Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 499: Fairy Tail Brings Apocalypse and the Others VS Ten Thousand Dragons!

”Charge!”

With the opening of the Eclipse Gate, the Fairy Tail Guild, as well as the Mages of Diabolos, immediately streamed through the opened gate one after another.

”As the worldʼs strongest Dragon Slayer Mage organization! We absolutely cannot let this damn Fairy Guild look down on us!”

The Dragon Eaters of Diabolos roared. The moment they heard that their enemy was ten thousand dragons, they knew that their opportunity had arrived.

”Tell these brats! We are the worldʼs strongest Mage Guild!”

The Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild roared back without showing any weakness. Although the Dragon Slayer Mages of Diabolos were indeed very strong, the Fairy Tail Guild was not weak either. Laxus and Serena in particular could even exchange blows with the Black Dragon Slayer Knights, the four strongest Dragon Slayers of Diabolos!

As for Evan, Irene, Acnologia, and the others, in the eyes of the Fairy Tail Guild, they were already dragons. They were outside the scope of ordinary Dragon Slayer Mages.

”Your plan has finally begun, hasnʼt it? Evan!”

Precht followed behind everyone. He looked at Evan with his eyes slightly narrowed. After secretly observing Evan for a total of two and a half years, Precht had finally caught Evanʼs weakness.

”Evan, I really underestimated you!”

Precht sighed inwardly. When Precht first encountered Evan, he thought Evanʼs goal was to conquer the world. After Precht learned that Fairy Tail controlled not only the world of Earth-land, but also the two worlds of Elentear and Edolas, Precht mistakenly thought Evanʼs goal was to conquer the entire universe...

However, when Precht saw Evan use Zerefʼs Eclipse Gate to connect to other timelines.

Only then did Precht suddenly understand. He said to Evan, ”So it turns out that Evan, you plan to conquer the entire multiverse! To become the conqueror and destroyer of the multiverse and countless timelines! I admit it, I, Precht, was too narrow-minded. I actually underestimated you. Damn it.”

Thinking this, Precht still chose to enter the Eclipse Gate before him. He wanted to see exactly how Evan planned to conquer the entire multiverse. At the same time, Precht was also curious about what the other versions of himself in other universes were like?!

For a time, countless Mages entered the Eclipse Gate...

Finally, even Evan, Irene, Selene, Ignia, Acnologia, and Zeref entered through this gate.

As the group of Mages poured into the Eclipse Gate, this ancient gate slowly closed! Sealing the endless radiance within.

The timeline where Future Lucy was located.

X791, the Grand Magic Games, final day...

After being sealed away for seven days, the Fairy Tail Guild swept through the entire Grand Magic Games in a miraculous manner. In the final match of the final day, Laxus, Erza, Gray, Juvia, and Gajeel displayed outstanding performances in the final team battle. With the odds stacked against them, five people fought against almost all of the other Guilds, defeating the strong despite being weak and winning the Grand Magic Games despite everyone believing they would lose. From this point onward, the Fairy Tail Guild became famous throughout Fiore and returned to the ranks of the number one Mage Guild in the Kingdom of Fiore!

During these days of battle, the Fairy Tail Guild not only displayed overwhelming strength, but also relied on their trust in their companions and their unbreakable convictions, earning the respect of almost everyone in the Kingdom of Fiore!

Whether others admitted it or not, the Mage Guild Fairy Tail had completely become a symbolic representation of the Kingdom of Fiore, and even of the entire magical world of Ishgar...

Everyone knew that from today onward, Fairy Tail would become unstoppable. They would reclaim the seven years they had once lost and embark upon an upward path that no one could stop!

However, the turning point in the situation appeared.

Time came to the night when Fairy Tail won the Grand Magic Games. At the moment when the full moon hung high in the sky, a lunar eclipse appeared, blocking the cold moonlight.

The next second, the enormous Eclipse Gate slowly opened...

Accompanied by wave after wave of golden light, one dragon after another slowly emerged from the Eclipse Gate.

”Dragons?!”

For a moment, the soldiers guarding the Royal Capital in front of the Eclipse Gate, as well as the Mages who had gathered under the Kingʼs summons and participated in the Grand Magic Games, were all shocked as they stared at the constantly opening Eclipse Gate that was releasing dragons.

”What exactly is going on?!”

For a moment, all the Mages stood helplessly in place. They did not understand. Wasnʼt the Eclipse Gate supposed to turn the magic power they had collected into a weapon and release it? How had it become a tool for releasing dragons?!

”Roar!!”

However, the dragons would not give these Mages or soldiers any time to be shocked. One after another, they emerged from the Eclipse Gate. And high above the endless sky, a young man standing atop a dragon, with long hair that was half-white and half-black, was laughing wildly.

”Hahahaha...”

”Ahahahaha...”

”The Eclipse Gate has finally been opened by me, you bunch of foolish idiots!”

”I will use my Dragon Control Secret Art to become the king of this world. Acnologia, you will eventually be destroyed by me!”

”You only have one, while I... have a whole ten thousand!”

The young man laughed wildly. Under the illumination of the lights reflected upon the streets of Crocus, the capital of the Kingdom, one could see that the young man had a face exactly identical to Future Rogueʼs.

Thatʼs right, this was a world where Future Rogue had successfully traveled to the past and successfully opened the Eclipse Gate, releasing ten thousand dragons! At this moment, Future Rogue, whose mind had already been clouded by the flames of revenge, was increasingly resembling the Acnologia he hated under the illumination of the lights. It seemed that becoming the very dragon one hunts was the destiny of every Dragon Slayer Mage...

