Wizard: Scamming a Demon God
Chapter 551: In the Name of [Truth] · Oct 29, 2026

“[Truth]?” Isaac’s pupils constricted slightly. He then nodded slowly and said, “If that’s the case, then there’s no problem.”
[Truth] was another Great Creation by the Great Wizard who had perfected the Arcanist path. Its exact effects remained a mystery, but it possessed an incredibly overpowered ability: any contract signed under the radiance of its power would become an absolute truth in the world, so long as both parties were below the level of a Great Wizard at the time of signing.
And it would remain so until the moment the contract was fulfilled!
A Great Creation that completely defied logic!
Then again… very few Great Creations followed so-called logic. Great Creations *were* logic itself!
Of course, because of its world-shaking power, it was also one of the few Great Creations not open to the public. At least, aside from members of the Truth Association, no one else was known to have used this Great Creation. And rumor had it that even the Truth Association had never used the complete version of [Truth].
Regardless, its power was difficult for mortals to imagine. Thus, when Isaac heard Moens’s words, he was able to put his mind at ease.
‘It makes sense,’ he thought. ‘Even now, I only dare to borrow a tiny bit of power from those damned pieces of shit from the Incomprehensible Pantheon while under the protection of [Miracle]. The Arcanists have a much bigger operation; they’re far more principled than I am.’
After calming down, Isaac looked back at the “Abyss” and narrowed his eyes, a faint light flickering within them.
“Huh?” Isaac’s expression turned to one of surprise when he saw the situation inside.
At that moment, streams of clearly delineated data appeared in Isaac’s vision. It was obvious the Arcanists had adopted a research plan similar to the Deity research group Isaac had previously organized: dividing the labor.
But there was a difference. Isaac’s group called it “dividing the labor,” but in reality, everyone just researched their own thing and then pooled their findings to see who could figure it out. The Arcanists, however, were different. They were *truly* dividing the labor. Each research group was responsible for a different area, and each member within a group had a different task.
Yet all these fragmented research topics could be pieced together in the end to form a remarkably complete research plan.
It was completely different from Isaac’s method, where splitting into several groups just resulted in several different research plans.
‘This is what a proper research team looks like!’
‘Honestly, if the Magic Systems of Arcanists and Legendary Mages weren’t so drastically different, he might have even considered putting together an Arcanist research team himself.’
However, this wasn’t what surprised Isaac. For the current Arcanists, this was just basic procedure. What truly shocked Isaac was the *content* of the research!
Isaac discovered that although Moens had claimed they hadn’t figured anything out, the project’s research was actually nearing its conclusion.
This was because the Magic Moens was using for Creating Planets was not the traditional Four Elements Creation Method. That Magic creates a standard Little World with a flat earth and a domed sky, not a planet.
Moens was using Force Field Magic!
And the various simulated parameters were already extremely close to those of a real planet!
The only reason it was just “close” was entirely due to the special relationship between planets and Star Gods. They didn’t dare rashly start the experiment, worried they might create a God in the process. That would be getting a little out of hand.
But no matter how you looked at it, the progress of this research was astounding. Whether they had completed all this research in the short time since entering Brurel, or had already been conducting related research before arriving, the research capabilities they demonstrated were simply incredible!
The former case went without saying. For such a massive research project to yield results in such a short time was astonishing for any individual or group—it was practically defying the natural order!
The latter case was no less impressive. After all, that would have been research conducted without any sample data. Many things could only be deduced through pure extrapolation. Even for Isaac, who possessed the [Analysis] Authority and excelled at data extrapolation, such research would be incredibly demanding.
Little did Isaac know, however, that he was also greatly surprising Moens at that very moment. Although Moens knew Isaac possessed the [Analysis] Authority, he had no idea it was so powerful!
One must understand that the “Abyss” was their experimental site. Miniature “Star Creation” procedures were conducted within it. Besides the Divine Power Barrier of the incomprehensible Evil God, there were also layers upon layers of Arcane Barriers from their Truth Association. Its defensive capabilities were formidable!
Due to the special nature of this experiment, the defenses here had been stacked to the High Level. It was no exaggeration to say that even if a True God arrived in person, they would be unable to break through these Barriers!
Although these Arcane Barriers were primarily defensive in nature, with their information-shielding function being merely a side effect, oftentimes, once the base values are high enough, many seemingly unimportant mechanisms also receive a massive boost.
Therefore, the fact that Isaac could see through the Barriers at a glance was quite astonishing to Moens. Most importantly, Isaac seemed to understand their experiment!
Keep in mind that Legendary Mages and Arcanists belonged to two different Magic Systems with different foundational logic.
‘It’s true what they say: fame is never a fluke. The Mad Witch of legend, who could toy with Outer Gods as if they were mere dogs, really had a few tricks up his sleeve.’
“Follow me. This way is…” Moens quickly came to his senses. While leading Isaac to his own lab, he began to introduce the areas each group was responsible for and the general results they had recently achieved.
Along the way, the more Isaac heard, the more shocked he became!
He once again confirmed his suspicion—the research was at a very high level of completion. It was basically just missing the final push!
Isaac felt both pleasantly surprised and regretful about this. He was surprised because he would soon witness history and even participate in it—the Creation of a planet!
The gains for him would be enormous; he might even be able to develop some powerful Magic based on this data.
As for the regret…
Moens and his team had done too thorough a job. He had arrived too late!
Otherwise, he might have been able to reap the rewards again, just like the Star Mage, and complete another Heroic Deed!
Given the scale of “Star Creation,” a Heroic Deed was practically guaranteed.
‘What a pity… Not only can Arcanists not use Heroic Deeds, they can’t even trigger them. Such a waste…’
‘Huh?’ At this thought, Isaac suddenly froze, his brow furrowing slightly. ‘Would it… really be a waste?’
He had experienced one Heroic Deed and personally completed another. He didn’t feel that the formation of a Heroic Deed had anything to do with his status as a Legendary Mage. It had happened spontaneously, and he had simply received the boons, using a portion of them for his own advancement.
Moreover, he clearly remembered that the guy who created the Law-Breaking Swordsman back then was also an Arcanist, and he had received a boon as well!
So, the question was, Arcanists had made countless inventions over the years, large and small, with many being epoch-making and fully qualifying as Heroic Deeds. Why had one never been triggered within the range of the Main World’s influence?
‘Is it because of… the Truth Association?’
Isaac’s brow twitched. He vaguely sensed he was onto something, but he wasn’t sure. Was this a conspiracy…
…or a normal phenomenon of development…
