Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 202: Chapter : 202 : Trials Of The Bonded!

The air was still.

Too still.

”Master?” Luna called instinctively.

Her voice echoed, swallowed by the trees.

Her ears flattened.

”Master...?” She whispered again, softer now.

A sound came from ahead.

Footsteps.

Her heart leapt.

She broke into a run.

Branches blurred past her as she tore through the forest, paws light, breath sharp. She didn’t think. She didn’t plan.

She ran.

”Master!” She shouted.

Ahead—between the trees—she saw him.

Aiden.

Back turned.

Walking away.

Relief hit her so hard it almost hurt.

”MASTER!” Luna sprinted faster. ”Wait! Don’t go! I’m here!”

He didn’t turn.

Didn’t slow.

Didn’t answer.

Panic surged.

She pushed harder.

Her legs felt heavy.

The ground sloped upward, roots snagging at her boots. Her tail lashed behind her.

”Master—please—!” Her voice cracked.

”Wait for me!”

She reached out.

Her fingers brushed air.

He was always just out of reach.

No matter how fast she ran, the distance never closed.

Her chest tightened.

Why wasn’t he answering?

Why wasn’t he turning around?

A whisper slid through the trees.

Soft. Familiar. Cruel.

”You cling because you are afraid.”

Luna skidded to a stop.

Her breath came in ragged gasps.

”Who said that?” She snapped, spinning in place.

The forest didn’t answer.

The voice returned, closer now.

”If you let go, he will stay.”

The moonlight brightened.

Aiden slowed ahead.

Just slightly.

”If you stop needing him,” The voice continued, ”you will be free.”

Luna stared at his back.

Her legs trembled.

Another whisper, colder.

”Release it.”

A presence settled over her chest.

A choice.

Images flickered in her mind.

Herself—standing calm and steady. Alone. Strong. No ache. No panic. No fear when he left.

The bond dimmed in that vision.

Quiet.

Controlled.

She swallowed.

Her claws dug into her palms.

”...No,” She said, barely audible.

The voice persisted.

”You fear being left behind.”

Luna squeezed her eyes shut.

”I do,” She admitted.

Her voice shook.

She opened her eyes.

Aiden was still walking.

Still leaving.

She took one step forward.

Then stopped.

Her ears drooped.

Her tail lowered.

She exhaled slowly.

Then straightened.

”I don’t stay because I’m afraid he’ll leave,” She said.

Her voice steadied with every word. ”I stay because I choose him.”

The forest went silent.

”I choose him even if it hurts,” She continued, fists clenched. ”Even if I’m scared. Even if I have to wait.”

The moon cracked.

Light fractured across the sky.

”And I don’t need to let go,” Luna said firmly.

”Because loving him isn’t a weakness.”

The trees dissolved into silver dust.

The ground vanished.

The bond surged.

Warm. Bright. Anchored.

Aiden stopped.

Turned.

For just a moment, she saw his eyes—soft, proud, steady.

Then—

Everything faded.

”...Master,” She whispered.

---

”But that fear?” Aiden continued, voice gaining strength. ”It’s why I check on them every night. Why I hold them longer. Why I fight smarter.”

Another step, sweat beading on his brow.

”It’s why I come back, no matter what.”

The weight slammed into place fully, unyielding.

The chains tightened like lovers’ embraces turned vise.

The plinth glowed gold, accepting.

The voice faded into silence.

---

BURDEN II — THE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS

---

The second weight formed like a massive blade suspended in midair, dark ichor dripping from it into the endless nothing below.

Faces flickered across its surface—ghostly, accusing.

Enemies he’d slain.

Soldiers fallen under his command.

Voices layered over one another, a cacophony of judgment.

”You are no hero.”

”You survive because others die. Their blood greases your path.”

”Why feel guilt for necessary deaths? It’s war. It’s survival.”

Aiden stared at the blade, jaw tightened, memories flooding— the warmth of blood on his hands, the final gasps.

His fists trembled.

”If I forget them,” He said, voice low and raw, ”then I become someone who kills without thinking. A monster.”

The blade pulsed brighter, challenging.

”If I stop carrying this,” He added, stepping closer, chains rattling in protest, ”then I stop remembering why I fight. Why any of it matters.”

He reached out, fingers brushing the ichor—it burned cold. ”I’ll carry it. Every drop.”

The blade dulled—no longer sharp and accusing, but heavy, blunt with truth.

The ichor stopped dripping, absorbed.

The plinth glowed brighter.

---

Darkness welcomed her like an old friend.

Then shaped itself.

A throne room rose from shadow—vast, silent, carved from obsidian and black crystal.

Nyxion stood at its center.

Her heels clicked softly as she stepped forward.

At the far end of the chamber loomed a massive throne, elevated on a dais of fractured crystal.