Back then, Acnologia had also been filled with youthful passion. Watching one member of his race after another die tragically, he eventually decided to fight for his race. However, after fighting until the very end, Acnologia forgot everything, ultimately remembering only the name of his enemy. It was both laughable and heartbreaking...

In the end, Acnologia took upon himself the name of that black dragon and began a path that was impossible for anyone to understand!

”Boom!!”

Just as Future Rogue spread open his arms and let out a wild laugh, the earth suddenly trembled, and spell after spell shot toward the dragons, attacking them.

”Utterly foolish!”

Future Rogue looked down from the sky at the ants on the ground who were resisting his dragons. His expression carried a hint of displeasure. He coldly looked at the Mages below as if he were a lofty god looking down upon a group of lowly ants.

”Ah! Is this Acnologiaʼs perspective? When I stand high in the sky, everything in my eyes is so tiny! I finally understand Acnologiaʼs thoughts!”

Future Rogue stood in the sky, and suddenly his expression changed as he realized something. He finally understood how Acnologiaʼs indifferent gaze had been formed.

”Teach these rebels a lesson, but donʼt kill them! I want to conquer them!”

”From today onward, I will not only be the King of Dragons, I will also be the King of Humans! I will be the King of the World! Those who submit to me shall prosper, while those who oppose me shall perish! Hahaha!!”

Future Rogue stood in the air, his heart filled with endless emotion. He was simply too exhilarated. He swore that he had never felt this good in his entire life.

Following Future Rogueʼs command, the dragons immediately began playing a game with the Mages on the ground. Facing immature Dragon Slayer Mages like Natsu and the others, these dragons standing at the pinnacle were even too lazy to use magic. They continuously inflicted despair upon every Mage present with the mentality of playing a game.

As one dragon after another emerged from the Eclipse Gate, in an instant, a full ten thousand dragons flew above the entire Royal Capital!

Fortunately, before the old King Thomas E. Fiore prepared to use the Eclipse Gate to fight the dragons, he had already secretly evacuated all the citizens of the Royal Capital. Otherwise, there was truly no telling what kind of panic the entire Royal Capital would have fallen into...

Under Old Thomasʼs wise decision, the only people now being oppressed by the aura of those ten thousand dragons to the point that they could not move were the members of the Fiore Kingdomʼs Royal Family and the powerful members of the various Mage Guilds.

”Hahaha...”

At the same time, Future Rogue laughed wildly. Standing atop the Vajra Dragon, he landed before Old Thomas and the other Fiore Kingdom royals who were kneeling on the ground.

”Rogue, you deceived me!”

Princess Jade knelt on both knees, her eyes bloodshot as she roared at Future Rogue.

”You deceived me by saying that ten thousand dragons would attack the Kingdom of Fiore. In reality, you made that up, because those dragons themselves were summoned by you...”

Princess Jade glared at Future Rogue and growled in a low voice.

”Your Highness Jade, you really are clever, to actually discover my conspiracy! Unfortunately, donʼt you think you discovered it a little too late?! The dragons have already been released by me! You no longer have any chance. The outcome is that all of you have lost, and the only person who wins is me, Rogue Cheney!”

After hearing Princess Jadeʼs words, Future Rogue smiled. To be honest, he quite liked this big-breasted, empty-headed woman named Jade. At least she could become a sharp blade in his hands very well.

”You lunatic!”

Jadeʼs rather ample chest trembled continuously under Rogueʼs one heartbreaking remark after another. At this moment, Jade was like a begonia flower being battered by the wind and rain, beautiful yet heartbreaking. But just as Future Rogue had said, the reason for this unfavorable situation was because Jade had trusted Rogue too easily and brought this upon herself.

”Lunatic?! Itʼs not that Iʼm crazy! Itʼs this world thatʼs crazy!”

”Even if these ten thousand dragons hadnʼt wreaked havoc on the Royal Capital and completely awakened you! In the near future, a black dragon would still invade the entire Royal Capital. By then, the number of people who die will be even greater, even greater than now!”

”You must understand that we are powerless to resist dragons. We can only submit...”

”The Dragon Slayer Magic we learned is useless! Itʼs all useless!!”

”Only by possessing the power of dragons can we fight against dragons!”

Future Rogue seemed somewhat deranged. He seemed to have remembered the events from before he traveled through time, when he and a group of Dragon Slayer Mages fought Acnologia. Unfortunately, although they were called Dragon Slayer Mages, they were ultimately still humans. Their little bit of power was simply too insignificant before a true dragon.

”Jade, donʼt blame me for being despicable. War is deception! The strong prey upon the weak! In this world, there are only winners and losers. No one will care about the methods used to become king, because history is written by the victors!”

”And I will become the new king of the Kingdom of Fiore, and even of the entire continent of Ishgar!”

Future Rogue spread open his arms, laughing wildly at this moment.

Only because Rogue, possessing ten thousand dragons, believed that he had already become the king of this world, and from today onward, no one would be able to stop his path forward...

However, perhaps Future Rogue himself did not know that even ten thousand dragons could not defeat Acnologia!

At the same time, Rogue did not know that even with ten thousand dragons, it would be difficult for him to win a battle against the Alvarez Empire of the Western Continent.

Rogue had ten thousand dragons, but the Alvarez Empire also had Irene, Zeref, August...

Rogue driving ten thousand dragons against the Alvarez Empire would merely cause time to return to four hundred years ago. Back then, there had also been so many dragons attacking the country where Irene was located!

At that time, it would merely be another great war between dragons and Dragon Slayer Mages. Perhaps during this long war, another new ʼAcnologiaʼ might even be born.

