The Wizard Has A Biochip

That morning, it wasn’t a demonic creature, a cursed ruin, or a failed expedition that was causing trouble.

It was me.

Although no one had gone out of their way to deliberately spread the news, before the day had even progressed very far, practically the entire Tower of Mages of Kar-Dur already seemed to know what had happened.

And, as I learned later, the news had spread like a plague.

An acolyte who had just reached Level Three had defeated Lorgy.

Lorgy Prokel.

A member of the powerful Prokel family.

One of the acolytes who had the highest probability of becoming an official Mage in the shortest possible time.

When the news first appeared, the reaction of most people was simple.

Contempt.

In the Mage World, a difference of just one level could already represent an absurd gap in power. And that was without even mentioning the difference between major stages.

Strength didn’t increase gently or evenly. It exploded.

Some scholars and curious individuals had conducted statistical comparisons between acolytes before. In a normal battle, a Pseudo-Mage was capable of resisting the combined attacks of four or even six ordinary Level Three acolytes.

Now, against a Level Two acolyte? Even a two-digit number might not be enough to bring him down.

The difference was simply ridiculous.

Therefore, when the first rumors reached the ears of the acolytes, most of them didn’t even consider the possibility that it was true.

Naturally, they thought that some enemy of the Prokel family was trying to humiliate them.

An exaggerated story created by someone who wanted to tarnish Lorgy’s reputation.

But then the rumor continued to spread.

And the more it spread, the more details emerged.

People no one knew began claiming that they had witnessed the battle.

Then, relatively famous acolytes among the elite circles began confirming the story.

Some solemnly swore that it was true.

That was when the situation exploded.

A true storm erupted among the acolytes of the Tower of Mages of Kar-Dur.

Level One, Two, and Three acolytes began running from place to place, searching for information. Conversations sprang up in the corridors, study rooms, dining halls, and even the commercial areas.

— Did you hear?

— They say Lorgy was defeated.

— Impossible.

— It was a one-on-one fight.

— By whom?

That was the question everyone eventually asked.

And all the information pointed to the same name.

George.

Little by little, more details about me began to be dug up.

When I arrived at the Underground Cave, I was only a Level Two acolyte.

During my first trip to the Underground World, I fought a Level Three acolyte who controlled magic related to the bones of marine creatures. I also managed to eliminate my first outlaw acolyte.

After that, when I was invited to participate in a training camp, I defeated two elite acolytes.

Individually, each of these stories could have seemed like a coincidence.

But when put together?

The situation seemed completely different.

Obviously, this left many acolytes perplexed.

How could that be possible?

Everyone knew very well the limitations of someone who had just entered Level Three.

At that stage, an ordinary acolyte generally mastered only two or three offensive spells. The more talented ones might possess a defensive spell and several other spells earlier than expected, but that was uncommon.

Most needed to fight, train, and accumulate experience for a long time before mastering their first reliable defensive magic.

Comparing a newly promoted Level Three acolyte with someone who had remained at that stage for years was almost unfair.

It was like comparing a child to a young adult.

Experience, knowledge, and skilled techniques could reduce some differences.

But they couldn’t completely erase an absolute gap in power.

However, it didn’t take long for an explanation to emerge.

George was a Golem Controller.

An extremely talented Golem Controller.

According to the rumors, I possessed an unusual ability to overcome the natural limitations of my own level and control magical Golems far more powerful than should have been possible.

When this explanation began circulating, something curious happened.

The few Golem Controllers among the acolytes began to feel proud.

Some started walking with their backs a little straighter.

Others spoke with greater confidence.

After all, apparently, one of their own had just created a true storm within the Tower of Mages.

Ruby, Raticati, and I were once again on our way toward the depths of the Underground Cave.

We followed the route I had discovered during my previous journey, stealthily advancing toward the ruins of the ancient city of DarkGem, where the abandoned tower was located.

My objective remained the same.

Find the hidden source.

And survive the Demon Mosquito.

To be completely honest with myself, I wasn’t absolutely confident in my own plans.

I had devised several strategies.

But there was one small problem.

My enemy possessed strength equivalent to that of a Mage.

Faced with such an absurd difference, there was no guarantee whatsoever that a carefully prepared strategy would work in its entirety.

I was riding on the back of the Shark together with Ruby.

Along the way, we repeated our tasks several times.

I needed to make sure that neither of them would make a mistake.

— Let’s review this again.

— I’ll attract its attention.

— Meanwhile, you two enter the ruins.

My voice became more serious.

— The main objective isn’t to fight.

— Find that thing’s true form.

I nodded.

That was the most important point of the entire plan.

The body we had fought previously wasn’t its true form.

It was merely a manifestation.

As long as the connection between that creature and its true form remained intact, I would be fighting something that could keep returning.

