The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL]

Too good, alright!

Killian Nox almost salivated at this garlic butter thing and wanted to whack his younger brother, who was smirking at the side.

Obviously that little shit knew of such a good thing and was rubbing it to his face.

But what could he do?

He was going to get to eat it only because of the same guy.

Fine.

Oh but it was not fine for when Luca’s timer beeped and the metal pots were opened, they were surprised to see a totally different colored thing.

”?!”

Multiple heads tilted to the side and the eternal spokesman asked the questions that the older adults had but couldn’t really voice out.

”Brother! Why does it look like that now?!”

”Ah, that! Because when it’s cooked, it’d end up looking like this!” he said as he placed the giant lobster in an even bigger vat of cold water before looking for a large enough serving plate, which Butler Gary surprisingly had in hand.

”Thank you, Butler Gary!”

Now, this should be perfect so that everyone can taste this first one, which he hoped would be good!

The anticipation was crazy because they were so curious about that creature that looked like that, but could change its appearance into something like this.

But then the first twist came, and the sound came with a bit of steam as Luca separated the tail from the body.

The sound echoed in the kitchen, and the onlookers straightened their backs as a unique scent reached their noses.

Then Luca looked up to see people’s widened eyes and just smiled before continuing to twist off the claws where they meet the body.

Twist.

Twist.

And for every twist, the Duke felt like his stomach was going to grumble loudly if not stopped.

But then Luca suddenly did something unusual after seeing the size of the lobster tail.

Ideally, the book said to squeeze it until it cracks along its length, but that won’t be possible given the size of this thing. And so the people gasped as Luca used his spiritual tendrils to squeeze it on behalf of his actual hands.

Crack.

And for all intents and purposes, it wasn’t just the shell that cracked but also Ollie’s world views as he realized why he’d need to get better at controlling his spiritual abilities.

If one needed to use tendrils to eat, then wouldn’t he go hungry? And even if he won at getting the food, wouldn’t he be able to eat less because they’d all be able to eat faster?!

Unthinkable!

And so the little mop clenched a hand against his chest and promised to learn how to do it, but looked over to the side to stare at Kyle, hoping he’d understand his current predicament and plea.

Of course he did. Because the moment Kyle saw Luca doing that, he had a feeling he would have a new exercise.

And what do you know, Luca found that to be so much easier that he also did it to pull the sides of the tail apart to coax the meat out.

It came as one glorious piece that was bigger than his face.

One that he set aside because the next ones he planned to deal with were the claws and the separated knuckles.

Now, the heir was likely not playing fair, but he thought that the less contact his hands had with the food, the better for health and safety.

Well, he told himself that as he broke off the pincers from the claw and wiggled it out with a tendril, some gasped as it shimmied off the meat.

But even more impressive was when the claw was cracked, and an even bigger slab of meat emerged.

”Wow, brother! Did you get everything already?” Asked the excited blonde who was really ready to drool.

”Just a bit more, brother. With the size of this lobster, we should be able to get a bit more from the body!”

And he was right because when the top shell was removed, there were still things on there that could most definitely be eaten.

But this time, Luca avoided the gills and the tomalley because the book had a note that recommends limiting consumption.

However, his efforts weren’t for nothing, as when the body was split up, there was really meat on there for the taking.

Then came the legs, which got him curious because at this size, they would probably give them more meat than in the picture, right?

”!!!”

”There’s even meat from there, son?! What is that, that’s like a gift that keeps on giving!”

By now, Duke Leander had actually gone much closer, practically looming at the table as he was surprised at how Luca’s tendrils weren’t going around attacking those close enough, but also how his control had shocked the experienced people in the room.

To have such finesse and be able to use it to take the meat without bursting it?

His precious son was really the best!

But nothing could’ve prepared their hearts for when Luca took the garlic butter sauce they had prepared and split it into tiny bowls for everyone.

”Here’s salt and pepper to taste and a few lemons here if any of you realize that you’d prefer it like that.”

”Brother, how do we eat it?”

Ollie asked, practically vibrating with anticipation as his body looked forward to this lobster.

But really, instead of forward, his body was taken so aback that if no one was behind him, he would’ve fallen in shock.

For when the first morsel hit his tongue, the blonde’s entire body froze.

His pupils dilated.

His mouth stilled, and his soul felt like it had detached from his body.

A gentle tremble ran down his spine. His knees buckled. He had to clutch the edge of the table like it had just whispered his purpose in life.

The buttery richness melted on contact, coating the sweet, delicate lobster meat with what really had to be liquid gold.

Then came the bright zing of lemon that danced at his mouth like it really belonged there.

It was like a performance, one made so much better by the garlic and the herbs Luca added in there.

And Ollie?

He was the audience.

Front row. No regrets.

In fact, he felt like the earlier life and death situation was justified by this.

But then the horror sank in. He had really disrespected this glorious creature like an uncultured savage!

Gasp.

”Auntie Cece was right!”

”Of course!” Suddenly, the dwarf who had returned to call them over shouted from the door.

”Oh, but what did I get right—” She asked, only stopping because of the scent that now took over from all the smoke she’d been smelling up until she got here.

”Luca, what’s that?!”

”Auntie, it’s the boiled lobster! Here, I saved some for you because I wasn’t sure when you’d return.”

”!!!”

This angelic boy! One whom she had to thank her dear friend for having!

But before she got to eat her share, she realized that everyone was looking at her and at the metallic box she held.

”Ah...this? A lunch box! Luca was nice enough to prepare one for me!” boasted the dwarf who probably shouldn’t have said that.

Because now, a certain father looked like he had lost out big time! They only saw them earlier but didn’t think they’d be used like this! Like a way to pack in his son’s love and care!

Unfair!

And he hadn’t even tasted this soul-draining lobster!
