Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

Let us speak of a boy.

He had been surrounded by a kind older brother and a reliable older sister, and had wished that someday he too would become an adult who could support the two of them.

He liked reading books, studying was not painful, and he had thought he would eventually serve at the castle like his older brother.

These gentle days would slowly change shape, and he would support his two family members from behind the scenes—until that day, one year ago.

——The appearance of attackers from another world.

——The kind older brother becoming a monster and attacking the princess.

——The reliable older sister falling to the older brother’s wicked blade.

The gentle days and the future he had imagined shattered into pieces in a single day, as if glasswork had been slammed onto the floor.

Even so, if he could have moved forward—he would not have been trapped in such gloomy feelings.

’Ah, Gahel, Gahel—please Gahel, don’t go anywhere. Stay here forever.’

That was when about a month had passed since the attack.

He had resolved to do what he himself could, for the sister who was still working hard now, for the country—and had gone outside to look for work, but as expected he could not wipe away the label of ”relative of the one who betrayed the princess, and the same man,” and when he trudged back to the mansion alone he saw his sister collapsing in tears.

Toward the figure of the ”reliable older sister” whose kept-up surface had been ripped away, exposing a girl hurt in an age-appropriate way—he could only nod.

(Ah—as I thought, I cannot become Onee-sama’s help.)

The boy named Gahel Wayne was recognized as an existence that was only protected.

He was not relied upon, and he had no such value.

Of course he understood that was a servile thought—but while remaining in the mansion together with the servants, he could not help thinking only unpleasant things.

Does this kind of myself have value?

Saying ”something his sister must protect” sounds good—but in the end, is he not luggage that can do nothing?

He wanted to escape that current situation, but his sister did not want to let Gahel go outside, and if he went outside on his own she would become unstable like that time.

If he was going to protect his sister’s heart, staying in the mansion was best.

But then nothing would change.

(Therefore—I want to become strong.)

He wanted to become a self that was not a burden to his sister.

They were precious family. Not only being protected, he wanted to support with these hands. That was only natural.

But Gahel himself understood well that that was impossible.

Originally he was not the type with a strong body, and the magical power of light that could overturn physical ability was stronger in existences that nurtured life—in women.

Then he devoted himself to study, but no matter how much knowledge he accumulated he could not wipe away his sister’s worry.

Thinking about it it was only natural.

Grace worried because Gahel was weak, because he could not respond when an enemy appeared. ℴ

Therefore no matter how much Gahel tried it was meaningless.

No matter how he struggled he was only luggage that made his sister worry—until a little while ago.

(Ah, therefore—right now I feel very good.)

He could tell his body was transforming with meki-meki sounds.

The body that had been thin and fragile like a girl’s changed into one as sturdy as a bodybuilder’s, and even so it kept swelling saying it was still not enough.

——I want to become strong.

His thinking was only that.

Therefore more, more—more more more more more!

This is not enough, still not enough, Onee-sama surely still will not rely on me.

——Because Onee-sama, Grace Wayne, is a Sacred.

Just becoming a little better built was not enough to escape being an existence that was only protected. His older sister was amazing; precisely because he respected her he did not think and could not think he could catch up that easily.

Therefore more—the moment he thought that, the ground collapsed.

His vision wavered and he landed on his butt—but well, whatever, he submerged into his own heart again.

Everything reflected in his eyeballs was a trivial matter.

What he should prioritize was becoming strong, only that. Other thinking was wasted; Gahel Wayne had to grow even one minute one second sooner.

——Therefore even when something was thrust into his mouth, his consciousness did not waver at all.

The body moved by instinct alone, completely separated from thinking.

The thought that he wanted to become strong, that he must, remained as is, and the body continued moving as instinct dictated.

Therefore.

Right before biting off whatever had been thrust into his mouth—Gahel at first did not notice that something viscous had been poured into the back of his throat.

