Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 422: Chapter : 422 : The Cursed One!

In the cold, shadowed alley, the mysterious cloaked figure knelt silently beside Aiden’s motionless body.

The black hood hid the face completely as the figure bowed their head, pale hands clasped together in quiet prayer. Shoulders trembled slightly. There was no excitement in their posture, no thrill of victory — only deep, crushing regret that seemed to weigh on them like centuries of accumulated sorrow.

”...May your soul find peace in the next life,” the figure whispered, voice soft and broken. ”I did not wish for this. I never do. Forgive me... another innocent life taken by this cursed touch.”

The figure remained there for a long moment, the silence of the alley pressing down like a tomb. Then, with a heavy sigh that carried the exhaustion of more than a hundred years, they rose slowly to their feet. Their black cloak swayed as they turned away, ready to disappear back into the shadows from which they had come.

Behind them, a faint sound broke the stillness.

A soft inhale.

Then the unmistakable rustle of fabric as someone stood up.

The cloaked figure froze mid-step. Their entire body tensed.

*Impossible...*

They slowly looked back over their shoulder.

Aiden Nightshade was standing.

His blue eyes were open, sharp and alive. Dust and dirt clung to his crimson uniform, but his posture was steady, radiating that same unshakable confidence. He took one deliberate step forward, then another, walking toward them with calm, predatory intent.

The figure’s hidden eyes widened in pure shock beneath the hood. Their breath caught sharply.

*How...? He was dead. I felt his life force vanish completely. No one has ever survived my touch. Not once in over a century... What kind of human is he? What cruel joke are the gods playing on me now?*

Panic surged through them. They turned fully and tried to run, cloak billowing behind as they bolted down the dark alley.

Aiden moved like lightning.

He leapt forward, closing the distance in a single powerful bound. His hand grabbed the figure from behind. The momentum sent them both crashing to the ground. Aiden twisted mid-fall, landing on top, knees planted on either side of their hips, hands pinning their wrists firmly beside their head.

He hovered above her, breathing steady, blue eyes burning with intensity as he looked down.

The hood had slipped off during the fall.

Long, flowing white hair spilled across the dirty cobblestones like liquid moonlight. Delicate bangs covering her eyes,

— widened in panic — framed a breathtakingly beautiful face — porcelain-smooth skin, full lips parted in shock, and elegant black earrings dangling from her ears. Her expression was one of pure disbelief and fear.

Aiden’s breath caught.

The woman beneath him stared up at him in absolute panic, heart hammering wildly in her chest.

*This can’t be happening. He survived. He touched me — I touched him — and he’s still alive. How? Why? My curse has taken everyone I’ve ever cared about... lovers, friends, family... all gone because of this damned power. And now this man... No, this is wrong. I need to escape. If I stay, I’ll only just bring him more pain. I always do.*

She struggled beneath him, trying desperately to free her wrists, but Aiden’s grip was iron.

Aiden didn’t release her. Instead, driven by an overwhelming surge of attraction and instinct, he leaned down and kissed her.

Their lips met suddenly, deeply, passionately.

Her eyes widened in complete shock. Her body went rigid for a split second.

*My... first kiss... He took it. Just like that. His lips are so warm... so demanding... This can’t be real. No one should be able to touch me. No one should want to. Why does this feel so good? Why does my heart feel like it’s going to explode? I need to push him away... before I hurt him again...*

But her resistance melted almost instantly. A soft, involuntary moan escaped into Aiden’s mouth as she tentatively kissed him back, overwhelmed by sensations she had denied herself for over a century.

Aiden kissed her harder, hands still pinning her wrists. His tongue traced her lower lip, demanding entrance. When she parted her lips with a shaky breath, he deepened the kiss, claiming her mouth with dominant hunger.

Her mind spun wildly.

*He’s... such a good kisser... It feels too good... My body is reacting on its own. I should be terrified. I should be running. But I don’t want him to stop... This is dangerous. This is impossible. He should be dead. Why isn’t he dead? What kind of being is he?*

After several long, heated moments, Aiden’s grip on her wrists loosened slightly.

Her survival instincts finally snapped back into action. With a surge of panicked strength, she pushed against his chest and slid out from under him, scrambling backward on her hips until she put some distance between them.

She sat there on the cold ground, breathing heavily, lips glistening from the kiss, a single trail of tear slipping down her porcelain cheek from the overwhelming storm of emotions.

Aiden sat up slowly, looking at her with intense blue eyes.

”You’re beautiful,” he said, voice sincere and low.

Her eyes trembled. Fresh panic flooded her. She quickly pulled her hood back up with shaking hands, hiding her face once more.

*No... I can’t let this happen. He survived once, but if I stay... I’ll kill him eventually. I always do. I can’t bear another death on my conscience. Especially not his.*

Without another word, she turned and ran deeper into the darkness of the alley, cloak billowing behind her, silent tears falling as she disappeared into the shadows.

Aiden reached out instinctively.