However, Rogue did not understand his own future at this moment, and the Mages on the ground also did not know that these dragons were merely strong on the outside but weak on the inside, far from being as powerful as they imagined.

Everyone only knew that their magic seemed ineffective against the dragons. For a time, an almost desperate atmosphere spread throughout the entire Royal Capital. In the end, even the proud Royal Family of the Kingdom of Fiore knelt on the ground...

”We will kneel, we will submit! I only ask that you do not harm my people!”

Princess Jade, together with Old Thomas, knelt on the ground and begged Future Rogue.

”We also choose to submit. We only ask that you show mercy and spare the Mages of our Guilds!”

Following Princess Jade and Old Thomas kneeling, one Mage after another who had fought until the very end, exhausted and seeing no effect whatsoever, also abandoned the thought of resisting. However, perhaps because of the pride of Mages, not a single person still knelt! In the end, the first person to kneel, leading everyone toward a path of survival, was none other than Jura, who ranked fifth among the Ten Wizard Saints and held a status akin to a grandmaster in the magical world!

As Jura chose to submit, the other Mages also cast aside the pride in their hearts and knelt on the ground one after another!

”Thatʼs right! Thatʼs right...”

”Hahahaha! Keep fighting! Come on! Is there anyone else who refuses to submit?!”

At this moment, Future Rogue was arrogant like Blackbeard Marshall D. Teach, who had endured for most of his life and finally obtained the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit during the Paramount War. The current Rogue believed that no matter who came, he would not lose. If Zeref dared to come, he would destroy Zeref. If Acnologia dared to come, he would destroy Acnologia! He, Rogue, was the only god of this world!

”...”

Although everyone felt humiliated, when faced with one dragon after another, whether it was the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Fiore or the members of Mage Guilds such as Blue Pegasus and Mermaid Heel, all of them knelt on the ground, not daring to raise their heads to look at Future Rogue.

”Fire Dragonʼs Iron Fist!!”

However, just when all the Mages were almost in despair, a boy with cherry-pink hair, his body radiating endless scorching flames, swung his iron fist toward the dragons in the sky.

”Natsu!”

”Natsu-nii!”

”Fire Dragon...”

For a moment, the entire scene was shocked.

”Natsu... you bastard, are you planning to resist me?”

Future Rogue looked at Natsu, whose entire body was releasing blazing flames, his expression somewhat displeased.

”Resist? What are you talking about?! Iʼm going to knock some sense into you!”

Flames radiated from Natsuʼs entire body as he grinned at Future Rogue.

Even when facing the most hopeless situation imaginable, Natsu would never fall, nor would he give up hope, because that was simply the kind of Mage he was!

”Knock some sense into me? Heh...”

”Thatʼs nothing more than your wishful thinking! Iʼm very clear-headed right now, exceptionally clear-headed!”

”Since Natsu, you plan to be the one who sticks his neck out, Iʼll grant your wish!”

After hearing Natsuʼs words, anger flashed through Future Rogueʼs eyes. He controlled the dragon beneath him and charged toward Natsu.

”Itʼs not just Natsu! None of us plan to submit to you!”

Just as Future Rogue thought that as long as he eliminated Natsu, no one would resist him, the moment he became the king of this world, one Mage after another walked out from the ruins. Although their clothes were tattered and their bodies covered in wounds, they would never give up! Because they shared the same faith as Natsu and bore the same emblem on their bodies, they were the Mage Guild Fairy Tail...

When Rogue, who had remained silent all this time, looked at the Mages who intended to resist him, his expression gradually became distorted, and he uttered the name of this Mage Guild: ”Damn Fairy Tail! Since you intend to fight me, then Iʼll grant your wish. But... I want to tell you that in this world, besides you Fairy Tail, there will no longer be anyone who dares to fight me! Look at those people who have knelt down! Is it really worth fighting me for their sake?!”

”This isnʼt a matter of whether itʼs worth it or not! This is a matter of conviction!”

The Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild, upon hearing Rogueʼs words, released magic circles one after another, expressing their determination to fight Rogue to the very end.

”Good! Good! Good...”

Future Rogue looked at the situation before him and said the word ”good” three times in succession.

Immediately afterward, waves of gloomy killing intent were released from his body!

That black mist, resembling shadows, floated around Future Rogue, making him look like an evil Demon King...

”Then you Fairy Tail can go die!”

As Future Rogueʼs voice fell, dragon after dragon launched attacks at Fairy Tail.

This battle between Fairy Tail and the dragons did not last long...

In less than half an hour, the Mages of Fairy Tail collapsed onto the ground, powerless to continue fighting!

This was still because Future Rogue had held back. He was not in a hurry to kill the Mages of Fairy Tail, because what he wanted to destroy was the unyielding conviction of the Fairy Tail Guild. He wanted to make Fairy Tail fall as he had. He wanted to tell everyone that Rogue was not afraid of Acnologia, but that this was the only way to save the world. He wanted to tell Fairy Tail, to tell Sabertooth, to tell Sting, that he, Rogue, was not wrong.

Only he, Rogue, could lead humanity toward the future! Only he, Rogue, could!

As the battle continued until now, the enormous Fairy Tail Guild had only Natsu remaining, like a candle flickering in the wind, still standing upon the earth. The others had not submitted to Rogue, but were simply powerless to continue fighting and had collapsed onto the ground...

”Hahaha...”

”Ahahaha...”

Future Rogue looked at the Mages of Fairy Tail lying on the ground like torn pieces of cloth, laughing wildly without end. His eyes seemed to contain nothing but madness.

”Keep going! Why did you stop?”

”Arenʼt you Fairy Tail very arrogant?”

