The Wizard Has A Biochip

A few days later, aboard the flying ship, I had already used the mana potion that Linex had given me.

The effect had been astonishing.

Now, my mana attributes had reached 8.2 points.

That mana potion Linex had given me was truly powerful.

I knew exactly how much something like that would be worth on the market, but I was certain that it was not something an ordinary acolyte could easily get their hands on.

Besides, after spending several days inside that flying ship...

The journey had become extremely monotonous.

At first, watching the world below had been refreshing.

But, after hours and hours of watching the scenery...

That had also lost its charm.

Some acolytes simply lay down on the deck, putting their hands behind their heads while looking at the blue sky above.

I couldn’t blame them.

The journey was long.

And boring.

Fortunately, Ruby was with me.

So, at least for me, that journey was far from unpleasant.

In fact...

It felt almost like a honeymoon; my cock exploded more than ten times in Ruby’s mouth, pussy, and ass. Fortunately, Ruby wasn’t my enemy because with that damned enchantment spell, she could have truly wreaked havoc on my life had she wished to do so.

And that’s why I decided to get a better grip on my mind and be extra careful when I’m with Ruby.

Ruby spent a good deal of time by my side, when we weren’t having depraved, angry sex.

Sometimes we talked, while other times we simply stayed together in silence, watching the clouds below the ship.

At certain moments, she would rest her head on my shoulder, and it was a strangely pleasant feeling.

I had never imagined that a journey on a flying ship could be so peaceful.

A few days later...

The flying ship finally began to lower its altitude.

The wind passing across the deck changed in intensity, and little by little, the landscape below began to draw closer.

It was then that I saw our destination.

And I was surprised.

The location of our mission was, in fact, a small city.

It did not seem particularly impressive at first glance, but there was a rather obvious reason for its existence.

Its location was extremely close to the Underground Cave of the Kar-Dur Tower.

From time to time, rare resources were found in the depths of that gigantic underground system.

Materials that could be used in the manufacture of potions, artifacts, and various other magical objects.

Naturally, whenever something rare appeared...

Merchants appeared soon after.

Magical markets had been established in that region and, considering all of this, after thinking about it for a while, I didn’t find it so strange to see a considerable number of commercial establishments around the city.

The ship finally landed in a large square located outside the walls.

As soon as the platform stabilized, I noticed that someone was waiting for us.

It was a man.

He was dressed in rogue’s attire, with two gleaming silver daggers at his waist.

His face wore an indifferent expression, but there was something about him that immediately caught my attention.

Blood.

There was a blood-red aura around him, completely different from Ruby’s aura.

My Biochip confirmed what my perception had already identified.

[Mana Level: Level 3.]

It wasn’t particularly impressive.

But his expression said otherwise.

The man watched the five people who began to descend from the ship.

A strange smile appeared on his face.

It was a smile of contempt.

It was as if an experienced veteran were observing a group of rookies who had just arrived on the battlefield.

However, as soon as the official Mage who had piloted the flying ship appeared...

That entire expression disappeared.

The man immediately straightened his body and bowed respectfully.

— All right, no problem!

—Let’s skip the dialogue.

—This group of acolytes is for you.

—It’s better to use them carefully.

—The next batch should arrive within a few months.

—If you kill them all in a short time, it will cause problems.

The man who had piloted the ship was, finally, a figure I had barely seen throughout the entire journey.

The official Mage simply waved his hand, as if handing over a package.

Or, to be more precise...

As if shooing chickens off the ship.

The Level 3 acolyte who had come to receive us immediately replied.

— Don’t worry, Great Mage Pumpo.

—The activities of the outlaw mages in the underground world have been quite calm lately.

—At least in this part of the continent.

—It’s been more than two weeks since our patrol team encountered any of those degenerate bastards.

He smiled.

— Ah, besides that, Great Mage Pumpo, the Dark Gem and Lutines Potion items you ordered have already been prepared and are waiting for you.

So that was the name of the mage who had led our journey.

Pumpo.

Throughout the entire journey, we had practically no contact with him.

He had remained inside the captain’s cabin almost the entire time.

Pumpo looked at the man.

— Go ahead and accommodate these new acolytes.

—I’ll take a trip to the city.

—After you’re finished with them, meet me in New Worp.

Without waiting for a response, Pumpo simply began to walk away.

We, by reflex, bowed.

Only that acolyte remained standing.

As soon as Pumpo moved away, he turned toward us.

— All of you. Follow me.

His eyes passed over the five newcomers.

He showed no reaction when observing the Pseudo-Mages.

But when his eyes reached me...

His eyebrow furrowed.

I was only a Level 2 acolyte, in a mission location like this.

— My name is Rustil.

—You can call me Rustil, the Deadly Dagger.

A simple introduction.

However, from the tone of his voice, it was quite clear that he preferred the nickname over his actual name.

Before we could continue, one of the young men let out a laugh.

He wore a short red robe and had several magical artifacts attached to his body.

His aura was much stronger than Rustil’s.

He was one of the Peak Level 3 Pseudo-Mages.

The young man smiled.

— Rustil, the Deadly Dagger?

—Don’t tell me you have a whore of a sister named Sweet Honey-Legs?

The smile disappeared from Rustil’s face.

I remained silent.

Ruby did too.

The atmosphere changed.

The young man apparently noticed it.

But instead of backing down...

He smiled even more.

— Let’s play!

The magical energy around him began to grow.

Buzz...

The atmosphere seemed to vibrate.

He was preparing a spell.

I narrowed my eyes.

— Is he going to attack?

My Biochip began recording the movement of mana.

Rustil simply looked at the young man.

Then he smiled.

He showed his white teeth.

His mana aura vibrated.

It expanded.

And he whispered something.

An incantation.

The next instant...

Rustil disappeared.

Or, at least, that was what all of us saw.

Several acolytes were left open-mouthed.

[Movement analysis.]

[Error.]

[Target position incompatible with visual perception.]

Then...

Rustil appeared behind the Pseudo-Mage.

Each of his hands held a silver dagger.

A green aura surrounded the blades.

I immediately recognized the nature of that energy.

Poison.

But, in the instant before the strike...

Rustil deliberately modified the spell.

The green aura disappeared.

He had removed the poison.

And then he struck.

ZAP!

The dagger struck the Pseudo-Mage’s body.

But that man was no novice.

A Peak Level 3 Pseudo-Mage possessed nearly twenty points of mana.

His senses were extremely developed.

Even the slightest changes around him could be detected.

Despite the initial shock, he reacted.

A series of fire snaps echoed through the air.

CRACK!

CRACK!

A red fire web appeared behind his back.

Rustil seemed to be trapped inside it.

The Pseudo-Mage remained calm.

He turned around.

Two thick fire discharges shot from his palms.

— Die!

But then he hesitated.

I noticed it.

He noticed it too.

This was the first day of the mission.

Rustil was his teammate.

If he actually killed him, he could end up facing trouble.

So he tried to reduce the strength of his own fire Charge.
