Chapter 1757: Chapter 1059: Passing Through the Eighteen Levels of Hell (Part 1)

The Second Layer of Hell: Scissor Hell, it is said that in the living world, if a woman’s husband unfortunately dies early and she becomes a widow, and if you coax her to remarry or act as a matchmaker for her, after death you will be cast into Scissor Hell, where all ten of your fingers will be severed! Not to mention if her husband is still alive, like the tale of Wang Po in ”Water Margin,” where Pan Jinlian originally had no intention of seducing Ximen Qing, but Wang Po coerced her to curry favor with the high official Ximen Qing and even gave her poison to poison Gou Dalang. Regardless of what happens to Pan Jinlian and Ximen Qing in the end, just Wang Po alone deserves Scissor Hell as punishment...

Though Mo Jiuli also doesn’t understand that if one stays a widow and the husband leaves no inheritance for the wife and children, isn’t it very hard for her to live alone? Others acting as a matchmaker is for her own good, shouldn’t it not be considered a wrongdoing! Moreover, why is it that those who bridge the gap for widows, after death are sent to Scissor Hell, yet if it’s introducing women to a widowed man, do they also end up in Scissor Hell after death? If not, Mo Jiuli feels that the phenomenon of gender inequality is very serious regardless of the world they are in...

Mo Jiuli and Lingling discovered that most of the souls tormented here are women, women gossiping is mortal, as seen in Scissor Hell!

Mo Jiuli cautiously led Lingling through Scissor Hell, crossing the barrier, they arrived at the Third Floor of Hell: Iron Tree Hell...

Iron Tree Hell, where those during their lifetime who sow discord among flesh and blood, instigating father-son, brother, sister, and husband-wife disharmony, are thrown into Iron Tree Hell after death. The trees are full of sharp blades, stuck into one’s back skin, hanging one upon the iron tree. After this, one still has to enter Tongue Pulling Hell and Steaming Cage Hell for further punishment, showing how great their sin is...

Crossing through Iron Tree Hell, Mo Jiuli and Lingling saw the Fourth Floor, Wicked Mirror Hell, where if one committed crimes in the living world, even if they didn’t confess or managed to evade law enforcement, smoothing over things through deceit, they might escape punishment (better not to) but the one who committed crimes on the run will eventually meet their death one day. Reporting to hell, they’ll be thrown into Wicked Mirror Hell, where their crimes are revealed in the mirror of sin. Then, they are separately cast into different hells to suffer...

This seems to be what people often say, those who commit crimes may dodge the law, but not their conscience! Not only do they have to live in fear their whole life, but they also have to pay for their deeds after death...

However, Mo Jiuli thought it might be just this world, in the past life during the 21st century she lived in, although there were legends, who cared about what happens after death in that era? As long as you live well, that’s enough, otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many high officials and corrupt officials...

Afterward, Mo Jiuli and Lingling reached the Fifth Floor of Hell: Steaming Cage Hell: a kind of person who usually spreads rumors, fabrications, ensnaring, and slandering others, commonly known as gossiping women. After their death, they are sent to Steaming Cage Hell, thrown into steaming cages. Not only that, but after steaming, cool wind blows, remaking them human again, leading them into Tongue Pulling Hell for tongue removal...

That’s why it’s said that being a quiet and beautiful woman is a very good thing!

The Sixth Floor, Copper Pillar Hell, those who intentionally commit arson in the living world, to obliterate evidence, seek revenge, or set fires that kill, after death are cast into Copper Pillar Hell. Little ghosts strip you of your clothes, forcing you to embrace a copper pillar cylinder with a diameter of one meter and a height of two meters naked. Inside the cylinder, charcoal fires blaze with gusts fanning the flames, soon making the copper pillar cylinder red hot...