”Now, the power of life and death over you Fairy Tail is entirely in my hands. Letʼs see who in the enormous Fiore dares to help you!”

Future Rogue laughed wildly. What he had done today had made him feel incredibly powerful. He had to put his hands on his waist to show off his overwhelming strength.

”We wonʼt give up...”

Natsu dragged his broken body and stood upon the earth. With blood covering his face, he still did not know what the words ”give up” meant.

”Hahaha, you wonʼt give up! How noble of you! But they have all given up. What use is it if you donʼt give up?”

While asking Natsu, Future Rogue glanced at the group of Mages belonging to the Mage Guilds of the Kingdom of Fiore who were kneeling on the ground and did not dare attack him.

Rogue looked down on these Mages, and he likewise looked down on his counterpart in this world...

Because Rogue knew that if it were him, he would absolutely never kneel there like a dog.

At the same time, Rogue hated and feared Fairy Tail, because Rogue knew that he did not possess the powerful courage and perseverance of Natsu.

”Natsu-nii, Gajeel-nii, no matter which world or which time you come from! You guys seem to never know what giving up means!”

While Future Rogue sighed emotionally, he clenched his fists.

”Fairy Tail has already lost! This world belongs to me...”

After sighing emotionally for a while, Future Rogue shook his head with a smile. He coldly swept his gaze over Natsu and announced his victory.

”In this world, there is no one who can stop me anymore! And there is no one who can save Fairy Tail anymore!”

”Hahaha...”

Future Rogue laughed joyfully. He wanted to vent, to vent the humiliation of once being unable to save Fro. He wanted to vent, to vent the humiliation of once fleeing in disgrace before Acnologia. He wanted to vent!!

”Lucy, Lucy, Lucy...”

However, just as Future Rogue was laughing wildly, Lucy, who had originally collapsed in the ruins, had somehow walked before the already closed Eclipse Gate. Her eyes were empty. While gently stroking the Eclipse Gate, she picked up the scattered Zodiac Keys one after another.

”Please, someone... save Fairy Tail!”

Lucy hugged those Zodiac Keys, and suddenly tears streamed down her face.

It was precisely at the moment Lucy began to cry that the Zodiac Keys suddenly began emitting waves of golden light!

For a moment, magnificent pillars of light shot into the sky...

”What is this?!” Rogue, who had originally been laughing wildly, seemed to notice the reaction of the Eclipse Gate as well. As he turned around to look, his brows furrowed tightly, and he thought inwardly, ”How could this be? The magic power of the Eclipse Gate has clearly been exhausted. How could anyone possibly still open the Eclipse Gate? This doesnʼt make sense! If some girl can open the Eclipse Gate just by screaming once, then what meaning was there in the seven years I spent planning and collecting so much magic power?!”

Unfortunately, Rogue could never understand the significance of being the biological daughter of the Celestial Spirit King.

Perhaps Lucy truly did not possess enough magic power to open the Eclipse Gate, but the Celestial Spirit King did! The representative Celestial Spirits of the Zodiac also did. At this moment, the magic power consumed to open the Eclipse Gate did not come from Lucy, but from the keys themselves!

Thus, regardless of whether it made sense according to Rogueʼs logic or not, the Eclipse Gate had already slowly opened amid Lucyʼs cries...

”So what if you opened the Eclipse Gate! I told you, there is no one in this world who will come to save Fairy Tail! And no one can save Fairy Tail...”

Future Rogue no longer paid attention to Natsu, who was using all his strength merely to stand and breathe. Instead, he looked toward the Eclipse Gate Lucy had opened and shouted angrily.

”...”

As if responding to Future Rogueʼs words, although the Eclipse Gate had opened, nothing came out.

”Hahaha...”

”See?!”

At this point, Future Rogue laughed loudly, his mood incomparably delighted.

”...”

As for Lucy, she was kneeling before the Eclipse Gate at this moment, her head lowered, biting her lips tightly, her body trembling continuously.

”You said no one can save Fairy Tail?!”

”Youʼre right...”

”Indeed, no one can save the Fairy Tail Guild.”

”Because our Fairy Tail Guild doesnʼt need anyone else to save us! We have always saved ourselves...”

Just as Lucy, and even the members of the Fairy Tail Guild, were gritting their teeth and persevering, a voice suddenly sounded from within the gate.

The voice was not loud, yet it resounded within the heart of every person throughout the enormous Kingdom of Fiore...

”Who? Who is speaking?”

Future Rogue was instantly shocked. Just this move alone—a Mind Talk Magic that directly invaded his mind without needing his permission—was something he could not afford to ignore.

”Youʼre asking who we are?”

”Open your eyes wide and look carefully! We are... Fairy Tail!”

Just as Future Rogue was shocked, one Mage after another finally walked out of the opened Eclipse Gate. Standing at the head of these Mages was none other than Evan and the others, while behind Evan were naturally Natsu, Laxus, Erza, and the other people who represented the spirit of Fairy Tail.

”Fairy Tail?!”

When the Mages of Fairy Tail walked out of the Eclipse Gate one after another, Future Rogue was completely dumbfounded. He could not understand why Mages from the Fairy Tail Guild would emerge from within the Eclipse Gate.

”Rogue, surrender!”

It was also at this moment, when Future Rogue was dumbfounded, that he saw the two Lucys walking out from within the Eclipse Gate.

In an instant, Rogue understood everything.

”So thatʼs how it is. At some point in the future, Lucy used the Eclipse Gate to travel to the past and brought the Fairy Tail of the past here to help the Fairy Tail of the present?!”