On it sat Aiden.

Still. Silent. Eyes closed in deep repose.

His body relaxed yet regal, broad shoulders filling the seat, but bound by dozens of ethereal chains that extended from his chest, wrists, and ankles, stretching outward into the encompassing darkness like roots seeking light.

Each chain glowed faintly with warm, golden light—pulsing with life.

Nyxion recognized them instantly, her heart twisting with a mix of fierce protectiveness and raw jealousy.

Each one leading to his wives and childrens.

More still to allies, lovers.

The chains hummed softly, a symphony of connections that bound him not in captivity, but in shared essence.

Nyxion’s jaw tightened, fangs grazing her lower lip.

Her fingers curled slowly into fists, nails digging into palms.

A voice purred behind her, sultry and insidious, slithering into her mind like smoke.

”So many claims on him.”

She didn’t turn, refusing to acknowledge the temptation manifested.

”So much sharing... his attention, his power, his body.”

The voice circled her now, invisible yet intimate, brushing against her skin like phantom fingers tracing her exposed midriff, dipping lower to graze the heat between her thighs.

”Doesn’t it bother you? Knowing he spreads himself so thin? That others taste what should be yours alone?”

Nyxion stepped closer to the throne, undeterred, her boots echoing in the vast emptiness.

The chains hummed louder in response, as if sensing her approach.

”I protect what’s mine,” She said calmly, voice low and velvet-edged, laced with steel.

The voice chuckled, dark amusement echoing.

”Then break them. Sever the ties.”

The chains nearest her shimmered invitingly, loosening slightly, offering themselves.

”Make him yours alone. No more divided heart. No more rivals warming his bed.”

Images flashed unbidden in her mind—vivid, erotic visions.

Aiden, eyes burning only for her, body pressed against hers in unyielding possession.

His hands gripping her hips as he claimed her fully, deeply, without distraction—thrusting into her wetness while she rode him on that very throne, her full breasts bouncing freely, nipples hard and aching as he sucked them greedily.

Stronger together. Focused. Unchallenged.

No Luna stealing soft mornings.

No Lysandra sharing quiet nights.

No children interrupting their passion.

”You would be unstoppable,” The voice whispered hotly against her ear, almost moaning. ”If he belonged only to you—body, soul, cock. All that power channeled through your bond alone.”

Nyxion reached out, her clawed fingers wrapping around the nearest chain.

It pulsed—warm, alive, thrumming with energy.

She felt Luna through it instantly: trusting, unaware, a gentle pull of pure affection.

Nyxion’s grip tightened, shadows coiling around her arm as jealousy flared hot in her core.

For a moment, she imagined snapping it—feeling the release, the surge of exclusive power.

Then she stopped.

Her breath came steady, controlled.

”...No,” She said firmly, voice echoing with finality.

The voice paused, surprised.

”What? You would deny yourself this?”

She pulled the chain closer, examining its glowing links with careful reverence.

Then another—Lysandra’s steady anchor.

Then another—the children’s joyful tugs.

”They’re not restraints,” Nyxion said slowly, realization dawning like dawn through storm clouds.

”They’re connections. Strengths woven together.”

She lifted her chin defiantly, eyes blazing.

”He isn’t mine to own. Not like property. Not like a slave to my desires.”

The voice hissed in frustration, the air growing colder.

”You would give up ultimate power? For this... weakness?”

Nyxion smirked faintly, a predatory curve of her lips that revealed sharp fangs.

”I don’t need to own him to stand beside him. To fuck me senseless when I want. To draw from his strength as he draws from mine.”

The throne room trembled violently, crystals cracking, shadows recoiling in agony.

The chains brightened intensely, gold flaring to brilliant white, humming with renewed vigor.

The throne itself cracked down the center, fissures glowing.

Aiden’s eyes opened slowly.

For a brief, eternal moment, his gaze met hers across the distance—warm, knowing, filled with gratitude and deep, possessive love.

And he smiled. A genuine, heart-melting curve that made her core ache with need.

The room shattered into swirling darkness, fragments dissolving like smoke.

Nyxion landed gracefully on one knee as the world reformed around her—solid ground returning, the trial’s void giving way.

She laughed softly, breathless and exhilarated, chest rising and falling rapidly.

”...Tch. Of course it had to test that. Jealousy. Possession. The darkest parts of me.”

She stood tall, rolling her shoulders.

”Still,” She murmured to herself, a satisfied smirk playing on her lips, ”worth every second. Proving it again.”

She looked into the receding darkness ahead, senses sharp.

”Don’t worry, my Heart Lord,” She said quietly, voice husky with promise. ”I’ll guard all of them. Every bond. Every piece of you. And when we reunite... I’ll remind you why sharing doesn’t mean losing me.”
