Civilization Chronicles: Rise of the Divine Creator

Getting into a combat stance, Celestina took a deep breath to focus herself before thrusting out her fist, kicking up a blast of wind as she did so.

Fortunately, although this was a tailor shop, the dressing room was currently quite empty as for the past 20 days, Isaac, Felicity, and all the staff had been frantically working on Lucas’ initial order, leaving only a few spare outfits and pieces of equipment lying around.

After the first punch, Celestina re-set herself and began executing a series of close-quarter combat maneuvers that was a combination of her own techniques and those she had only learned from Lucas over the past few months.

Her movements were both sharp and purposeful, refined and modified to perfectly suit Celestina’s body and strength by both the scientific methodology of the other universe and her own centuries of fighting experience.

It was a masterful display of speed, strength, and precision that was so intense and overwhelming that even the fact that Celestina was practically naked could not distract from.

Eris and Christina watched studiously, doing their best to learn from their Master’s movements while Felicity simply gasped in awe at the deadly grace of the woman who had just moments ago been comforting her like a gentle mother.

Ending with a high spinning kick capable of shattering giant boulders, Celestina let out a slow breath and relaxed her stance.

She was neither winded, nor sweating, having barely expended any of her deep reserve of Internal Qi, but while she had held back enough to ensure the building around her didn’t collapse, Celestina had still really put her new battle-armour to the test.

Unsurprisingly, though, when she walked over and examined herself in the mirror again, Celestina found that not a single thread had snapped on either piece. What’s more, when she was executing her movements just now, not once had anything chaffed, slipped out of place, or really felt uncomfortable at all.

Had there been a bit of ’sway’? Yes, there was, but that was only to be expected when executing such movements. Besides, once Celestina equipped her real armour, the amount of excess motion would likely decrease even further.

In other words, this bra and panty set achieved something that previously was only possible using extremely tight bindings. However, unlike those rigid pieces that were like coarse ropes digging into her flesh, Celestina found the smooth, breathable fabric cradling her most intimate places to be as natural as if she was wearing nothing at all while somehow simultaneously being snugly supported in all the right places.

It was about as close to perfect as she could imagine underwear being.

Smiling wryly, Celestina reluctantly muttered aloud, ”Seems like I own that stupid Disciple-of-mine an apology. These may be ridiculously expensive, but I know more than a few women who are going to be lining up to buy as many sets as they possibly can in the near future.”

”Ridiculously expensive?” Eris tilted her head curiously as she examined the small pieces of fabric covering her still developing body again, ”How expensive could these be?”

Christina, on the other hand, after witnessing Celestina’s intense actions just now, had an inkling about what her Master meant.

Clearly, whatever these undergarments were made from was not ordinary cloth.

Still, when she heard the exact figures from her Master, Christina’s jaw dropped.

All of a sudden, the soft, light fabric hugging her chest felt like it was made from pure gold. In fact, even if it was made from pure gold, it still wouldn’t be that expensive!

”Um... that’s not... entirely accurate...” Felicity hesitantly spoke up from the side, ”S-Since the garments you’re wearing are p-prototypes, we... we wasted a lot more time and material on them than necessary to get everything right.”

”Hmm, I suppose that makes sense,” Celestina acknowledged, before pointing out, ”But even if that’s the case, the material cost alone makes it impossible for these to be cheap.”

”Y-Yes, but...” Felicity stuttered, ”but Boss Lucas planned f-for us to make two different c-c-categories of these. O-One made of h-high end materials for a-active Cultivators, another from more... more c-common materials for e-everyone else.”

Christina and Celestina found themselves nodding along, thinking this was a smart idea, not that they expected Lucas to have bad ideas when it came to making money.

”Hmm... so, it’d be like having Spirit Grade underwear and Mortal Grade underwear?” Eris summed up the whole idea rather neatly.

Felicity nodded in response, finding the comparison quite apt, ”I-In fact, only Lady Balfour’s set i-is made from Tier 2 Spirit Materials, Lady Eris and Lady Christina’s sets are only made from Tier 1 Spirit Materials, s-so they are already much less e-expensive.”

Hearing that Lucas had used cheaper materials for their clothes didn’t make Eris and Christina upset, if anything it allowed them to breath a little easier. The two of them were still growing, so although these items were quite elastic, it likely wouldn’t be long before they needed to replace them with bigger sizes.

Discarding or giving away something made of Tier 1 Spirit Materials felt much less wasteful than if they were made from Tier 2 materials.

Feeling like they had tested out Lucas’ ’gifts’ enough for today, the Master and her two Disciples began reaching for the hooks on their backs, intending to take them off, but Felicity quickly stopped them by waving her hands frantically, stuttering quite severely, ”W-W-W-Wait!”

”Hm? Is there something else?” Celestina asked on behalf of the group.

”Um... um... um...” Felicity’s eyes swam, seemingly unsure what to do next.

There was indeed something else, a big something else, but she wasn’t the one who was supposed to reveal it.

However, given the circumstance, namely that Lucas was unconscious and unlikely to wake up anytime soon, Felicity wondered if she should go ahead with the big reveal or leave it for another day.

The young woman waffled back and forth, unable to decide for quite some time, but in the end, it was her own curiosity that won out.

Celestina, Christina, and even Eris all looked wonderful in the new undergarments, so how would they look when fully dressed up in the ’other’ pieces?

As a designer and craftswoman, Felicity wanted to know. She really, really wanted to know.

And so, having made up her mind, the young woman declared loudly, ”Please wait here a m-moment!”

Saying so, she dashed out of the fitting room.