”Hahaha, ridiculous! Even the Fairy Tail of the future was no match for me! So what can the Fairy Tail of the past do? But the even more ridiculous thing is that, in the end, is Fairy Tail the only one in the entire world willing to help Fairy Tail? Hahaha, this is too interesting! Then come on! I want to see how many lives you Fairy Tail have...”

Future Rogue laughed wildly. At this moment, he had already figured out exactly what had happened.

”Lucy, are you all right?”

On the other side, the two Lucys had already lifted up the Lucy who had collapsed on the ground.

”You are...”

At this moment, the Lucy who had opened the Eclipse Gate looked at the two people supporting her, whose faces were almost identical to hers. Her expression froze slightly. Even Lucy had never expected that the ones who would ultimately emerge from the Eclipse Gate to help their Fairy Tail would be Fairy Tail itself. Such a thing was simply too incredible.

”Donʼt worry, Lucy!”

”This time, we absolutely wonʼt lose...”

The two Lucys supported the injured Lucy from both sides, giving her a definite answer.

”Hahaha, this time there really are three Lucys!”

At the same time, Natsu looked at the three identical Lucys before him and laughed excitedly.

At the same time, Natsu also saw himself standing in a pool of blood: ”Is that me? I actually have two of me too! Thatʼs amazing...”

”Idiot! We traveled to another timeline. Itʼs normal for there to be two, or even multiple versions of ourselves!”

Gray looked at the shocked Natsu and explained helplessly.

”Is that so?!”

Natsu scratched his head suspiciously. To be honest, he had not understood Grayʼs meaning at all. He had not even known where he was going before coming here. He had merely heard that ten thousand dragons had invaded a world, and then he happily came running over.

”This guy really is a complete idiot!”

After hearing Natsuʼs words, Gray sighed helplessly.

”You bastards, how dare you ignore me?!”

On the other side, Future Rogue in the air saw the members of the Fairy Tail Guild who had emerged from the Eclipse Gate completely ignoring him, and he immediately became furious. His eyes were bloodshot as he roared at the Mages of Fairy Tail.

”Enchantment: Healing!”

However, no one paid any attention to Future Rogue! Irene even activated Healing Magic right in front of Rogue. In an instant, green magic power covered the entire Royal Capital!

”Our bodies have healed?!”

Immediately afterward, the members of the Fairy Tail Guild who had originally been powerless to fight stood up from the ground one after another. They were shocked to discover that all the injuries they had previously suffered had completely disappeared.

With merely a single Healing Magic spell, all the injured and critically wounded Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild in this world were directly saved.

”What?!” Future Rogue, flying high in the sky, looked at Irene who was recklessly saving the wounded. His expression first froze, and then he spoke in disbelief, ”What is this magic power? Itʼs simply more immense than a dragonʼs! How could humans possibly possess such enormous magic power? Are you kidding me?!”

”Enchantment: Durability! Enchantment: Strength! Enchantment: Speed! Enchantment...”

Immediately afterward, Irene used another Extreme Enchantment Magic, attaching countless buffs to the Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild.

”Ah! Power is continuously surging out from inside my body!”

”Iʼm burning up!!”

The two Natsus from the two worlds simultaneously erupted with flames, shouting excitedly.

”Haha...”

Immediately afterward, the two Natsus first looked at each other, then simultaneously leaped into the air and charged directly toward Future Rogueʼs dragon.

”Lightning Fire Dragon Mode!”

One of them, the Natsu who had originally been in a near-death state, directly activated Lightning Fire Dragon Mode. Two powerful elemental magics were instantly added to Natsuʼs body.

”Oh! Then Iʼll come too! Fire Dragon King Mode...”

On the other side, the Natsu from Evanʼs world had never experienced the process of emptying the magic power within his body to accept other elemental magic, so Natsu from Evanʼs world did not possess the element of lightning. However, when it came to the pure power of flames, Natsu from Evanʼs world was far stronger than the Natsu of this world!

Even without activating Fire Dragon King Mode, Natsu from Evanʼs world already possessed magic power that was not inferior to Laxus of this world.

”Lightning Fire Dragon...”

”Fire Dragon King...”

”...Crushing Fist!!”

Thus, in the sky, the two strengthened Natsus simultaneously launched attacks at the dragons.

”Hahaha! Foolish! In this world, the only ones capable of defeating dragons are dragons...”

Future Rogue did not care in the slightest. He laughed wildly, completely ignoring Natsuʼs attacks.

”Boom!”

However, accompanied by a thunderous roar, the result that ultimately appeared caused Future Rogueʼs eyes to widen.

First was Natsu, who had activated Lightning Fire Dragon Mode. His Crushing Fist directly caused the dragon he had targeted to cry out in pain and fall toward the ground. Although the power of this attack was insufficient to cause serious injuries to that dragon, without a doubt, Natsuʼs attack had worked against the dragon! This was no small matter. This was progress from zero to one!

However, what truly made Future Rogue feel fear was the Crushing Fist unleashed by Natsu in Fire Dragon King Mode...

As Natsu swung the Crushing Fist carrying the power of Igneel, something that Future Rogue had never once worried about happened right before Rogueʼs eyes! A dragon fell!

Yes, just as the words implied, under Ireneʼs enhancement, Natsu, who activated the Fire Dragon King Crushing Fist, directly punched through half of the dragonʼs body with one punch. Endless flames directly reaped the soul of that dragon!

The flames Natsu used were the flames of Fire Dragon King Igneel. The power of a Dragon King was not something an ordinary dragon could withstand...

”The dragon died?! How is that possible? What are you talking about? Dragons are supposed to be invincible!”

At this moment, Future Rogue stopped thinking. He stared blankly at the dead dragon.

