I Beat Up Npcs in a Bizarre World

136: Episode 136: The Train That Never Stops (Part 5)An Ke looked at Qianye, somewhat overwhelmed by the favor. She hadn’t expected her—she had actually given the only ticket to her. She had chosen...

Watching her look as if she were about to cry, Qianye’s mouth twitched. ”Don’t overthink it.”

She simply had another purpose and happened to be testing whether this method was useful.

”Now you should know. From here on out, you’re on your own.”

An Ke sniffled and nodded frantically.

The Train Conductor continued to check tickets in the other carriages. Qianye followed him the whole way, wearing a smile identical to the Train Conductor’s. She witnessed what it meant to act tyrannically; wherever they passed, the passengers were trembling with fear. When they arrived at Bai Lin’s carriage, it turned out he was in the very last one.

At this moment, he was covered in blood and gore, his flesh torn and raw. The carriage was covered in blood; there were corpses everywhere—on the seats, on the floor, on the walls. Everywhere were signs of a struggle.

Even so, his carriage had the most passengers. Upon entering, it actually felt a bit crowded.

”Ticket inspection.”

At the Train Conductor’s single word, ”Ticket inspection,” the expressions of all the passengers in the carriage changed. In contrast, Bai Lin looked somewhat surprised, though it was also accompanied by a sense of realization. He opened his hand, and clutched in his palm was the very ticket the Train Conductor had mentioned.

Qianye was quite astonished. She hadn’t expected that while she was only guessing, this person had actually already put it into action. This truly surprised her.

Seeing the ticket in his hand, the Train Conductor looked at him with a meaningful smile. After calmly checking his ticket, his gaze fixed on the remaining passengers.

”Where are your tickets?”

At these words, those passengers began to scramble, wanting to flee the place.

The Train Conductor was unhurried. He glanced at them with eyes full of contempt and straightened his attire. The next instant, his entire being suddenly changed.

His whole body twisted, and the next second, he opened a bloody maw and lunged toward the scrambling passengers.

A moment later, only the sound of belching could be heard in the carriage.

”Mmm, today is another day of a satisfying meal.”

The next second, he looked at Qianye with a meaningful expression and smacked his lips. ”Actually, in this place, you are the most delicious.”

After saying this, he looked intoxicated.

”I look forward to the day I get to taste you.”

Qianye stared at him with a smirk. ”I look forward even more to the look on your face when you were a child.”

The Train Conductor left. Qianye looked at Bai Lin, who was covered in blood; fortunately, he still looked relatively energetic.

At this moment, he was the only passenger left in the carriage.

Once the person was gone, Bai Lin finally dared to relax and slumped onto the floor. ”So, tickets can be stolen.”

He then glanced at Qianye.

Qianye smoothed her skirt, preparing to leave. She turned back slightly and curled her lips into a faint smile. ”You must guard your memories well~”

Bai Lin froze for a moment, not knowing what she meant.

Was this a hint?

Qianye returned to the first carriage. Before she could even sit down, that Train Conductor rushed in front of her with a crazed expression.

”Why?”

”Why?”

Qianye met his gaze, raised an eyebrow, and looked at him with an unruly expression. ”Why what?”

”You—you know exactly why.”

Qianye blinked, staring at him with a bewildered expression, a faint smile hanging on her lips.

”Guess!”

”I already agreed, didn’t I?”

Qianye looked at his height, then looked at her own short legs, and pouted. The next second, she stepped onto the seat, making her a head taller than him, and looked down at him with contempt.

”I said before, whether you can take it or not depends on your own abilities~”

Qianye gave the Train Conductor a meaningful look.

At the thought that he had gained nothing, the Train Conductor’s expression became even more twisted.

He took one unwilling look at Qianye and left in a rage.

Qianye twitched the corner of her mouth and looked at An Ke beside her. ”You should understand now, right?”

An Ke stared at her intently, her mind racing, and then she nodded. Only then was Qianye satisfied.

For a moment, the entire carriage became quiet.

As the train slowly started, the passengers in the carriage began to grow restless. Those three passengers were twisting and turning incessantly, their bodies exuding an aura of agitation.

The train moved slowly, and the familiar darkness descended once more. The sound of the train became more and more distant as Qianye closed her eyes.

Suddenly, giggling sounds reached her ears. Qianye opened her eyes and met a pair of eyes filled with malice.

”You aren’t listening to the lecture properly—what are you doing!”

Class!

Qianye’s mind stirred as she looked around. This was a classroom, and all the students sitting inside were wearing school uniforms.

Because of the woman’s words in front of her, all the students around gathered their gazes on Qianye, staring at her intensely as if not listening to the lecture were some grave crime.

”Still daydreaming!”

”Today, I’m punishing you to clean up after school.”

Qianye raised an eyebrow and swept her peripheral vision around. Upon hearing the person in front say this, some students looked terrified, while others were gloating.

After the teacher finished speaking, she glared fiercely at Qianye once more and returned to the podium. The students below also quickly sat up straight, lowered their heads, and continued to move their hands without stopping.

”I must study.”

”I must study.”

...

Qianye turned to her side and saw her deskmate writing furiously, scribbling crazily. Just as Qianye wanted to look closely at what she was writing, she suddenly met a pair of eyes.

They were filled with bloodshot veins and were currently staring intently at Qianye. ”Study!”

”Study.”

”If you don’t study, you’ll die! If you don’t study, you’ll die!” The next second, staring at Qianye, she suddenly cracked a wide grin. ”Heehee, you’re going to die~”

”You’re going to die~”

After saying this, her head tilted to one side, and she suddenly slumped onto the desk, her eyes wide open, having stopped breathing.

The sudden movement once again attracted the gaze from above. Ignoring the person who had suddenly collapsed beside her, Qianye was targeted again; the gaze from above became sharp and scorching.

Qianye opened her mouth to say something, but suddenly the scene shifted, and the surroundings grew dim.

Looking closely, the environment was no longer a classroom. There were flickering lights around, allowing her to roughly make out the scene.

It was a playground.

Beside Qianye, there was a broom, which reminded her of the order in the classroom during the day to clean up after school.

Looking at the vast playground, there wasn’t a single soul in sight. The surroundings were so quiet that she could only hear the sound of her own breathing.

”Swish, swish, swish...”

”Swish, swish, swish...”

The sound of wind blowing through leaves came from all around, the sound getting closer bit by bit.

”Study...”

”Study...”

”Those who don’t study will all die.”

Suddenly, several students appeared from the darkness all around, stepping closer to Qianye.

Qianye held the hong ling umbrella in her hand, eager to try, the entire umbrella exuding excitement.

”Eh...”

Qianye sensed something and glanced not far to her side, happening to meet a pair of eyes.

In those eyes, the feeling they gave Qianye was that they were filled with a sense of malice. Upon looking closer, there was nothing there.

Qianye lowered her head slightly and shifted her gaze to the hong ling umbrella.

She hadn’t expected that after following her for so long, it seemed to be developing its own sentience.

The students were still closing in step by step, and Qianye had already prepared to attack. Suddenly, her hand tightened; a figure suddenly darted out from the side, grabbed Qianye, and ran.

”Don’t look back.”

In the faint light, Qianye could vaguely see the person in front wearing a school uniform, and it was the voice of a young boy.
