Longevity by Picking up Attributes in the Battlefield

Chapter 571: Chapter 237: Ying Zheng’s Excitement! Charging into the Barbarian Royal Court! (Part 2)

”These two thousand, you will personally command.”

”This mission is extremely dangerous, a slight misstep could lead to being surrounded by foreign tribes and ultimately wiped out.” Zhao Feng said solemnly.

”As a soldier of the Qin Army, I am not afraid of death.”

”To be able to severely wound the foreign tribes together with the Senior General, and ensure the peace of Shenzhou, is worth it.” Zhang Han immediately bowed.

”I do not want you to die; I want all of you to live.”

”Your task is to attract the foreign tribes; do not engage them in battle.” Zhao Feng instructed sternly.

”I understand.” Zhang Han nodded promptly.

”Very well.”

”In this battle with the foreign tribes, their main force will soon arrive.”

”Drive the warhorses over and mount them.”

”Move out.” Zhao Feng waved his hand.

”Yes.”

Zhang Han bowed and turned towards the prepared two thousand Qin Cavalry.

”Brothers.”

”The pivotal moment has arrived today.”

”As long as you attract the foreign tribes, I will lead the troops to breach the Eastern Barbarian Royal Court.”

”In this battle.”

”I have already led the soldiers to destroy more than ten foreign tribes, causing great losses to the foreign tribes.”

”As long as the Eastern Barbarian Royal Court is destroyed this time, the foreign tribes named Donghu will not invade our Shenzhou of Qin for five years.”

”If this battle succeeds, all soldiers will share the glory; you will become the heroes of Qin, and the heroes of the Huaxia ethnicity.” Zhao Feng shouted with authority at the two thousand assembled Sharp Warriors.

”Swear to follow the Senior General to death.”

The two thousand soldiers raised their spears and shouted.

”Zhang Han.”

”Lead the troops yourself, go.” Zhao Feng shouted.

”Senior General.”

”Take care.”

Zhang Han cupped his fists and bowed to Zhao Feng.

”Senior General, take care.”

The two thousand Sharp Warriors cupped their fists and bowed as well.

Zhao Feng returned the salute with a serious gaze.

”Charge.”

Zhang Han shouted, leading the two thousand Sharp Warriors towards the direction of the Tu’an State in the east.

Meanwhile.

With over ten thousand captured warhorses from this battle and prior battles, driven by two thousand Sharp Warriors, they set off together.

The vast land was left with countless hoofprints of the warhorses, all galloping towards the east.

This was Zhao Feng’s intention.

Using Zhang Han’s two thousand Sharp Warriors as bait, to lure the foreign tribes’ army eastward.

While Zhao Feng would lead the remaining soldiers in a surprise attack on the Eastern Barbarian Royal Court.

And these captured ten thousand warhorses would leave even more hoofprints; as long as the King of Donghu acted clever, they would surely pursue.

If they do not pursue.

Then Zhao Feng could only continue to attack.

”The army sets out, target, Eastern Barbarian Royal Court.”

”Leave five hundred brothers to cover the rear, clear the hoofprints for one li.” Zhao Feng said solemnly.

”Yes.”

The generals beside him replied in unison.

Then the army set out, splitting into two groups.

...

Where the Eastern Hu army is located.

”Report.”

”Reporting to the Great King.”

”Found traces of the Qin Army.”

”Only a few front-line warriors returned after engaging with the Qin Army.”

A commander hurried to report to the King of Donghu.

”Finally caught this bunch of scoundrels.” The King’s eyes flashed with hatred.

These months.

The Qin Army acted like a cat playing with mice, crazily destroying foreign tribes, crazily slaughtering.

Although the Eastern Hu army had spread out, it was like finding a needle in a haystack, impossible to locate.

Every time some traces were found, they chased after, but the Qin Army had already retreated.

”Great King.”

”Please give the order.”

”I wish to wash away the shame and annihilate the Qin Army completely.” Wu Wu stepped forward, filled with hatred.

Behind him.

Numerous commanders of Eastern Hu shared the same sentiment, filled with hatred.

Zhao Feng led his troops in a surprise attack on Eastern Hu.

Destroyed dozens of tribes, varying in size.

Wherever they went, it was a massacre.

Among this lot were the relatives and even families of these Eastern Hu commanders who were slaughtered by the Qin Army.

”This time, they won’t escape.”

”Our army formation has spread out; they won’t escape even with wings.” The King of Donghu said with a cold face.

Then waved his hand.

”All warriors heed the command.”

”Surround the Qin Army and tear them to pieces.” The King of Donghu shouted.

”Kill!!”

”Kill, kill all Qin people.”

”Kill!”

Behind the King of Donghu.

Tens of thousands of Eastern Hu soldiers spread out, few were cavalry, mostly were infantry, pursuing the Qin Army ahead.

The army covered the sky, the earth trembled under this formation.

This time.

The King of Donghu had mobilized the forces of the entire tribe.

Four to five hundred thousand strong army.

All aimed at exterminating the Qin army that infiltrated his Eastern Hu territory.

They carried the flames of revenge.

As they collided with the original site of Qin Cavalry and their Vanguard Army’s engagement, thousands of corpses lay in pools of blood, many warhorses struck dead by volleys of arrows.

But the surviving warhorses had disappeared.

”Damn Qin people.”

Witnessing the slaughter once more, the King of Donghu’s eyes were blood-red.

These months.

The King of Donghu had witnessed this scene many times.

Tribes burned to wastelands, tribes completely slaughtered.

His tribesmen had been slaughtered by Qin into the hundreds of thousands.

This hatred, this humiliation, this grudge, the King of Donghu had already vowed, if revenge is not taken, he would end his own life.

”Great King.”

”The Qin Army escaped towards the east.” A commander reported to the King of Donghu.

”Hmm.”

The King of Donghu nodded, eyes revealing killing intent: ”Chase, make the effort day and night, you must catch up to them.”

”Great King.”

”Could the Qin Army escape in a different direction?” Wu Wu reminded aloud.

”At this moment, could they dare to escape to the west, which is the heartland of our tribe? They are now jittery, would they dare escape westwards?”

”As for the north.”

”Now it’s already winter, heading north is suicidal.”

”Only eastward, through Tu’an, then south into Qin.”

”This is their chance to escape.”

The King of Donghu chuckled coldly.
