Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 505: Lucy: Perhaps the Me from Evan’s World Is Also Super Powerful!

”What is that thing of yours?”

Natsu, who had transformed into Lightning Flame Dragon Mode, looked at the pitch-black energy wrapped around the Natsu of Evanʼs world and revealed a surprised expression.

”You mean this? This is Armament Haki!”

The Natsu of Evanʼs world thought for a moment after hearing this, and then explained.

”Armament Haki?”

This worldʼs Natsu was slightly stunned. Clearly, he had never heard of this ability called Armament Haki.

”Itʼs just a means of increasing attack power and defense.”

”You can understand my move as me attaching a layer of invisible armor to my body.”

The Natsu of Evanʼs world saw the confusion revealed in his counterpartʼs eyes, so he directly explained the function of Armament Haki.

”Invisible armor?!”

”Interesting!”

”Watch me use my flames to burn away all the armor on your body.”

This worldʼs Natsu immediately became interested after hearing this. He grinned at the Natsu of Evanʼs world, and then transformed into a bolt of lightning, charging toward the Natsu of Evanʼs world!

”Heʼs practically the same as Laxus!”

The Natsu of Evanʼs world looked at this worldʼs Natsu, who had transformed into lightning, and was stunned at first before muttering to himself.

The Natsu of Evanʼs world saw Laxusʼs shadow in his counterpart from this world!

At this moment, the Natsu of Evanʼs world already knew exactly where the lightning on his counterpartʼs body had come from...

”However, although you possess lightning like Laxus, your strength is still far too lacking! When you train the lightning on your body to a level comparable to Laxus, come challenge me again! Right now...youʼre still too green!”

As the Natsu of Evanʼs world spoke, a string of crimson-red electric light flashed through his eyes. He suddenly made a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn with his body, exerting force through his waist while using the momentum of the turn to suddenly throw a punch.

Immediately afterward, the fist of the Natsu of Evanʼs world, accompanied by a sound of something tearing through the air, heavily struck the cheek of the person behind him...

And the person who had intended to sneak attack the Natsu of Evanʼs world from behind, only to be discovered by him and given a fatal punch, was none other than this worldʼs Natsu!

Originally, this worldʼs Natsu had intended to rely on the speed of his Lightning Flame Dragon Mode to circle behind the Natsu of Evanʼs world and then directly deliver a fatal blow to him.

Unfortunately, ideals were plentiful, while reality was harsh. Reality was completely opposite to this worldʼs Natsuʼs imagination. Caught off guard, Natsu was directly knocked unconscious by the punch from the Natsu of Evanʼs world...

”Pfft!”

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. When the people around them turned their heads after hearing the sound, this worldʼs Natsu had already been sent flying, foaming at the mouth. His body was like a battered doll as it drew a parabola through the air before heavily smashing into the tables and chairs behind him, destroying all the last few tables and chairs that had remained completely intact.

”Natsu!!”

For a moment, the two Lucys watching the battle simultaneously shouted toward the Natsu who had been sent flying.

Although one of these two Lucys was Lucy from Evanʼs world, she still felt worried when she saw Natsu being sent flying.

”Is that guy Natsu okay?!”

”He actually got taken down. What a disgrace!”

”What the hell is that guy Natsu doing?”

Apart from Lucy, who was worried about Natsuʼs safety, the fun-loving members of the Fairy Tail Guild did not take Natsuʼs defeat seriously. After all, Natsu challenging a strong person, failing, and then being sent flying could be said to be part of the daily routine of the Fairy Tail Guild. It was simply far too normal.

It was just that what left these fun-loving people somewhat speechless was that their worldʼs Natsu had actually been defeated by Natsu from another world. This left everyone not knowing what to say. At this moment, all these fun-loving people wanted to say one thing to Natsu: ”Losing to anyone is fine, but donʼt lose to yourself, bastard!”

”Chairs, the newest and most intact chairs in the Fairy Tail Guild have also just been destroyed! My heart hurts so much! Bastard...”

On the other side, Makarov looked at the tables and chairs that had been smashed to pieces by Natsu falling from the sky. He painfully covered his heart. The pain of being the Guild Master of Fairy Tail was something ordinary people absolutely could not understand.