”The dragon died! Dragons arenʼt invincible...”

This scene of a Dragon Slayer was also engraved into the eyes of the members of the Fairy Tail Guild, as well as the Mages of the other Mage Guilds of the Kingdom of Fiore.

For a moment, a strange emotion suddenly arose in everyoneʼs hearts! The reason they had given up resisting was because they could not resist. But if... dragons were not invincible?

Once this thought emerged, it would continuously grow wildly within everyoneʼs hearts!

Unfortunately, dragons truly were invincible, but dragons also had different levels...

How could the trash among dragons possibly deal with the kings among them?!

”There are 9,999 left!”

As for Natsu, who had eliminated the first dragon, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. He did not seem to care much about the fact that he had killed a dragon with one punch.

”Kill!”

Before Future Rogue could think any further, following a loud roar from a Fairy Tail member on the ground, one Dragon Slayer Mage after another rolled up their sleeves and charged toward the dragons in the sky!

”Donʼt let that brat Natsu steal all the glory!”

”That brat Natsu isnʼt even ranked among the top fighters of Fairy Tail!”

Erza drew the katana in her hand, commanding the Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild like a queen as they launched attacks toward the dragons in the sky.

”Donʼt let those fairies get ahead of us! Donʼt forget, we are the Dragon Slayer Mages!”

On the other side, the Dragon Eaters of the Mage Guild Diabolos looked at the Mages of Fairy Tail attacking the sky and unwillingly roared. They had to prove themselves. Perhaps they would not be the opponents of Fairy Tail in the Grand Magic Games, but when it came to Dragon Slaying... they were the professionals!

”Theyʼre crazy! Theyʼre all crazy!”

At this moment, Future Rogue stood atop the head of the Vajra Dragon, staring at the Dragon Slayer Mages who leaped into the air one after another and fearlessly attacked his dragons, and he was completely dumbfounded.

However, the advantage was still on Future Rogueʼs side. Although Diabolos had many Dragon Slayer Mages, only a tiny number could actually injure or even kill dragons!

After all, even the most ordinary adult dragon possessed magic power at the level of the Heavenly King or even an entry-level Spriggan 12. According to Evanʼs system, they were at Level Nine or Level Ten.

Some elite dragons, especially the Steel Dragon beneath Future Rogueʼs feet, which ranked among the foremost dragons beneath the Dragon King level, possessed power that completely overwhelmed ordinary dragons. According to Evanʼs system, the magic power of these elite dragons was enough to reach Level Twelve or even Level Thirteen!

They could be said to be quite powerful...

Of course, dragons like these were only a minority among the ten thousand dragons, with merely a few dozen of them...

”Rogue, thereʼs no need to panic. That human merely borrowed the power of our Dragon Clanʼs kings. He cannot use it for long. At most, after killing one or two dragons, he will reach his limit! Moreover, that level of flame has no meaning to me, Vajra Dragon Masergreia...”

Just as Rogue was thinking, the dragon beneath his feet, Masergreia, suddenly spoke to Rogue above him.

”Hm?!”

After hearing Masergreiaʼs words, Rogue froze slightly before nodding forcefully.

”Right, Masergreia, youʼre right! Thereʼs no need for me to panic!”

Rogue was startled at first, then immediately became smug.

”Hahahaha...”

”Hahaha! Nearly ten thousand dragons against several hundred people! The advantage is mine!”

Future Rogue, whose mentality had originally been gradually collapsing because of Natsuʼs Fire Dragon King Crushing Fist, once again laughed loudly after seeing that the Dragon Eater Guildʼs magic had little effect on his dragons and receiving Masergreiaʼs confirmation, shouting excitedly.

”You bunch of ants! So what if you luckily killed one dragon?!”

”This world is still mine, mine!!”

”As long as I possess these dragons, you are absolutely no match for me! Hahaha...”

Future Rogue laughed joyfully. He knew that Natsu was the special one among these people. The others did not possess power as strong as Natsuʼs.

”9,998, 9,997... 9,991!”

However, just as Future Rogue revealed a victorious smile, a black light suddenly flew into the sky. The person had long blue hair and wore a black cloak. As the man flew into the sky, his figure was revealed amid the raging wind. Surprisingly, the man had only one arm, yet with merely this one arm, he killed eight dragons in a short instant!

Yes, the man was killing dragons as casually as swatting mosquitoes, instantly swatting eight dragons to death.

Seeing this, Future Rogue patted the head of the Vajra Dragon Masergreia beneath him and asked, ”Masergreia, can you perform an attack like that too?!”

”Hmm...”

Masergreia fell silent upon hearing this. Although his strength was indeed far greater than that of ordinary dragons, he was actually not skilled at attacking. What he was best at was defense. An attack that killed an ordinary dragon with one punch was something he could indeed accomplish, but he absolutely could not do it as effortlessly and casually as that human.

”I can!”

”The opponent is probably a Flame Dragon who is relatively skilled in combat! A mere Flame Dragon cannot break through my defense.”

However, Masergreia still gave Future Rogue an affirmative answer.

”Phew...”

After hearing this, Future Rogue immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

”Too slow...”

However, the man seemed dissatisfied with such a speed. He still found it too slow, so he suddenly took a deep breath toward the sky. Instantly, countless magic power converged toward the manʼs mouth.

”Demon Dragonʼs Roar!!”

The man released one of his Roars toward the sky. Terrifying light illuminated the entire night sky. Endless radiance shot dozens of kilometers into the distance, and wherever it passed, dragons fell one after another!

With a single Roar, more than a hundred dragons were slaughtered!

Following the manʼs Roar, the entire sky fell silent...

