Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 108: Chapter : 108 : Kairi Of The Katana!

The wide stone arena shimmered in the sunlight. Rows of soldiers, generals, and curious courtiers filled the stands, murmuring with excitement. This was no ordinary morning anymore—it was entertainment, spectacle, and politics wrapped in one.

Aiden stood in the center of the sand floor, his blue eyes sharp, his wives gathered protectively around him. Luna clung tightly to his arm, her fluffy tail swishing dangerously. Nyxion’s tail lashed behind her like a whip, golden eyes glowing. Thristle stood with her arms crossed, jaw tight in a scowl. Arisha was statuesque, dark green skin gleaming, hand resting with authority on her sword hilt.

Lysandra held Leona against her chest, the little girl playing absently with her mother’s golden hair.

”Daddy...” Leona tugged on her sleeve, voice small. ”Why’s everyone staring so loud at Daddy?”

”Because your father is important, my sweet,” Lysandra murmured, though her own brow twitched.

”Mii~!” Fluffynugget squeaked from Ivy’s arms, drawing nervous giggles from the goblin girl.

Ivy peeked around Aiden’s side, clutching Fluffynugget to her chest. ”Onii-chan... is it bad? They’re all shouting so much...”

Zera, leaned against the railing above them, voice dry as sand. ”Bad? Girl, this is entertainment for them. If blood spills, they’ll cheer louder.”

Vegia shifted, arms folded under her chest. She muttered low, ”As if they deserve to see him. They don’t even know what kind of man he is.” Her words had a bite, but her eyes flicked unconsciously toward Aiden’s back.

The wives noticed. Nyxion’s eyes narrowed. Luna’s ears twitched. Thristle’s lips curved just barely in a knowing smirk. But none of them said a word.

The Queen stepped forward, lifting her hand. The roar of the arena cut into silence.

”Today,” Alethea declared, her voice carrying like a blade, ”We witness two duels. For honor, for pride, and perhaps even for love.”

Gasps and whispers surged through the crowd.

”Arisha Nightshade of Grimclaw,” Alethea’s lips curved faintly, her eyes finding the proud goblin warrior. ”Step forward.”

Arisha’s jaw tightened. She wasn’t shy in battle—never. But with Aiden watching, her pulse thundered. Still, she lifted her chin proudly, pushing through her sisters-in-bond. Her dark green form glowed in the sun, her armor fitted perfectly, her expression as sharp as her blade.

”Yes, Your Majesty,” she said evenly, her voice calm though her chest rose with restrained heat.

”And her opponent...” The Queen’s eyes gleamed. ”One of my deadliest generals. The Tempest of the East. General Kairi.”

The crowd roared.

The arena erupted with cheers.

From the far end, Kairi appeared.

She didn’t march like a soldier—she glided like temptation made flesh. Her long, midnight-blue hair spilled freely down her back, strands catching the faint glow like liquid night. Her body was wrapped in a sinfully tight black dress, the silk clinging to every curve as if it worshipped her shape. The neckline plunged low, framing the heavy swell of her breasts—full, round, and pressed together so tightly that each subtle rise of her chest seemed ready to spill free. The fabric stretched dangerously across them, a deliberate design that left her cleavage gleaming like forbidden treasure. A violet sash cinched her waist, emphasizing the hourglass cut of her figure, before the skirt draped down to hug her hips with a sculpted fit. Every shift of her body made the cloth pull against her curves, outlining the swell of her ass and the commanding strength of her thighs beneath. She didn’t need armor. Her body itself was the most dangerous weapon on display.

Her skin gleamed, pale and smooth, highlighting every flex of her body.

At her hip, the katana gleamed, slender and dangerous, its steel whispering promise of blood.

The men in the stands roared. Women sneered.

Arisha’s jaw clenched. ”That sword... it’s so thin, so small...”

”Don’t underestimate it,” Aiden said, his voice hard. His gaze didn’t falter from Kairi’s weapon. ”That’s a katana. It’s not about size—it’s about speed, precision, and cutting power.”

Kairi’s sultry eyes snapped instantly to him.

”Oh?” Her voice rolled like honey, warm and smooth. ”A foreigner who knows my blade?”

Gasps rippled through the arena. Even the Princess leaned forward, her sharp eyes narrowing at him.

Kairi licked her lips, her smile sinful. ”Mmm. Delicious. You’re even more interesting than they told me.”

Arisha’s hand twitched on her hilt.

But Kairi didn’t even look at her. Her gaze devoured Aiden. Her fingers trailed down her own thigh, dragging slow and deliberate. ”Tall. Broad shoulders. Strong jaw. Handsome. A harem king already...” She tilted her head, smirk playful. ”If you weren’t her man, I’d drag you to my bed before the duel even started.”

”Oi—!” Aiden flushed scarlet.

Leona twisted in Lysandra’s arm, eyes wide. ”Mummy! What’s that lady saying about Daddy?!”

”Nothing you need to repeat, little one,” Lysandra snapped, face blazing red.

”Heartlord is mine.” Nyxion’s tail slammed the ground.

”Master belongs to me!” Luna snarled, hugging Aiden’s arm tighter.

”My King would never lower himself to some teasing tramp.” Thristle’s eyes were venom.

Even Vegia rolled her eyes, muttering, ”Sprits, she’s insufferable.”

”Oh my God. Even Vegia is getting like this.” Aiden muttered, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Zera chuckled darkly from the stands. ”The man barely sets foot in the capital, and women already want his trousers off. Typical.”

Ivy puffed her cheeks, hugging Fluffynugget tight. ”Onii-chan is not for sale! He’s mine—um—I mean, ours!”

