Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 1567: Chapter 970: Acting on Heaven’s Behalf, Upholding Celestial Law and Restoring Human Ethics

Jian Guyun pondered for a moment, then finally nodded, ”Very well, the two of you can act on your own, but if we do meet inside, we should take care of each other!”

”Of course, our hearts are still with Hidden Sword Mountain!” Yang Zhenshan declared loyally.

Saying something nice is just a matter of opening one’s mouth, so he naturally didn’t mind saying an extra word.

Of course, as long as there was no conflict of interest, Yang Zhenshan still wanted to maintain a good relationship with Hidden Sword Mountain.

Jian Guyun didn’t stay long in Mianyun Continent. After meeting Yang Zhenshan, he left, while Yang Zhenshan stayed to chat with Yun Xiao, Yun Xi, and Liu Yue for a while.

Liu Yue also wanted to go, but she was self-aware enough to know that if she went, she would likely become cannon fodder, so she could only admire from afar.

”There are just too many factions participating this time; it feels like every power wants a piece of the action!” Yun Xiao said worriedly.

Yang Zhenshan said nonchalantly, ”It’s quite normal; the allure of the Sun Cave Heaven is too great, and any Foundation Establishment Cultivator aspiring to the Golden Core Path can’t help but feel greed.”

Yun Xiao understood this naturally; he was just worried about the recent unrest that had erupted.

It’s not just Hidden Sword Mountain that’s making moves; Cangyu Mountain is also in action, and the Yun Que Clan has gathered many demon beasts in the Yunxiao Mountain Range, preparing to enter the Sun Cave Heaven together.

The Qingli Dynasty is the same way; several Immortal Cultivation Family factions have lost their patience and are heading to Jade Valley.

”By the time it’s over, who knows how many will be involved!” Yun Xiao remarked.

”Why worry so much? We’ll know when we go!”

Yang Zhenshan waved his hand unconcernedly.

Now is absolutely not the time to worry about these matters, and they can’t stop others from going. All they can do is prepare thoroughly to deal with the dangers that might follow.

As for other things, thinking more about it is useless.

...

Jade Valley is located on the edge of the Wanhua Mountain Range, with a First Rank Top Grade Spirit Vein, but it’s not considered a Land of Spiritual Beauty.

It’s just that because it is close to the Wanhua Mountain Range, many cultivators stop here to rest or resupply before entering the Wanhua Mountain Range.

The valley originally had quite a sizable Immortal Cultivator workshop, but now the workshop has become deserted, and the Immortal Cultivators there have long fled.

It’s not that they got advance news of the Sun Cave Heaven falling but because there has been too much unrest around Jade Valley recently, forcing them to leave.

As time draws closer, more and more Immortal Cultivators and demon beasts have appeared in the hundreds of miles surrounding Jade Valley.

Roar~~

A beast’s roar echoed, and a terrifying spiritual power fluctuation suddenly burst forth from the forests to the east of Jade Valley.

Coming right after was a series of explosions, booming like dull thunder echoing for hundreds of miles.

Yet again, conflict arose between the Demon Clan, but who knows which two Demon Clans have erupted in battle again.

”Judging by the fluctuations, it seems that many Demon Clans are involved in the battle!”

In a hidden valley within the forest, Kou Ta gazed toward the east and said softly.

Yang Zhenshan, Yun Xiao, Kou Ta, and Hong Fuxiu had already arrived near Jade Valley.

The time for the cave’s fall hadn’t been confirmed yet, but it was expected to be within the next month or two.

To avoid missing the chance of the cave’s fall, they had to arrive early and wait.

However, after they arrived, they discovered that Jade Valley was already teeming with many Foundation Establishment Immortal Cultivators and demon beasts, along with some Divine Soul Realm Martial Artists.

Originally, they wanted to find a place closer to Jade Valley, but they found that those spots were already occupied.

Without any other choice, they could only seek this inconspicuous valley eighty miles northwest of Jade Valley to stay.

In the confined valley, the four of them dug a cave into the cliffs and used it as a temporary base.

Yang Zhenshan sat cross-legged in serene meditation on a protruding rock from the cliff. Yun Xiao sat at the cave entrance, gently wiping a cloud-white Flying Sword.

Hong Fuxiu, still in her red attire, stood beside Kou Ta, looking toward the east.

The conflict among the Demon Clan in the east hadn’t ended when suddenly, a wave of mana fluctuations erupted from the south. However, those mana waves flashed by and didn’t last long, indicating someone was probing.

Probing like this, who knows how many times it occurs in a day, because no one knows how many people are hidden around Jade Valley right now.

With so many people mingling together, conflicts and disagreements are inevitable.

Although everyone knows now is not the time for fighting, people can’t help but brawl to fight for a better position.

Just as Yang Zhenshan and the others were quietly staying in the valley, suddenly three auras appeared above the valley.

Yang Zhenshan sensed the approach of those three auras and suddenly opened his eyes, exchanging a glance with Yun Xiao.

”May I ask which fellow Daoist resides here? I, Feng Guiyue from Wind Valley, come to pay respect!”

With these words, a Spiritual Sense quietly glanced over. Yang Zhenshan narrowed his eyes, his Spiritual Sense spread out, colliding unceremoniously with the probing sense.

”Scram!”

An angry shout with no emotion rang out, directly dispersing the Spiritual Sense.

In the sky above the valley, Feng Guiyue’s complexion slightly changed, then he cupped his hands in salute, ”I was disrespectful, I hope you can forgive me!”

After speaking, he said nothing more and hurriedly left with his two companions.

What a joke; the Spiritual Sense intensity that Yang Zhenshan just showed far exceeded Feng Guiyue’s. As long as Feng Guiyue wasn’t foolish, he would know these people were not to be trifled with here.
