Chapter 599: Chapter 597: Saving Sheng Siye

Not long after, a group of them appeared in front of a cave. Mo Jiuli took a glance at the entrance and crushed an elixir, using dark energy to blow it into the cave...

Then he turned back and handed a bottle of elixir to Ke Xuechen, saying, ”One for each person!”

Ke Xuechen took the elixir, hesitated a little, took one and swallowed it, then handed it to Yue Fei and the others. Once everyone had taken the elixir, Mo Jiuli walked into the cave...

Not long after entering the cave, they smelled a pungent bloody odor, and occasionally heard roars coming from inside that sounded like humans and demon beasts...

Mo Jiuli frowned, occasionally encountering a few disciples from the Ziyang Sect dressed in purple, who had been directly poisoned to death by Mo Jiuli’s elixir...

Soon their sight became wider, and there were almost a hundred prison cells of various sizes inside! In each prison cell, a person was locked up. Some were lying bloody on the ground, with only a faint breath left...

Some had no legs or arms, some even had no eyes or ears, and their mouths had been sewn shut by others. Some people had demon beast-like hair growing on their bodies, apparently used for poison testing...

Mo Jiuli’s eyebrows tightened, thinking that the Ziyang Sect was really not a good place. The dark energy inside these people had been sealed, and some of them were only teenagers but had been tortured to the point of wishing for death...

From their bodies, Mo Jiuli smelled some familiar medicinal materials, all highly poisonous. It was clear that these people were being used as test subjects to refine various poisons...

”Hurry up and find them!” Mo Jiuli said to Ke Xuechen with some disgust.

”Alright!” Ke Xuechen regained his senses and responded.

Then they walked ahead to search for Yue Jiuli and Sheng Siye.

”Found him!” Ke Xuechen strode forward to a prison cell and broke the lock with a single palm strike.

There was a man in black clothes lying in a disheveled state on the ground, seemingly unconscious. There were multiple whip marks on his body, but fortunately, they were just external wounds. Despite internal poisoning, his condition was not life-threatening! Compared to the others, he was much better off...

It seemed that he had been drugged and had passed out...

Mo Jiuli walked over, took out a pill, and stuffed it into the man’s mouth. Not long after, the man’s eyelashes trembled, and he opened a pair of sharp eyes...

Moreover, his eyes were red like dazzling red gemstones. Mo Jiuli’s first impression was that the man’s aura was somewhat similar to Xue Feng’s, but he didn’t think too much about it...

”Siye, how are you? Where’s Jiuli?” Ke Xuechen asked with concern.

”Xuechen? How did you get here? Hurry up and leave...” Sheng Siye said nervously when he heard this.

”Siye, I’m here to rescue you. Where’s Jiuli? I haven’t seen him,” Ke Xuechen looked around and didn’t see Yue Jiuli, so he asked.

”I don’t know. Before we were captured, Jiuli and I were treated somewhat leniently due to our identities. They only taught us a lesson. But then, I noticed a blur in front of my eyes, and I lost consciousness. We were both locked up here originally!” Sheng Siye said with a solemn expression.

”How could this happen?” Ke Xuechen frowned.

”Young Master Ye, are you really not sure where my master is?” Yue Fei asked with a worried face.

Why is their young master missing? How could this happen?