The man was none other than Acnologia! At this moment, Acnologia did not call himself the Dragon King, because he wanted to recreate the Dragon King Festival and use the blood of these dragons to wash away the curse upon his body. At present, he was like that Demon Dragon who had only just begun his path toward becoming king.

”What are you talking about?!”

At this moment, Future Rogue, standing atop the Vajra Dragonʼs head, was already dumbfounded. He could not understand why someone in this world could actually eliminate hundreds of dragons with merely a single Roar?!

”This kind of Roar, can you release it too, Masergreia?”

After Future Rogue was slightly shocked, he immediately asked Masergreia beneath him.

”...”

Masergreia did not answer Future Rogue, because he too had been shocked by that Roar just now.

”Flame Dragon Godʼs...”

”Moon Dragon Godʼs...”

”...Roar!”

However, just as Future Rogue was confused, two more Roars shot into the sky. In an instant, more than two hundred dragons fell from the sky. A hundred of them had their bodies burned through by flames at the Dragon King level, while another hundred dragons seemed like they were playing a match-three mobile game and directly vanished from the world the instant they touched the light.

One Roar was the ultimate rule of flames, while the other Roar was the ultimate comprehension of spatial magic!

”Uh...”

At this moment, Future Rogue was completely frightened silly. If one person could eliminate a hundred dragons with a single Roar, he could still deceive himself, thinking that the opponent was a special existence. However, if there was only one such powerful enemy, he had more dragons on his side! And there was also the Vajra Dragon Masergreia, whose defense was invincible and who could be called the crown of the Dragon Clan...

But when two, three people on the enemyʼs side could all use that terrifying Roar, Future Rogue was completely stunned. A thought suddenly emerged in his heart: Could he, Rogue, really defeat Fairy Tail?!

”No! I, Rogue, must win! Mere Fairy Tail, I can suppress them with the back of my hand!”

The moment this thought arose in Future Rogueʼs heart, his expression changed drastically. He then directly crushed the thought in his heart. Only Rogue himself knew how much he had sacrificed to reach this point. He absolutely could not be frightened away by merely a few Roars.

”Azure Dragonʼs Roar!”

However, just as Rogue gathered his courage and prepared to face his powerful enemies!

Evan, who had originally not intended to make a move, suddenly took a deep breath after hearing Future Rogueʼs words. Immediately afterward, endless light illuminated the entire sky!

That terrifying light was like the sharp scythe of the God of Death. The moment something touched the light, it represented death, whether it was an ordinary dragon or an elite dragon!

No matter how powerful the dragon was, it appeared weak and powerless before this attack. In merely this instant, that sharp scythe of the God of Death directly eliminated one-tenth of the dragons present.

After that blade-like attack that seemed capable of piercing through the world disappeared, the entire scene became even quieter.

”How is this possible?!”

Future Rogue stood atop the back of the Vajra Dragon, unable to believe everything before his eyes. In his daze, he looked toward the ground and saw that the young man who had released the Roar was saying something to him.

”Ant~”

Future Rogue did not know the exact word, but there was a word he could roughly guess, because that was the word he had just used himself. That word was naturally ”ant.”

For a moment, Future Rogue felt that his lips were somewhat dry. The invincible powerhouse he had imagined himself to be was merely an ant in the eyes of an even stronger powerhouse!

”Masergreia...”

Faced with this, Future Rogue could only pray that the Vajra Dragon Masergreia beneath his feet was strong enough.

”Ah...”

However, Masergreia did not respond after hearing Rogue call his name, because he himself had been frightened silly by that Roar just now.

”How could a human possibly release a Roar that surpasses the Dragon Kings?!”

Masergreia muttered to himself. He wondered whether he could withstand that Roar if it were him.

However, Masergreiaʼs answer did not even need to be considered, because the Roar just now could not even be endured by Earth Dragon God Dogramag, who stood at the pinnacle of the mineral-type Dragon Clan, let alone a mere Vajra Dragon Masergreia?!

”Rogue, that person up there looks a lot like you~”

”Could that guy be your future self? Hahaha, this is really interesting. I didnʼt expect your ambitions to be so great, Rogue?!”

At the same time, among the Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild.

Laxus had his arm draped over the shoulder of the Mage who had been sent into the Great Labyrinth by Evan a few days ago and claimed to be Rogue, while smiling as he asked Rogue.

”This...”

After hearing Laxusʼs words, Future Rogue of Evanʼs worldʼs lips twitched slightly. He then directly raised an international friendly gesture toward the Future Rogue in the sky of this world and angrily shouted, ”Bastard! You actually went to the same beauty salon as me and got the exact same makeover! You deliberately ruined my reputation! I, Rogue, swear that I will never coexist under the same sky as you bastards!”

Following Future Rogue of Evanʼs world speaking, everyone around him was shocked. If one wanted to talk about shamelessness, it still had to be the Future Rogue of their world! His determination to endure was simply far stronger than that of Future Rogue of this world...

However, at this moment, Future Rogue, who had unfortunately traveled to Evanʼs world, was completely numb!

”These ten thousand dragons are way too weak, arenʼt they?!”

”If theyʼre this weak, what the hell am I even playing for?! I might as well find the time to return to my own world and enjoy myself...”

To be honest, Future Rogue of Evanʼs world had originally planned that after seven years, when the Kingdom of Fiore had collected enough magic power, he would consider turning against them, summon ten thousand dragons, and give Fairy Tail a surprise!

However, after this unfortunate Future Rogue who had traveled to Evanʼs world saw the scene of another worldʼs version of himself summoning ten thousand dragons and still getting beaten senseless, he chose to lie flat~

Sigh, one must learn to lie flat while alive. Since one cannot resist, it is better to silently enjoy...