Even if I sacrificed all my Golems, I might not be able to inflict enough damage.

But if Ruby and Raticati found the creature’s true form and managed to sever its magical connection... Then I would have an opportunity.

— As soon as it moves away from the entrance, you two move.

I looked at Ruby and then at Raticati.

—I don’t know how long I can keep it occupied.

—Relax, my little George. Everything will be fine.

As soon as I heard Ruby playing around, I grabbed her from behind—after all, she was right in front of me—and licked her white neck while playing with her beautiful, big right breast.

—George... uhh~~

Ruby trembled and let out a little moan.

—When we’re done here, I’m going to fill your womb with lots of white cum, and I want to fuck you until my dick starts to hurt.

Ruby looked back and met my gaze... Then she licked her lips like a dirty slut, which really made me almost lose control and try to rip off the red dress Ruby was wearing.

However, I managed to control myself, because I noticed that the environment we were entering had changed.

The Satyrs that used to patrol the perimeter of the ruins had disappeared.

I had prepared part of the strategy to clear out the external enemies before beginning the main battle.

But apparently, fear had solved that problem for me.

When the Shark finally approached the Dark Forest, Ruby and Raticati fell silent.

I immediately understood why.

We were deep below the surface.

Almost thirty kilometers underground.

And yet, before us was abundant and wild vegetation.

Ruby kissed me on the lips before standing up, then her slender body leaped from the Shark’s back. For a fraction of a second, she fell.

Then her wings opened.

Ruby disappeared among the trees.

I wasn’t particularly worried about her.

Her strength had increased considerably since her transformation into a Blood Fairy.

Besides, she had her new ability.

Blood Charm.

It was an extremely dangerous ability.

And extremely useful.

As long as Ruby didn’t display hostility, her ability could directly influence the subconscious minds of intelligent creatures, ignoring differences in species, gender, and even certain natural barriers.

In a forest filled with demonic creatures?

It was an almost perfect ability.

Raticati, on the other hand, was dressed in a much less impressive manner.

He wore only leather armor and a black cloak.

And in his hand was the small wooden staff he carried almost all the time.

He looked at me.

— Master.

Raticati bowed respectfully.

— Don’t worry. I’ll do my best to complete my task.

He jumped from the Shark’s back and began walking toward the forest.

Despite the dangers of that place, Raticati had advantages of his own: Invisibility and Camouflage.

When the two finally disappeared from sight, I took a deep breath.

It was time.

With a thought, I dispelled the Shark.

Its enormous body began to disappear.

The spiritual energy used to maintain its existence immediately returned.

For the battle that was about to begin, every point of mana would be important.

I soon took the Golem cores and threw them onto the ground.

The Brilliant Light Giant appeared.

At the same instant, a deep beam of light illuminated the enormous underground space.

A storm of light crackled around its gigantic body.

It opened its eyes.

The light that emerged from them illuminated part of the forest.

Then, almost without hesitation, I threw another Golem core.

And the Black Rock Basilisk slowly slid across the ground, crushing rocks and vegetation.

At that moment, my mana points were dangerously close to the limit.

I could still summon another Basilisk, but I didn’t want to do that now.

I took a deep breath.

— Let’s go.

The Giant advanced.

And I followed behind.

The Snake slowly slithered behind me.

One man.

And two monsters.

We entered the Dark Forest.

I didn’t need to cut through the vines to clear a path.

The Giant did everything.

Its body advanced between the trees while blazing explosions of light incinerated everything around it.

Any plant that came too close was reduced to ashes.

With its strength approaching the peak of a Pseudo-Mage, even creatures known for their resilience had difficulty surviving its attacks.

Meanwhile, right in front of the ruins of the ancient Tower of Mages...

It appeared.

The Demon Mosquito.

Its body gradually emerged in the air.

It stood before the ruins, watching the enormous glowing cloud forming above the forest.

Lightning appeared from time to time, and the thunder of brilliant bolts of light echoed through the surroundings.

Even from a distance, I knew it was impossible to ignore such a spectacle.

It didn’t ignore it either.

The creature’s gaze remained fixed in the direction of the storm.

The intruders were coming.

And if they continued advancing...

They could reach the ruins.

They could threaten what she was protecting.

For several seconds, she seemed to hesitate.

Then she made her decision.

With a movement of her hand, she grasped the air.

A magical bow appeared.

It was a weapon that had been connected to her since birth.

The creature whispered something.

Immediately, the demonized plants around the ruins began to react.

Vines grew.

In just a few moments, thick vegetation completely covered the secret entrance to the ruins.

The next instant, her body disappeared.

And she advanced far too quickly.

The Brilliant Light Giant stopped.

The Rock Snake slowly raised its head and stared at the damned Demon Mosquito.