”It looks like Natsuʼs battle is over~”

”Then the battle between you and me can end as well!”

At the same time, the battle between Erza Belserion and Erza Scarlet was still raging.

Of course, rather than saying that the two were engaged in an intense battle, it would be more accurate to say that Erza Belserion was teaching Erza Scarlet swordsmanship unilaterally. From the beginning of the battle, Scarlet had been unable to touch even the corner of Belserionʼs clothes, no matter how hard she tried...

At this moment, after effortlessly deflecting Erza Scarletʼs attack, Erza Belserion spoke to Erza Scarlet with a smile.

”Phew, phew, phew...”

Erza Scarlet was constantly panting at this moment. She was concentrating her attention intensely and had not taken Erza Belserionʼs words to heart. At this moment, Erza Belserion seemed to have entered a state of complete selflessness. She had only one goal, and that was to defeat the Erza Belserion before her.

”Oh?!”

In response, Erza Belserion merely smiled disdainfully with extreme calmness.

”Requip: Heavenʼs Wheel Armor!”

The instant Erza Scarlet saw Erza Belserionʼs cold smile, her body finally moved. She abandoned the Black Wing Armor and changed into Heavenʼs Wheel Armor.

Immediately, the body of Erza Scarlet, who had originally been wearing black armor, lit up with a burst of light. In the next second, Erza Scarlet was clad in silver-white armor that seemed as if an angel had descended. Around that armor, sword after sword floated in midair, incomparably beautiful.

”Heavenʼs Wheel Dance!”

Erza Scarlet did not hesitate at all. After summoning Heavenʼs Wheel Armor, she immediately unleashed her ultimate technique.

Instantly, countless flying swords shot toward Evan. Each flying sword tore through the air with streaks of fire, heading straight for Erza Belserion.

”Hehe...”

In response, Erza Belserion merely smiled disdainfully. She held the knight sword in her hand that she used for training, lightly flicked her wrist, and then a blur slashed toward the sky. With a single sword stroke, countless flying swords were chopped into scrap metal.

However, this was not over yet. Erza Belserion gripped the iron sword and forcefully swung it around herself in a circle. Instantly, a flying slash that wrapped around Erza Belserion like a full moon flew toward all directions, cutting at the flying swords and chopping them all into countless pieces of iron!

”Thatʼs it?!”

After Erza Belserion finished all this, she looked back at her counterpart in this world, Erza Scarlet, and asked indifferently.

”Of course itʼs not over!”

”Requip: Armor of the Heavenly Goddess!”

Erza Scarlet naturally would not give up so easily. In the short span of an instant, she completed another Requip! She was now wearing the strongest armor in her arsenal, the legendary Armor of the Heavenly Goddess, which supposedly no one had been able to wear for years!

For a moment, the Armor of the Heavenly Goddess set off Erza Scarletʼs breathtaking beauty! The colorful ribbons fluttered in the wind, and her graceful figure seemed to dance lightly in the heavens. At this moment, Erza Scarlet was as beautiful as a goddess from the heavens! And the blade in her hand, which was said to be capable of cutting through space, did not break this beauty. Instead, it perfectly fused with Erza Scarlet, who resembled a goddess, making Erza Scarlet look like a Valkyrie from the heavens.

”Interesting!”

Erza Belserion became interested when she saw the scene before her. In the past, she had always used the Armor of the Heavenly Goddess to chop others. Now, it was finally her turn to experience the powerful might of the Armor of the Heavenly Goddess herself.

”Zzzzz...”

For a moment, Haki burst forth from the knight sword in Erza Belserionʼs hand. Pitch-black Conquerorʼs Haki, like muffled thunder, wrapped around the knight sword in Erza Belserionʼs hand. This Conquerorʼs Haki, which had already surpassed Evanʼs Haki level and far exceeded Level Ten, shook the entire space until it continuously emitted rumbling sounds.

It was also at the instant Erza Scarlet approached Erza Belserion that Erza Belserion suddenly swung the sword in her hand...

”Divine Departure!”

Accompanied by a soft chant, a pitch-black slash, as black as a crescent moon, shot out from Erza Belserionʼs knight sword like a wild horse that had broken free of its reins, fiercely crashing into Erza Scarlet, who was wearing the Armor of the Heavenly Goddess!

