight the opposing side with all they had.

Roar! Roar!

Deafening roars came from Arthur and Leonard’s bodies while their respective Battle Spirits manifested behind them for a brief moment before fusing their bodies.

Behind Arthur, a majestic Five-Clawed Golden Dragon appeared. It looked down on the incoming opponents with haughty and prideful eyes before merging with Arthur.

In response, Arthur underwent a series of transformations.

A golden aura covered his entire being while diamond-shaped scales of golden color surfaced throughout his body. Those on his left arm were smooth and sharp, while those spreading on his lend hand made it somewhat slender yet sharp and deadly.

The scales on the right arm were much thicker in comparison and had more distinctive features, particularly on the segments highlighted by each scale. The scales covering his right arm were also a bit larger than the ones on the other hand, creating a savage and powerful claw with devastating power.

It was a unique Void Manifestation Technique that the Springfield Family had, which was a version of their Qi Armor.

It was supposed to be only accessible for members of the family who had reached the Void Manifestation Stage, but Arthur was able to use it in an earlier stage due to his extremely dense bloodline.

At the same time, he had also channeled his Draconic Qi into his spear, further reinforcing its properties.

In the meantime, his golden eyes shone with a pale glow while his irises turned into vertical slits. He was activating his Foresight Talent while also combining it with his Draconic Abilitie, creating his unique version of it.

…

Roar!

In the meantime, Leonard had a similar transformation. The Battle Spirit in the form of a crimson lion briefly appeared behind him before swiftly fusing with his body.

His already muscular body was further enhanced, highlighting his properly toned muscles. They bulged a bit larger, exposing his overwhelming physical strength.

At the same time, crimson tattoos spread throughout his body, which further strengthened his overall combat prowess.

At the same time, his entire body also released a hot steam alongside the crimson aura that he was already emitting. They mixed with one another while his physical strength and combat abilities were further raised to a higher level.

He then started charging forward, taking the initiative to charge straight at the incoming opponents.

…

Shin, on the other hand, summoned his strongest form at the same time.

He made a series of seals with his hand while releasing as much Mental Energy from his body, which summoned a small storm around him.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Rune after rune surfaced on his skin, forming a unique strengthening formation throughout his body. They linked with one another and shone bright, surfacing like shining tattoos.

This was a technique that he had created by combining the Four Symbol Scripture and a few special techniques that David had taught him during their training sessions. It was also said that it came from the secret technique of the Solomon Kingdom.

He had already used this technique before during the special training in the mountains alongside David and Laura, but it had yet to reach its strongest state at that time, since they had yet to perfect them.

Shin had only polished it further when he broke through to the peak of the Grandmaster Realm.

It was similar to David’s Divine Avatar State, but Shin had created a unique version of his own.

To further enhance this state, a diagram of five divine beasts appeared behind him instead of their Battle Spirit Form.

Rings of runes also spun rhythmically from the outer layer of the circular diagram, making it look like a floating formation behind him.

Unlike Arthur and Leonard, who were charging straight at their incoming opponents, Shin stayed in his spot. He repeatedly adjusted his stance and steadily waved his hands, seemingly controlling the surrounding energies.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

In response, the five elements were pulled toward him and danced around his body, revolving around him beautifully.

Clap!

A moment later, he joined his palms together, producing a strong ripple in the air along with his Mental Energy.

The overlapping ripples swiftly spread outwards and produced a strong mental attack that assaulted the incoming opponents straight at them.

“Urgh!”

“Argh!”

Groans came out from the mouths of those Unforgiven Ones due to the sudden assault of mental attacks that were trying to invade their minds.

But that only lasted for a moment because they were able to quickly recollect their thoughts and regain their minds immediately after.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

However, the other two from the opposing party had already reached them at that point and took the initiative to attack.

Leonard and Arthur arrived right before their respective opponents and threw their attacks immediately after.

Roar!

The former threw a powerful punch forward, which swiftly summoned the huge manifestation of a lion behind him, before erupting in a powerful explosion.

Boom!

