I Beat Up Npcs in a Bizarre World

200: Chapter 200: Werewolf Game (Part 1)Qian Ye opened her eyes and saw a glowing transparent panel in front of her.

Current dungeon: Werewolf Game.

Current Identity: Civilian.

Survival Time Limit: Seven nights.

Clear Condition: All opposing factions are dead.

Current dungeon Population: 22 people.

Qian Ye stared at the contents of the panel and murmured to herself, ”22 people, so 11 people in each faction.”

Retracting the panel, Qian Ye stretched her body and looked around; everywhere was broken walls and ruins, with claw marks on the walls.

Looking closer, those claw marks looked more like animal claws.

”Where is this?”

”Fuck, why am I in again! I just finished the last one.”

Gradually, more and more people arrived, gathering nearby.

”Wu Village?” a player stared at the tattered sign above.

”This looks like a village, did an explosion happen?” The speaker was a burly man who looked to be in his forties.

Staring at the text above, he scratched his head, ”Wu Village? More like No Survival. Could there actually be a witch? Hahaha.”

”Heh, I bet you haven’t opened your panel yet.”

Another young man looked at the burly man’s arrogant appearance and reminded him with a cold sneer.

”What?” The burly man, confused, opened his panel. The further down he read, the worse his expression became.

”Damn it, isn’t this making us kill each other?”

”Damn, this is too ruthless.”

”I’m a Civilian, what are your identities?” After hearing him, the players who had finished checking their identities silently moved a bit further away.

This guy was reckless too.

Silently lighting a candle for him.

Not long after he finished speaking, the familiar text appeared in mid-air again.

Current dungeon: Werewolf Game.

Survival Mode activated. Survival time limit: seven nights. Survivors will clear the dungeon.

As soon as the text appeared, the atmosphere around them instantly became subtle, with wariness in everyone’s eyes.

Their respective identities had been determined.

”What exactly does this game want to do?” A young player was having a bit of a breakdown. He was still celebrating clearing a stage, thinking he could at least survive for a while, but before he could even be happy, he was pulled into a game again.

”I... I just wanted to live a few more days...” The young player covered his face, looking pained. Having been chosen for no reason, it seemed now that his ultimate fate was only death.

His words silenced the people present. Indeed, stage after stage, endless; death might actually be a form of relief.

But, death...

How could it be so easy to face death... Confronted with it, one finds that they still want to live on.

Qian Ye lazily stretched and shook her head, ”Human emotions really are complicated.”

Faction issues, trust issues.

The people currently present didn’t trust each other; everyone chose to act alone.

Unlike the others, Qian Ye didn’t enter the village. At the village entrance, she stared at the name for a long time, lost in thought.

As time passed, the sky grew darker.

Inside Wu Village, dilapidated streetlights flickered on and off, adding a touch of gloom to the already abandoned village.

The last bit of greyish-white was swallowed up; now, the night took center stage.

”Awoo~”

Suddenly, a wolf’s howl echoed through the silent night.

Qian Ye followed the sound, but she was too late; only a patch of blood and some mangled remains were left.

A bloody scent mixed with other strange odors hung in the air.

”Just as I thought.”

None of this had anything to do with her; she had more important things to do now.

Thinking this, Qian Ye looked serious, her small face tensed as she walked further inside.

The night grew darker and darker.

The wolf howls became more frequent.

”W-what’s going on? Where is that wolf howling coming from?”

In the darkness, several people hid behind an abandoned house, cautiously scanning their surroundings.

Listening as the wolf howls drew closer.
