Dragon Monarch System

“This small lake has been restored to its former state. As long as given time, the small lake will be once again filled with fishes.” Riya said to the villagers. For the villagers, this small lake was their main source of water. The villagers used the lakes’s water for many purposes. The small lake was somewhere around 9 acres. It had taken almost 6 days of intense rain for this lake to be once again filled with water. Using her powers, Riya made it rain right over the lake for 6 days and nights. And now the Lake was filled with water. It wouldn’t be long before life starts returning back to the lake just like how it used to be. “We cannot thank you enough, Lady Riya.” All the villagers bowed their heads to Riya. The villagers have seen everything. Lady Riya has been using her powers to restore the vegetation that had been destroyed. They were immensely grateful to Lady Riya for everything that she had done. “There is no need to thank me.” Riya quickly said. Seeing that the villagers were not raising their heads, Riya gave up. “Alright, I accept your gratitude. Now raise your heads.” All the villagers obeyed her words. “Even if I hadn’t used my powers, this lake would have been filled with water once again with given time.” This was true since this part of the Dying Isle Continent received a lot of rain throughout the whole year. “Even if I hadn’t used my powers, this lake would have been filled with water once again with given time.” This was true since this part of the Dying Isle Continent received a lot of rain throughout the whole year. “If you give enough time, then the fish start living in this lake or your village could just introduce fish from other sources. I suggest that you all introduce fishes from other sources as doing this would be the quickest and also the most effective way of making sure that the lake is filled with fish once again.” Otherwise, the process will be too long. The eggs of some fishes will be unknowingly carried by some bird species. But since not even 1/10th of the entire vegetation hasn’t been restored yet, there were no birds living in this area. Some eggs also may be transported along with aquatic plants. But all water sources have been dried up. And there were no aquatic plants as there were no water sources. “Understood…..!!” The village leader firmly nodded his head. The fishes were a very important part of their family. The entire ecosystem has been destroyed. If they do not take some matters into their own hands, then it will take a very long time for the ecosystem to restore itself naturally. 19:53

“Don’t worry, I have blessed this lake. My blessing will make sure that the lake’s water always remains very pure. Drinking this lake’s water will give you all resistance against weak curses and illness. Fishes and plants and other organisms in this lake will grow slightly bit faster and will be very healthy.”

“Lady Riya, our village cannot thank you enough.” The village leader fell to his knees and lowered his head to express his gratitude on behalf of everyone. But seeing the village leader, everyone else also went to their knees and lowered their heads. “It’s okay. Please stand up…..!!” Within the last week, Riya has restored a part of the forest surrounding this village. She has restored their cultivation fields. In a few more days, their crops should be ready for harvest. This way, the villagers will have a source of food or they could use the harvest to earn cash to buy other commodities. While all of this was happening, from a distance 9 carriages were approaching. The carriages were following this road which would lead them to the Azure City. Each of the carriages was very luxurious. In the middle, there was an extra large red carriage. There were four carriages in front of the red carriage and four behind it. All of these carriages around the Red carriage were filled with troops. From within the Red carriage, two figures were looking outside. Their eyes were filled with curiosity and a slight bit of disdain. “I have heard that this whole place used to be covered in vegetation. But the Emperor’s battle with the 9-headed Hydra had destroyed everything.” The Prime Minister, Eldric Wystan explained. “But I can still see vegetation in the distance.” The Crown Prince, Garrick Flameheart responded. “Oh….!! This might have been done by the Goddess of Nature. After all, she is officially engaged to the Emperor.” Eldric explained in a neutral tone. “Are you talking about the Silver-haired woman that is standing around 500 meters away from here?” Asked Garrick while staring at Riya. Garrick could see that Riya was talking to the villagers. The Prime Minister looked in the direction that the Crown Prince was talking about and confirmed that it was indeed the Goddess of Nature. “Yes, it seems she is here,” Eldric said in a neutral tone. “Should we stop to greet her? After all, she is the Next Empress of the Celestial Terrain and also the Queen of the Istarin Emperor.” The Prime Minister Eldric asked the crown Prince. The Crown Prince stared at Riya for a few seconds before shaking his head. “No need. We are not here for the Goddess. Greeting her won’t give us any sort of benefit as in the end she would listen to the Emperor. If she wasn’t engaged then maybe it would have been worth it to approach her.” The Prime Minister nodded his head hearing this. Around two and half years back, The Dune Sovereignty showed interest in the Goddess of Nature. The Dune Sovereignty personally wrote a letter to the Empress of the Celestial Terrain asking for Riya’s hand in marriage. Having the Goddess of Nature in their Empire was going to bring a ton of benefits. But from the beginning, the Celestial Terrain wasn’t interested. The Empress was very overprotective of her daughter. The Empress made it clear that Riya would only marry someone from her race. But two years later, Riya ended up being engaged to the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. This whole thing felt like a slap to the face of the Emperor and the Crown Prince. Because of this reason, the Emperor and the Crown Prince kind of held a grudge against the Celestial Terrain, the Empress, and the Goddess. The Dune Sovereignty would have attacked the Celestial Terrain if the Empire did not have any connections to the Main Continent. The Celestial Terrain had a lot of connections even in the Main Continent. The consequences would have been troublesome. So the Emperor decided to slowly increase their military powers before pressuring the Celestial Terrain. But unexpectedly the Goddess was engaged to the Istarin Emperor. As the 9 carriages passed by Riya and the villagers, everyone became curious about the people sitting inside the carriages. “I wonder who are they?”

“Idiot, can’t you recognize the flag?” “I don’t recognize this flag.”

“This is the flag of The Dune Sovereignty. I guess someone very important from The Dune Sovereignty is here to meet His Majesty.” Meanwhile, Riya slightly frowned. Unlike the villagers, she felt the presence of 8 Peak 5th-order cultivators. Bringing 8 Peak 5th-order cultivators was definitely a sign of aggression. It would have been understandable if they had brought 2 to 3 Peak 5th-order cultivators to show their powers and strength but bringing 8 Peak 5th-order cultivators was way too much. It was definitely a sign of aggression and disrespect to the Istarin Empire. After all, Peak 5th-order cultivators were like bringing nuclear weapons to another nation without any permission.

Aditya wouldn’t even allow a close ally of the Istarin Empire to bring this many Peak 5th-order cultivators. ‘I guess another war is coming….!!’ Riya thought in her mind. She wasn’t worried about their presence. Even if the Crown Prince brought 100 Peak 5th-order, Aditya still could deal with them. –

Scene change_______

“Your Majesty, they were here…..!!” Spencer informed Aditya. “They are here with 8 Peak 5th-order cultivators…..” “I know!” Aditya could sense their presence. Those cultivators were doing nothing to hide their Auras. It was clearly a bold move. The Dune Sovereignty wants to flex its military might. “What should we do?” Spencer hesitantly asked. Depending on how Aditya approached the situation, the future of the Empire will be decided. If he also responded with aggressiveness then it would be a war. “Spencer, where is Amber these days?” Aditya asked with a smile. His face said that he was planning something. “General Amber is training her division’s troops. She hasn’t left the Capital in a long time.” Spencer replied back. “Perfect. Tell her to meet me at the Southern Entrance of the Azure City.” “Let’s give our guest a grand welcome.” Saying that Aditya disappeared. Spencer was left confused. He also secretly hoped that the situation wouldn’t escalate. Otherwise, he would need to postpone his very important day. He would need to re-plan everything. —————-