The first thing he felt was heat in his lower body. An impulse that painted over the obsessive thought.

Before he could understand what it was, that heat spread explosively throughout his whole body—!

”U, ha, a, aaaah—!?”

Thinking was dyed pure white.

A repulsive amount of pleasure raced through his whole body, and joy and fear swelled at the same time.

The sexual pleasure a simple boy felt for the first time painted over even the desire to become strong and occupied his thinking.

That was frightening, surrendering himself to this pleasure was too terrifying, so Gahel raised his consciousness.

Consciousness rising as if from the deep sea toward the water surface—and he saw it.

The monster thrusting tentacles this way, putting a triumphant smile on its mouth.

”You—!”

”This is ba—!?”

Don’t get in the way I will become even stronger—he swung his fist with full power to eliminate the monster before his eyes, but was blown away as if pulled by something.

He let it get away.

No, I will not let it get away.

He stood, began walking to escape the crater—and with every step leaked muffled sweet voices.

Just walking one step felt good, comfortable, and his lower abdomen rampaged seeking something like a different living thing.

What is this, scary, scary—Gahel shed tears at himself who ended up thinking that.

(Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic! Even though I became this strong, even though I am growing into a reliable human!)

With this I cannot save Onee-sama.

With this kind of state I will end only being protected.

Therefore, now, forward.

Forward, forward, forward, forward.

Clenching his teeth, suppressing the pleasure that threatened to make his consciousness fly from his whole body, one step, one step, surely.

Desperately growing, attaching resistance to this violent pleasure, the boy who had become a monster continued walking.

”—A—?”

While breathing roughly he escaped the crater and saw it.

A weak figure standing beside the earlier monster. Not a fragment of the confident behavior she usually showed him, looking this way as if fearing, as if sorrowing.

(Ah—did she force herself?)

Even though she was already at her limit with her own things, because she tried to protect her younger brother.

She had probably collapsed. She had been a strong and reliable older sister, but it was not as if her heart was insensitive. There was no way it would not be painful to be betrayed by the older brother she had admired.

(Then, even more—I have to go.)

His body was still strange; every time he took a step, every time the wind stroked his skin, an impulse he had never experienced pierced his whole body.

He did not want to move. He wanted to crouch like this and lessen even a little this pleasure that seemed about to make his head go strange.

But even so, forward.

If he crouched here—for what on earth had he become strong.

Clenching his teeth he continued walking and approached until only a few steps remained until they touched.

His sister—Sacred Knight—lowered her eyes as if frightened. It resembled his sister’s figure right before being scolded by their parents when they were young.

Did she fail at something? She worked hard as an older sister but it did not go well, so she thought Gahel would get angry at her.

Ah—Onee-sama is sometimes really an idiot...

”U, a—Nee, sama—look—I—became strong...?”

Toward such a sister Gahel smiled.

It’s all right. I don’t know what happened, but there’s no way I’d get angry at family who worked hard.

More than that I want you to look. I still cannot reach you, the Sacred—but even so the weak boy named Gahel Wayne has disappeared.

You don’t have to worry anymore. You don’t have to protect me while carving yourself away.

(Ah, therefore, please—rely on me.)

Don’t make such a painful face; I want you to smile.

Of course. Where is there a human who is happy when family makes a painful face.

”Kh—I’m sorry, Gahel.”

But Knight shed tears boro-boro from her eyes.

Ah, don’t cry, don’t cry Onee-sama.

The younger brother named Gahel Wayne did not want you to make that kind of face—therefore he wanted to become strong, wanted to grow more than now.

”I wanted to protect you. I blindly believed that was my duty as the only remaining family, as an older sister... but—that was only my self-satisfaction. I cornered you this much—I’m sorry Gahel, I’m sorry—I’m a no-good older sister, I’m sorry.”

——Ah, wrong, that’s wrong.

Those feelings make me happy, they made me happy, it’s not a lie.
