This High Martial World is Too Crazy!!!

Chapter 166: Chapter 165: Gourmet

’I hope Lord Fang Can will be alright in the end.’ Lu Ziyi sighed to herself, worried whether the Fourth Turn could truly protect him.

After all, there was a high probability that they would occupy the entire top 100 of the next Rising Dragon List. In that situation, it would be impossible to remain hidden.

When the time came, the Celestial Secret List would be filled with a uniform roster: ”Fang Can’s Disciples/Women.” It was a classic tale of hidden gems rising to become legends. Even the Fourth Turn backing Fang Can would surely feel the pressure.

Sighing softly, Lu Ziyi walked back toward the manor along the path. As she reached the courtyard, she saw a believer piously scooping up the top layer of dirt, then filling the hole with new soil and tamping it down.

”Excuse me, what are you doing?” Lu Ziyi asked subconsciously.

The believer kneeling on the ground turned his head. Seeing the young woman in her flowing dress, he smiled. ”Ah, it’s Miss Lu. I’m collecting footprints.”

”Huh?” Lu Ziyi subconsciously took a step back, then asked curiously, ”What footprints?”

”The god’s footprints, of course.” The believer’s eyes shone with piety as he knelt. ”This patch of earth was fortunate enough to be trodden upon by the god. It has become a sacred object, and I must collect it with care.”

”This...” A strange expression came over Lu Ziyi’s face. ’This believer in front of me is a bit of a freak,’ she thought.

”I truly envy you, Miss Lu,” the believer sighed. ”You get to serve the god. If I could have his foot step on my face, it would be a blessing I’ve earned through ten lifetimes of piety.”

”Umm...” Lu Ziyi had been about to scoff at him in her mind.

But then an image flashed through her mind: Fang Can, with his white hair and red eyes, his fair, perfect feet bare, an expression of disgust on his face as he was forced to step on *her* face.

Just thinking about it made her breathing grow heavier and her cheeks flush.

After saying goodbye to the footprint-collecting believer, Lu Ziyi took a side path back to the main hall.

Inside, a flock of chattering young women were gathered, chatting with one another with gentle expressions. No matter what they were truly thinking, they couldn’t let any conflict show on their faces.

The thought of being scorned by Fang Can for acting spoiled and willful, and thus never getting to eat his delicious food again, was enough to make them not dare to act out of line.

”Hey, I’ve discovered one of Lord Fang Can’s sensitive spots!”

Met with the others’ curious gazes, a cute, petite girl announced excitedly, ”Lord Fang Can’s sensitive spot is actually his waist.”

”This morning, my hand accidentally rested on his waist, and when I pressed down gently, his body tensed up reflexively.”

The girl covered her blushing face and said, ”You can all try it tomorrow. His Lordship is a bit sensitive there, but he won’t refuse if you rest a hand on him.”

’So his waist is a sensitive spot? Ah, so that’s it!’ They all got it!

The women all looked thoughtful and decided to give it a proper try tomorrow. There truly was strength in numbers.

”That’s nothing...” a girl huffed proudly. ”I’ve even tasted Lord Fang Can’s exquisite feet.”

WHAT!!!

The moment she spoke, everyone stared at her in utter shock. Then, someone recognized who she was.

She was a Heart Image Martial Artist and a believer in Fang Can. She hadn’t been slipped in by someone with ulterior motives; she had been chosen fair and square based on her own looks and martial prowess.

’Oh, she’s one of Lord Fang Can’s believers. That explains everything.’

Looking at the woman in front of her, Lu Ziyi couldn’t help but think of the Martial Artist from earlier who had been collecting Fang Can’s footprints.