Although Erza Scarlet, wearing the Armor of the Heavenly Goddess, was as powerful and beautiful as a heavenly god descending to the mortal world!

But at this moment, the sword swung by Erza Belserion was one that even a god had to temporarily avoid!

Erza Scarlet, who failed to evade this sword, was immediately sent flying. Her feet plowed deep grooves into the ground, carving two lines across the guild floor. Then she smashed through the wall of the Fairy Tail Guild and directly fell into the ditch not far behind the wall...

”Aiya~”

”I seem to have used a little too much force?!”

”What should I do about this?”

After Erza Belserion sent Erza Scarlet flying with a single slash, she looked somewhat troubledly at the distant ditch and fell into thought.

Originally, Erza Belserion had not intended to send Erza Scarlet flying. She also had not expected the power of her slash to be so enormous, nor had she expected her counterpart from this world to be so weak.

”I hope this sword of mine can tell the me of this world what it means that there is always a higher heaven and there is always someone better than you...”

Erza Belserion gave herself, who had fallen into the ditch, great expectations. She looked forward to the day when her counterpart from this world would become stronger.

As she thought about it, Erza Belserion withdrew the knight sword she usually used for practice, which did not even have a sharpened blade.

”Even Erzaʼs side has already decided the winner!”

As the battle on Erzaʼs side ended, Lucy could not help wiping the cold sweat from her forehead.

From the beginning of the battle until now, none of the Mages on Evanʼs worldʼs side had lost yet!

This made Lucy from this world feel the enormous difference in combat power between the two worlds.

”Eh? Wait, if everyone else is this powerful, then doesnʼt that mean the me from the alternate world should also be especially powerful?!”

Suddenly, Lucy from this world seemed to have thought of something. Her eyes gradually brightened. Although she, Lucy, had always been among the weakest group in the Fairy Tail Guild, perhaps the Lucy from the alternate world was as powerful as the other members of the Fairy Tail Guild from the alternate world. Perhaps this was an opportunity for her, Lucy, to rise up from the Fairy Tail Guild.

”Lucy~”

Thinking this, Lucy from this world walked toward Lucy from Evanʼs world with a grin.

”Huh?!”

Lucy from Evanʼs world looked at the Lucy from this world who had walked straight up to her, with a faint smile on her face, and suddenly felt a sense of panic in her heart.

”Um...”

Lucy from Evanʼs world was about to ask why Lucy from this world was making such a strange expression.

”Lucy! The Fairy Tail of your world is so powerful!”

Before Lucy from Evanʼs world could think any further, Lucy from this world excitedly hugged Lucy from Evanʼs world.

”Uh...”

”Hahahaha...”

”Isnʼt that only natural? The Fairy Tail Guild I belong to is the strongest Fairy Tail in the entire multiverse.”

After hearing Lucyʼs words, Lucy from Evanʼs world immediately laughed lightly. After all, wouldnʼt anyone be happy to receive praise?!

”So, Lucy, are you also super powerful?”

Then, just when Lucy from Evanʼs world was feeling slightly carried away, Lucy from this world spoke again.

”Ah, yes, yes, yes...”

”There are no weaklings in our Fairy Tail Guild. Even I am an extremely powerful Mage...”

At this moment, Lucy from Evanʼs world had not yet realized what was happening. She subconsciously followed the train of thought of Lucy from this world and continued speaking.

”Eh? Wait, what did you just say?!”

After letting out a light laugh, Lucy from Evanʼs world finally reacted. It seemed she had said something wrong.

In fact, although they were in different worlds, Lucyʼs own positioning was the same. Even in the super-invincible enhanced version of Fairy Tail, her, Lucyʼs, role was still that of the one who made complaints!

The strong never complain about the environment. As the number-one complaining Mage in the world, Lucy could complete her job of complaining no matter which world she was in.

”Lucy, you really are powerful!”

”If thatʼs the case, why donʼt you teach me a few moves?!”

After hearing Lucy from Evanʼs worldʼs words, Lucy from this world immediately became excited. She hoped to learn some magic that could protect herself from Lucy from Evanʼs world, thereby escaping the ranks of the weakest people in the Fairy Tail Guild. She no longer wanted to always be protected by others. After experiencing the dragon invasion incident, compared to being protected by others, Lucy wanted even more to protect others.