The Princess finally snapped, her sharp voice cutting through: ”How dare you speak so shamelessly, General!”

Kairi only grinned wider. ”Ohhh, jealous, are we? Don’t pout, little princess. I’m only teasing...” Her gaze flicked back to Aiden, hungry. ”Mostly.”

Nivara, silent until now, had been watching him intently. She hated humans. Hated them with every drop of her demon blood.

But... her Majesty’s words rang in her head. ’Aiden Nightshade is the Child of Prophecy. The bridge between humans and demons. His family itself is the proof of it—wives, bonds, and bloodlines all mixed without discrimination.’

Her jaw clenched lightly. *So this is him... the one I’m supposed to trust. The one they believes in.*

Yet, as her eyes lingered on him longer, she caught herself staring at the way his shoulders moved when he turned, the confidence in his tone, the calm in his eyes. That hated warmth stirred in her chest, confusing and irritating. *Damn it... why does he look nothing like the humans I’ve always despised?*

”...This man...” she whispered, voice low. ”...he doesn’t look like the others.”

Seraphina smirked at her side. ”Told you, Nivara. He’s not like them. He’s different.”

”S-shut!” Nivara said, looking away.

With a mischevious glint in her eyes, Seraphina proposed, ”Nini...”

”What?”

”Say, want to marry him?” Seraphina grinned.

”H-huh?” She flinched, her face burning.

”We can always be together if you do. I mean you said it yourself. He is different.” She teased, with that childish smile on her face.

Nivara’s heart fluttered, looking at her smile. She raised her hand, resting it on her head, as she started petting her, ”You’re insufferable, Princess.” Smiling toward her.

Seraphina just giggled, nudging into her hand more.

Nivara then looked forward, toward Aiden. She took a step forward toward him, eyes sharp, determined to test this man.

The Queen’s laughter rippled across the arena, amused and sensual. ”Kairi does enjoy playing with her prey.”

”Prey, lover...” Kairi winked, blade sliding free with a hiss of steel. ”...what’s the difference?”

Kairi’s gaze burned hotter, her tongue brushing her lip. ”Then let’s play, little goblin. If you can keep me from stealing glances at your man... maybe you deserve him.”

Arisha’s heart hammered.

Thristle leaned close, whispering. ”If she wins, she’ll try to take him. Do you want that?”

Thristle leaned close, whispering, ”If she wins, she’ll try to claim him. Will you let that happen?”

Arisha’s eyes hardened, her voice proud and strong.

”I’ll fight. For Sir Aiden.”

The crowd roared again, stomping feet and clapping hands.

But before the duel could begin, the wives were already snapping toward Princess.

”Heartlord is mine,” Nyxion hissed again, her tail cracking like a whip behind her.

”Master belongs to me!” Luna barked, her ears perked and tail puffed in outrage.

”My King would never touch you.” Thristle folded her arms, chin high with smug pride.

Lysandra huffed softly, stroking Leona’s hair to calm herself, though her crimson eyes darted with annoyance. ”Why must every battle of his turn into a circus of jealous women?”

Leona tilted her head, wide-eyed. ”But Mummy... aren’t you jealous too?”

”...” Lysandra stiffened, cheeks burning. ”Hush, darling.”

Seraphina suddenly clutched her chest with dramatic flair. ”Oh, the cruelty! Look at them, ganging up on poor me!” She pointed accusingly at the wives, pouting as if she’d been robbed. ”Do you see this, Sir? I’ve done nothing but adore you from afar, and yet they treat me as if I’m some scheming thief! Victim! That’s what I am!”

”Victim of your own mouth,” Nyxion snapped, eyes blazing.

”Victim of his hotness,” Thristle muttered.

”Victim of her own imagination,” Luna added, teeth flashing.

Seraphina gasped, covering her mouth like a scandalized maiden. ”You see? Bullies! Everywhere I turn, fangs and claws! Is this what love is supposed to look like?!”

Aiden pinched the bridge of his nose. ”Princess, please—”

But she cut him off, spinning with a theatrical sigh toward Nivara. ”Do you see what I endure, dear Nini? They wound me! They claw at my tender heart!”

Nivara blinked, deadpan. ”You’re enjoying this.”

Seraphina grinned mischievously, then leaned her head against Nivara’s arm like a spoiled child. ”Maybe. But only because it makes Sir look at me more.”

Aiden groaned audibly, dragging a hand down his face.

Even Zera barked out a laugh from the stands. ”Hero, you’re doomed. That one’s a nightmare in silk.”

”Mii~!” Fluffynugget squeaked from Ivy’s arms, ears twitching.

”Onii-chan...” Ivy said shyly, cheeks puffed in indignation. ”They’re all being mean to each other again. You should scold them!”

Vegia snorted, her tone dry and sharp. ”Please. He can’t even scold his own shadow. Look at him drowning.”

Aiden shot her a look. ””Not helping, Vegia.”

The Queen only smiled wider, clearly entertained by the chaos unraveling before her.

And Kairi? She tilted her head, amused as ever, her katana gleaming in the sunlight. ”What a delicious mess you’ve walked into, foreigner. The more I watch, the more I want to taste you for myself...”

The wives bristled again, growling in unison.

Arisha’s grip tightened on her hilt. ”Enough. She won’t touch him. Not while I stand.”

The crowd held its breath.

And the Queen’s voice rang out like thunder:

”Then let the duel... begin.”

The arena exploded in cheers.

Above it all, the Queen’s voice rang like velvet steel:

”Then let the duel... begin.”
