Reborn As Noble

Gloria and the others arrived and pushed the door open.

”Young master~” Gloria skipped in, only to stop. She narrowed her eyes, lips puckering when she noticed Liana adjusting her maid dress.

She narrowed her eyes further and slowly walked toward Javier, then sat on his lap, glancing up at his face while sniffing him lightly near his collar.

”Mou! You were kissing Liana again, weren’t you!?” She shot a brief glare toward Liana before turning her full attention back to Javier.

Javier just rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin. ”Y...yeah...”

”Mou! What about me!!!” Gloria glared and puckered her lips. ”My kissu~”

Javier smiled and leaned down. His lips met hers in a slow, tender kiss.

Gloria melted into it, her earlier annoyance softening into a sigh as she wrapped her arms around his neck, fingers tangling gently in his hair.

”Nya! Husband-sama!” Mimi tried to lean in, but Gloria held her back with one hand, still keeping close to Javier, their breath mingling.

After pulling from the kiss, Gloria leaned and rested her face on his shoulder, a contented smile on her lips.

Felicia just fidgeted, waiting for her turn shyly, while Delya casually walked toward Javier and hugged him from the side.

”Danna-sama~”

Javier looked down at Gloria, who was humming softly against his shoulder.

”How do you know I kissed Liana?”

”Mm? I can smell her scent on your shirt.” Gloria glanced up at him, a knowing smile on her lips.

”Huh? But Liana doesn’t wear any perfume. Right, Liana?” Javier glanced at Liana, who was letting out a soft chuckle.

”Even I, a half-elf know that most elven girls have their own natural fragrance, young master~” Gloria explained with a playful lilt.

”Really?” Javier leaned down and gently sniffed Gloria’s neck. ”Mm... you smell sweet.”

Gloria giggled softly, squirming. ”Mou! Young master! Don’t do that. It tickles... and makes me flustered.”

Javier smiled and looked back at Liana. ”Is it true, Liana?”

”We’ve been together since you were a baby. You never noticed, young master?” Liana shook her head, still smiling.

”Err... I thought it was something special only you had.”

”Mou!” Gloria slapped Javier’s chest hard.

”Ow ow! Don’t hit so hard, Gloria.”

”I’m not wearing perfume! Are you saying your second wife needs artificial scent?”

”Ye... yeah... ehehe...” Javier rubbed the back of his head. ”Because you all take the perfume I made before.”

”It’s because we like it. And besides, getting something special from our future husband? That’s... meaningful to us. It’s not just a scent, it’s a reminder that you thought of us, that you created something just for us. It makes us feel cherished, seen... loved.”

”Nya! Enough of that, Gloria! It’s my turn now!” Mimi tried to slip between them, but Felicia caught her by the collar.

”Who said it’s your turn... hmm?” Felicia glared at her sister.

”Ehhh!!? It’s just a kiss! Why do we have to follow ranks?” Mimi puckered her lips, her tail twitching in protest.

”No... I’m the third wife. I should get the third kiss.” Felicia nudged Mimi aside. Gloria chuckled softly, gave Javier a parting peck on the cheek, and stood up.

Felicia closed her eyes, her expression shy. Javier simply smiled and shook his head fondly.

Outside the hall, Mahira and another maid were approaching.

”I believe Prince Javier is still inside?” Mahira asked quietly.

”Mm... yes. The guards say he hasn’t left the throne room.”

”Very well. We’ll inform him that Lady Francesca is calling for him.”

Mahira pushed the door open gently, only to see Javier kissing each of his fiancées in turn.

”Ah...” she murmured, then quickly closed the door again.

”It seems we’ll need to wait until they’re finished.”

After Javier kissed each of his future wives, he leaned back with a blissful grin.

”Ehehe... I could die happy right now.”

Liana pinched him hard on the chest.

”Ouch! What was that for!?” He tilted his head, confused. Only to find all of them glaring at him.

”Errr... did I say something wrong?”

”You are not allowed to die,” Liana said firmly, her glare unwavering. ”Not before properly marrying all of us, giving us heirs, and growing old together.”

Javier swallowed hard. ”It was just a figure of speech!”

”Still can’t say it!” Gloria pinched him sharply from the side, and the others quickly joined in.

”Ow ow ow! Alright! Sheesh!”

”Now... enough of that, young master.” Liana smiled, straightening his collar.

”Hmm?” Javier glanced at her, then at the others. ”What?”

”Mahira and the others are here,” Gloria said softly.

”Oh? Where?”

”Outside. Waiting.” Liana’s smile was knowing.

”Waiting for what?” Javier looked genuinely puzzled.

”Waiting for you to finish kissing all your future wives~” Gloria leaned in, whispering slyly.

”Eh? They saw that!?”

”Mm-hmm. Now, young master... if you’re ready, I’ll let them know they can enter.” Liana’s tone was gentle but amused.

”Ugh... This is embarrassing. Fine... tell them to come in.”

”As you wish, young master~”

Javier leaned back in his chair, watching Liana glide gracefully toward the door while the others settled nearby.

Mm... after this, things are going to get busy. He glanced at his mana watch.

First, escort Kayra and her daughter back to Tybalt, along with her escort.

Should I use the transport drones? Or maybe bring out the new multi mission mithril warship?

If I use the transport drone, I can’t bring Buddy with me. No way I’m going to leave my Pekko alone, even if this just takes hours.

Yeah... better use that new ship inside my dimensional storage.

Ehehehe... I can be with Buddy and the other Pekko, Liana and the others can join, and it has plenty of room for Kayra and her escort.

Not to mention the new weaponry. New version of anti-air mana gatling guns, mana missile launchers, several types of unmanned mana attack helicopters, battle drones, new ship anti-cannon systems, mana sea-to-air and ground missiles.

Ohoho! My latest masterpiece!

Not only that, I can steer it, use autopilot, or perhaps just use my puppet knights to drive it.

Alright! I’m using it. Besides, it can cruise through the night.

If this new design outperforms the current ironclad destroyers, I’ll phase them out, dismantle the old ones, build these in their place. Ehehehe.

Man... my hands are itching to craft something new. Something straight out of my old world ideas.

But still... I wonder what I should make next?

What should I build?