”Uh-heh-heh...”

However, although Lucy from this worldʼs intentions were good, Lucy from Evanʼs world was the one who suffered.

To be honest, at this moment, Lucy from Evanʼs world had absolutely no idea what magic she should teach Lucy from this world. After all, even Lucy herself was merely a Mage whose daily job was to make complaints!

However, Lucy from Evanʼs world looked at her counterpart from this world. The sincerity revealed in those eyes caused Lucy from Evanʼs worldʼs heart to ache. She could see the anticipation in the eyes of her counterpart from this world.

In response, Lucy from Evanʼs world did not want to destroy the beautiful fantasy in her counterpartʼs heart. She really could not bear to tell Lucy from this world: ”Lucy, listen to your big sister and give up! You simply have no talent for cultivating magic. You wonʼt be able to become stronger in this lifetime. Every day, you can only make complaints and shout ʼ666ʼ to make a living!”

”Lucy! Becoming stronger isnʼt something that you can accomplish just because you say you want to become stronger...”

”Cultivation is a long road. You need to give it your all and put in efforts that are difficult for others to imagine!”

”Only when you devote everything you have to magic will magic repay you!”

”In short, wait here for me for a moment. Iʼll go get the cultivation manual I used to cultivate and pass it on to you!”

Lucy from Evanʼs world put her hands behind her back and slightly raised her chin. At this moment, she was practically one step away from having the four words ”I am a Grandmaster” pasted across her forehead.

”The me from another world really is powerful!”

For a moment, Lucy from this world was deeply shaken as she looked at Lucy from Evanʼs world, who looked like an unparalleled grandmaster. She believed in her judgment. The Lucy from another world really was incomparably powerful.

”Lucy, please teach me magic! I also want to become powerful!”

After determining that her alternate-world self was incomparably powerful, Lucy from this world did not say another word. She lightly bowed to her alternate-world self, hoping to obtain powerful magic from Lucy of Evanʼs world.

”Mm~”

In response, Lucy from Evanʼs world merely hummed lightly before continuing to tell Lucy from this world, ”Lucy, donʼt move from here. Iʼll go get the cultivation manual for you. Iʼll be back soon!”

”Okay, Teacher Lucy!”

After hearing this, Lucy from this world immediately nodded vigorously. As she spoke, she had already begun treating Lucy from Evanʼs world as her teacher.

”Mm~”

In response, Lucy from Evanʼs world merely nodded lightly again.

Then she headed straight toward the second floor of the Fairy Tail Guild. Lucyʼs target was simple and clear. Her target was Evan, who was sitting on the second floor, drinking tea while observing the Fairy Tail Guild.

”Huh?!”

As Lucy walked to the second floor of the guild and blocked Evanʼs view, Evan, who was drinking tea, was immediately stunned.

”Youʼre blocking...”

Evan immediately wanted to remind Lucy that she was blocking his view and hoped that she would move out of his way.

”Evan, please! I have something very important that I need your help with...”

Before Evan could speak, Lucy, who had still been carrying the demeanor of a grandmaster, immediately revealed her true nature. She seriously pleaded with Evan, who was calmly drinking tea before her.

”Huh?!”

Evan slightly furrowed his brows after hearing this. He always felt that whatever matter could make Lucy plead with him like this definitely would not be anything good. Therefore, after thinking for a mere five seconds, Evan immediately responded to Lucy: ”You said you need my help?!”

”Yes!”

Lucy nodded pitifully after hearing this.

Then Evan loudly rejected Lucy: ”Sorry, but I have to refuse! The thing I like doing most in this life is saying no to people who come to ask me for help!”

”What?!”

Lucy was directly stunned on the spot after hearing this.

”...”

In response, Evan ignored Lucy and continued calmly drinking his tea while thinking in his heart: ”You didnʼt even trigger a single quest. At a glance, youʼre not sincere enough! How can I, Evan, help someone who isnʼt sincere?”

Yes, the reason Evan waited five seconds was because he was waiting for the system to issue a quest. After discovering that there was no quest, Evan decisively refused.
