Chapter 607: Chapter 605: Jun Xiaomuzi (3)

So, one of the Supreme Elders from the Ziyang Sect believed that as long as Jun Xiaomuzi did not want to die, she would definitely return to snatch the Red Beast. Coincidentally, they found out that one of the people who had infiltrated their sect was Jun Xiaomuzi’s brother, Sheng Siye...

They proceeded with their scheme and sent the Ziyang Sect’s Vice Sect Master to Yue Jiuli’s residence, capturing Sheng Siye and Yue Jiuli. Then they hung Sheng Siye at the entrance of the sect for two days and one night. Only after Jun Xiaomuzi had appeared that they put him away...

However, they did not allow Sheng Siye to see Jun Xiaomuzi, as they were afraid that he would wreak havoc once he saw her.

So, when they found Jun Xiaomuzi’s traces, they took Sheng Siye away. Although Sheng Siye did not see his sister, Jun Xiaomuzi saw her brother...

This infuriated Jun Xiaomuzi, who originally planned to sneak into the Ziyang Sect to snatch the Red Beast, so she charged in! To force the Yin Yang Pendant on Jun Xiaomuzi to merge with the dying Little Beast as soon as possible, the Ziyang Sect activated the Ziyang Platform in the Forbidden Land...

There was an ancient Fusion Array Formation contained within the giant pillar of the Ziyang Platform. The reason why the people of the Ziyang Sect locked the Little Beast on it was to force Jun Xiaomuzi to rescue the Little Beast during the final moment, activating the array and fusing them together...

As for why they have not activated the array formation so far, it’s because the Fusion Array Formation has never been used since its existence. They only know it is a fusion array formation that can merge everything in the world together. The incomplete ancient book that they possessed in the Ziyang Sect only contained fragments of information. They were not sure if activating the array would result in a Divine Artifact or something else...

Therefore, they hesitated to activate the formation and remained at a stalemate with Jun Xiaomuzi! As for why all the people of the Ziyang Sect gathered in the Forbidden Land...

That’s because once the Fusion Array Formation was activated, it required a thousand souls to start. Hence, all the Ziyang Sect members were summoned here...

However, the disciples of the Ziyang Sect, up until now, did not know that in the end, their loyal Sect Master and Supreme Elders would sacrifice them all in exchange for an unknown Divine Artifact...

Just a moment ago, one of the Ziyang Sect’s Supreme Elders used an eye-blocking technique to make Jun Xiaomuzi believe that her brother had safely left the Ziyang Sect, when in fact, Sheng Siye had been locked up in the dungeon long ago...

When Jun Xiaomuzi saw Yue Jiuli, she knew that this Yue Clan Young Master was one of her big brother’s two best friends, so she asked the Ziyang Sect members to release Yue Jiuli...

After a long struggle, she had suffered quite a few injuries, and had no choice but to make the Yin Yang Pendant, her only bargaining chip, as her hostage...

She did not want to die, nor did she want her brother’s friend to die because of her! She thought that Yue Jiuli was accompanying Sheng Siye to look for her, so he was caught...

That’s why Jun Xiaomuzi insisted on them releasing the hostages. But the people from the Ziyang Sect were no fools. If they released Yue Jiuli and Jun Xiaomuzi could not succeed in seizing the Artifact Spirit and destroying the Yin Yang Pendant, they would have no one to blame...

”Humph, little girl, don’t think we have no way to deal with you! Today, whether you like it or not, you must leave the Yin Yang Pendant behind! Or else, don’t blame us for being rude!” said the old man coldly, who had spoken earlier.