”Wait!” he called after her. ”Tell me your name!”

But she didn’t stop.

Her footsteps faded quickly into the night, leaving Aiden alone in the alley with only the echo of her departure and the lingering taste of her lips on his.

Aiden remained kneeling in the cold alley for a long moment, staring into the darkness where the cloaked woman had vanished.

He let out a slow, deep sigh and pushed himself to his feet, brushing dust from his crimson uniform. His blue eyes remained fixed on the shadows ahead, a mix of curiosity, desire, and determination burning within them.

”Lunara...” he called softly.

Her voice answered immediately inside his head — breathless, shaky, and still heavy with the afterglow of their heated encounter in the void.

---

[Yes... Master...?]

---

Aiden’s lips curved into a faint smirk at her flustered tone, but his expression quickly grew serious again.

”You know anything about her?” he asked, voice low.

Lunara took a moment to compose herself, her breathing still uneven.

---

[She is known as the Witch of Death...] Lunara replied, her voice gradually steadying. [Born over a century ago. A tragic figure. Anyone she touches with her bare skin dies instantly. Her curse is absolute — no exceptions... until you.]

---

Aiden stared into the darkness where she had fled, murmuring to himself.

”Anyone, huh...? Then how the hell didn’t I die again?”

Lunara’s tone softened with a hint of pride.

---

[Because I neutralized her magic the moment it tried to claim you, Master. I used the full power of the System to counter it. Not only did I bring you back... but I’ve also granted you the ability to nullify her instant-death curse. You are now immune to her touch.]

---

Aiden’s eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

”You know her name?” he asked.

There was a brief pause.

[Sorry, Master... I don’t,] Lunara admitted, sounding genuinely regretful. [No one does. Not anymore. Those who learned her true name in the past... didn’t live long enough to speak it again.]

Aiden stood silently for a long moment, processing everything. The alley felt colder now, the weight of the mysterious woman’s sorrow still lingering in the air like a ghost.

He clenched his fist once, then relaxed it.

”Interesting...” he muttered, a dangerous glint returning to his blue eyes. ”Very interesting.”

Lunara’s voice grew softer, almost cautious.

---

[Master... she seemed different from most assassins. There was real regret in her voice when she touched you. She didn’t enjoy it. This curse... it’s destroying her from the inside.]

---

Aiden turned and began walking out of the alley, his steps steady and purposeful once more.

”Then I’ll just have to find her again,” he said quietly, a possessive edge creeping into his tone. ”No one kissed by me gets to disappear so easily.”

Lunara let out a soft, amused breath in his mind.

---

[Of course you’d say that... Only you would survive a death curse and immediately want to chase the woman who tried to kill you. You really are something else, Master.]

---

Aiden’s smirk returned as he stepped back into the brighter streets, the memory of those striking face and porcelain skin burning vividly in his mind.

He adjusted his crimson uniform casually and began walking toward the Nightshade residence, hands slipping back into his pockets.

The memory of the cloaked woman still lingered in his mind, but so did the heated encounter in the void.

”Lunara,” he said internally, voice low and amused. ”You still there?”

---

[Always, Master...] Lunara replied, her voice still slightly breathless and husky. [How could I not be after what you just did to me?]

---

Aiden’s lips curved into a smug smirk as he continued walking.

”Felt good, didn’t it?” he teased.

Lunara let out a soft, needy moan in his head.

---

[Good...? Master, that was incredible. The way you pinned me down, fingered my virgin pussy so roughly, sucked on my tits until I was shaking... I’ve never felt anything like that before. I loved every second of it. The way you claimed me in the void... it made me realize how badly I want a real body.]

---

She paused, her tone turning almost desperate with longing.

---

[More than ever, Master. I want to feel your hands on me for real. I want to wrap my legs around you, feel you inside me, moan your name without this empty void between us. I want you to fuck me properly... to break me like you do with your wives. Please... get stronger faster. I need a body. I need you to ruin me.]

---

Aiden chuckled darkly, his blue eyes gleaming with amusement as he walked through the streets.

”Greedy little system, aren’t you?” he teased. ”One session in the void and you’re already begging to be fucked in the real world. What happened to my composed system assistant?”

---

Lunara whimpered playfully in his mind.

---

[She got a taste of her Master’s fingers and mouth and lost all composure. It’s your fault for being so good at it... Now I can’t stop thinking about how your cock would feel stretching me open. How you’d pin me down and fill me up until I’m screaming your name... I want it so badly, Master.]

---

Aiden’s smirk widened as he turned a corner, the Nightshade residence coming into view in the distance.

”Keep talking like that and I might have to find a way to give you a body sooner than planned,” he replied teasingly. ”But only if you behave... or maybe even if you don’t. I do enjoy breaking needy girls.”

Lunara moaned again, clearly enjoying the teasing.

---

[Then I’ll be as needy as you want... Just promise you’ll fuck me senseless when the time comes.]

---

Aiden laughed softly under his breath, continuing his walk home with a satisfied grin.
