Chapter 728: Chapter 029: Assessment for Artifact Refiner Qualification!

Chapter 029

Everyone knows that weapons are indispensable in battle. A handy weapon of high level can completely increase the chances of victory in a fight against an opponent of the same level....

Furthermore, once a Growth-type weapon is contracted, it communicates with the Master’s thoughts just like a Space Ring, making it exceptionally powerful!

Moreover, the most important point is that any refiner capable of forging a Growth-type weapon is bound to become a Divine-level refiner who can forge Ninth-grade weapons or higher in the future!

Therefore, as one can imagine, whether an alchemist or an artifact refiner, those with a high level also hold exceedingly high statuses!

Mo Jiuli and Guyan Baihu entered the Artifact Refining Alliance and arrived at the Reception Area in the Hall. A young man with a refined appearance saw the three and immediately greeted them with a smile, ”What can I assist you with? Are you looking to acquire a weapon or to sell materials?”

”We wish to take the proficiency assessment for artifact refiners!” Mo Jiuli stated directly.

”All right, please follow me,” the young man said, slightly stunned at first but then his attitude became even more respectful.

He then led Mo Jiuli and the three to the Second Floor of the Artifact Refining Alliance, into one of the rooms! He asked Mo Jiuli and the others to wait for a moment. He went to the door of another Room, knocked, and an old man with white hair and beard came out, glaring at the young man and asked, ”What is it? Don’t you know the Old man is taking his midday nap?”

”Elder Bai, someone has come for the artifact refiner assessment,” the young man explained helplessly.

”Assessment for artifact refiners? Who would want an assessment at this hour? This is truly inconsiderate!” the old man, obviously disturbed from his nap, complained with dissatisfaction.

”Sigh... Elder Bai, it’s them,” the young man in blue quickly stepped aside, revealing Mo Jiuli and the others, and said.

”Alright, alright, I understand. You may leave,” Elder Bai said impatiently.

Upon hearing this, the young man let out a sigh of relief, greeted Mo Jiuli and the others, and withdrew.

The old man, looking a bit displeased, approached Mo Jiuli and the others, asking, ”Are all of you here for the artifact refiner assessment?”

”Just me, the other two are not,” Mo Jiuli answered indifferently.

”Oh, then what is your current level as an artifact refiner?” the old man asked directly.

”I don’t know,” replied Mo Jiuli just as directly.

”Hm? Haven’t you taken the assessment for the Artifact Refiner Badge before?” Elder Bai raised an eyebrow and asked, assuming Mo Jiuli was an artifact refiner coming for a level assessment.

”No,” Mo Jiuli said truthfully.

”Understood, follow me,” Elder Bai said without any further questions and led Mo Jiuli and the others to a large hall inside. There were about thirty Artifact Refining Furnaces placed around the hall at a glance.

”This is the Artifact Refiner Assessment Hall. The materials are over there. If the weapon you refine is successful, you can exchange it for a discounted price downstairs, or you can keep it for yourself, but you will need to settle the cost of the materials used. Of course, you can also use your own materials for refining, in which case no fee is required,” Elder Bai explained.

”I’ll use my own,” Mo Jiuli said.

”You may. All the Alchemy Furnaces here are available for use. We will wait for you over there until your refinement is complete and then assess the grade and issue the Artifact Refiner Badge,” Elder Bai continued to explain diligently.

”Alright, I understand, thank you,” Mo Jiuli nodded.

Considering Mo Jiuli’s attitude, Elder Bai was quite satisfied, and his expression softened from its previously unpleasant look... not as unsightly as it was at the beginning....