He blasted three of the Unforgiven Ones before him away with this powerful punching, sending them flying in the opposite direction.

Arthur, on the other hand, summoned a barrage of spear shadows by throwing a series of stabs toward his opponents. This barrage of spear shadows overwhelmed his opponent, covering a huge area, and prevented them from advancing further.

Shu! Shu! Shu!

While the two were attacking from two different planks of Shin, the rest of the Unforgiven Ones were charging straight at him, attacking from behind.

Wail~!

However, before they could even reach him, they saw a huge shadow of a Black Tortoise surrounding Shin before releasing an eerie cry.

Swoosh!

Immediately after, a strong wave of cold currents suddenly flowed out from his body and spread out in every direction.

The Black Tortoise breathed out cold air, which swiftly produced a thick fog that swallowed everyone.

’Four Symbol Scripture: Heavenly Black Tortoise – Cold Mist of Heaven’

Swoosh!

The cold fog instantly swallowed everyone within its effective range. Even Arthur and Leonard took the initiative to jump into it, disappearing from the sight of their opponents.

Shin originally wanted to use this opportunity to use the teleportation talismans to return to the base at the very least. Unfortunately, he immediately noticed that the surrounding space was somewhat unstable, discouraging him from doing so.

If he forcefully used the teleport away from this place under such conditions, then the consequence would be extremely dire.

They had no choice but to fight, so he decisively dropped his initial plan and swiftly adjusted the plan.

Took out a stack of talismans from his dimensional bag and scattered them in every direction, letting them fall into the ground and form an array within the fog.

In the meantime, Arthur and Leonard started fighting the Unforgiven Ones, who were trapped within them within the fog.

This fog was only meant to hide from their opponents. It also had the ability to create illusions, which Shin was constantly manipulating while setting up the array.

Now that he had achieved his current attainments in Mentalism, he was no longer limited to just direct combats and such.

Moreover, after witnessing the glimpse of what his Mentalism Method could do and how powerful Grandmaster Benn was earlier, Shin started taking things a bit differently.

The things that he could do with this Mentalism Method that he had inherited from his teacher were much broader than he originally thought.

He was quite curious about his teacher’s abilities when it came to close-combat-quarters. After all, it was Grandmaster Benn, who had created all his Mentalism Techniques, so his combat prowess when it came to this area should be equally strong as what he had just witnessed earlier.

While his two brothers were dealing with their opponents by taking advantage of their Fog Prison and Illusions, Shin was preparing for their next move.

He knew that the true obstacle that they had to face right now was those two Void Manifestation Stage Unforgiven Ones, who had yet to make their moves, even with the current situation.

When dealing with more powerful opponents, before more prepared while being underestimated was the best way to turn the situation around.

In the meantime, the two leaders of the group of Unforgiven Ones were currently watching the situation with calm expressions on their faces.

They had already sealed the place with an isolation barrier and even affected the surrounding space with spatial distortion to prevent the opposing side from running away.

Unless someone overwhelmingly powerful tried to break through it through their special channel prepared ahead of time, then getting here would be impossible.

But their expression immediately became somewhat declassified after seeing that the dozen Unforgiven Ones on their side were still unable to capture the three despite being given enough time.

Moreover, quite a lot of them were being thrown out of the fog before them, signifying that the opposing side was beating them despite their advantage in numbers.

They could not see what was inside the fog, so they were not clear about the situation, but they should be able to handle this much, given all the training and experimentation that they had gone through in the base.

“I seem like these kids need to undergo more ’sessions’ when we get back. They seem to be a bit worse compared to top-notch geniuses of this level,” commented one of them after the situation.

“Should we make our move?” asked the other.

“Just lend them a little hand by clearing that fog,” said the one, who seemed to have more authority within the group, before adding. “I want to observe a bit more and see how much the gap between the talents of these top geniuses and the combination of our artificial talents and Seeds of Hatred.”

The other nodded before quickly executing the order.

Swoosh!

However, what greeted them after was something they did not expect.

The surprise that Shin had prepared was also revealed to their eyes.