As long as Rogue surrendered quickly enough, there would be no enemy stronger than him.

”Donʼt kneel! The Dragon King is already gone, so what are you kneeling for? All of you, get up!”

On the other side, when Evan saw the members of the Fiore Kingdomʼs Royal Family and the Mages of the Kingdom of Fiore who were still kneeling and had completely failed to react to what had happened, his brows immediately furrowed. He flew before the group and spoke in a deep voice.

”Uh...”

It seemed that once they had knelt down, getting back up was difficult. Following Evanʼs words, no one reacted. At this moment, they still stared blankly at everything before them.

”Get up!”

Evan was helpless. With a wave of his hand, gravity descended upon everyone, pulling them to their feet. He then directly sent this group of people to a place far away from the battlefield, essentially clearing away some obstacles! Of course, what happened afterward was none of Evanʼs concern. After all, their knees belonged to themselves. If someone insisted on kneeling, Evan could think of a way to make them stand, but he still could not make them stand. In the end, it was simply thankless effort.

After Evan resolved the problem of this group of Mages with a wave of his hand, he looked toward the dragons in the sky. At this moment, the battle was still extremely intense, after all, their side was simply too small in number.

However, it was also time to end this battle...

”Roar!!”

Just as Evan thought this, the sky suddenly became covered with countless dark clouds.

”Roar!!”

Following a dragon roar from Evanʼs mouth, Acnologia, Igneel, and Selene roared in unison.

The next second, dragon scales simultaneously covered the bodies of the four people. Then, accompanied by waves of transformation, four dragons appeared above all the other dragons just like that!

One of those four dragons was completely black and covered in blue patterns, with a pair of black demonic wings unlike those of an ordinary dragon. Although one arm was severed, it looked even more ferocious and imposing!

Another was entirely red, its crimson scales seeming to have magma slowly flowing across them. Its face was ferocious, its fangs exposed. Just by looking at its appearance, one could tell that this dragon was not a good one!

Beside that crimson dragon was a beautiful nine-tailed white fox. A faint golden-yellow radiance emanated from the white foxʼs fur. Even though the sky was currently covered by dark clouds, everyone seemed to see a full moon hanging high in the sky.

However, what made all the dragons and Future Rogue feel the most horrified was that behind those three dragons, within the dark clouds, there seemed to be some colossal creature slowly swimming through the clouds...

From time to time, Future Rogue and the other dragons could see certain parts of that colossal creature, whether scales, its waist, or abdomen, weaving through the clouds and continuously moving back and forth...

However, after waiting for a while, Future Rogue and the dragons still could not see the head or tail of that colossal creature! For a moment, Rogue and the dragons he had summoned all became nervous. It was difficult for them to imagine just how enormous a dragon could be if they could not even see its head or tail?!

Although a small-bodied dragon was not necessarily weak, a gigantic dragon was definitely not weak! This was common knowledge among the Dragon Clan...

”This is troublesome!”

At the same time, the Vajra Dragon beneath Future Rogue suddenly spoke.

”Masergreia, how strong are those dragons?!”

Future Rogue gently stroked the body of the Vajra Dragon Masergreia beneath him and asked.

”They are completely on a different level from me!”

”Even if I fight with all my strength, I cannot injure them...”

”However, itʼs truly surprising. When did our Dragon Clan have so many Dragon Kings?!”

Although the Vajra Dragon Masergreia really wanted to tell Future Rogue that they were merely a few dragons and that he could easily defeat them, the truth was that the magic power of those four dragons was more terrifying and more exaggerated than the last. The most exaggerated of all was the dragon hiding behind the clouds. Just its mere existence there made him feel a burst of dread and despair.

”What?!”

After hearing Masergreiaʼs words, Future Rogue froze in place. All four dragons on the other side were Dragon Kings?!

”Wait, that black dragon with a severed arm isnʼt Acnologia?!”

At the same time, Future Rogue finally noticed Acnologiaʼs figure. His expression changed drastically, and Rogueʼs mind once again recalled the memories he had tried so many times to forget.

”Boom!!”

Just as Rogue stared blankly at Acnologiaʼs figure, accompanied by a burst of flames, two boys with cherry-pink short hair landed atop the head of the Masergreia beneath him, facing him directly.

”Natsu!”

Rogue looked at the newcomers with tightly furrowed brows.

”Finally made it up!”

The two cherry-pink-haired boys opposite Rogue revealed ferocious grins.

”Roar!”

On the other side, the dragons including Evan also launched attacks against the dragons filling the sky.

In fact, most of the dragons summoned by Rogue were only around ten to twenty meters long! Very few had bodies comparable in size to Dragon Kings such as Acnologia and the others!

Most of them were merely a bunch of insignificant small fry, not even as big as Evanʼs palm!

Before Dragon Kings such as Acnologia, they were simply incapable of putting up any resistance.

At present, the situation of Acnologia, Selene, and Ignia was like fully armed special forces soldiers driving armored vehicles against a group of newborn babies. The difference was simply too great, and there was absolutely no comparison.

With the entry of Evan and the other dragons, besides the battle between Erza and the others and the dragons, and the battle between Future Rogue and the two Natsus, a battle between dragons and dragons had now been added!

For a moment, this war between dragons and humans, humans and humans, and dragons and dragons erupted above the Flower Capital of Crocus, the Kingdom of Fiore!

However, perhaps it was a coincidence, but in this same sky above the Crocus arena, which had now become a dragon graveyard, a war like todayʼs had also occurred four hundred years ago. It was known as the Dragon King Festival!
