Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Aquarina could still recall Svana’s insane ramblings which made little sense to her, she always thought this woman had several screws loose.

Unlike Sylphy though, who kept her thoughts to herself, she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to just tell her she was insane.

“Gravity is one of the greatest forces of nature and the world, it keeps everything down and together,” Svana once told her. “You must master gravity by not letting it affect you! The heavier the object and the farther it falls from above, the more damage it takes, is it not? You must become like a diamond, even when that’s the case, it will not break or chip away.”

“You’re insane! I won’t do that! Do you want me to break my legs every time?! How is this training!”

“Hahaha! You’re just like your mother!” Svana laughed. “Dear Aquarina, you simply have to imbue Mana into your entire body at the same time as you fall and reinforce it to your limits, create layers within layers! Like this, look.”

Svana encompassed her entire body with a golden aura of Mana, which then created a hundred, thin layers.

Then she jumped off into the canyon, which was probably like five to six hundred meters deep. ВАААМ!

And she landed into the ground with her legs, her entire body unfazed.

“Like this! See?!”

She screamed incredibly loudly, her voice reaching all the way up somehow!

“S-She’s fine?! I thought we had flying spells for this! Why do I have to train in case I fall?!” “Sometimes falling is the best weapon, use gravity for your own advantage, Aquarina! Don’t you remember all the times I’ve crushed my foes by jumping really high and crushing them? No bones were broken ever… Once this training is done, your bones, especially your legs, will become as tough as the hardest of metals.”

“Y-You’re crazy mom… Everyone is crazy!”

Eventually, even though she complained a lot for several days, ultimately…

We went through it, all for Sylphy.

“Sylphy please pray for me…”

Aquarina closed her eyes as she gathered her Mana and then jumped.

The result, as stated earlier, was atrocious, her legs broke…

However, it wasn’t half bad, the rest of her body was fine, which gave Svana the insight that she had a good control of her balance.

Then, over and over and over and over again…

For several days, weeks, months.

This was beyond barbaric, yet…

Ultimately, between pain, fear, and madness, Aquarina ultimately…

ВАААМ!

“Hahh… Ouch.”

It still hurt. Her legs almost broke. But they didn’t break anymore. She actually managed to do it like Svana and her mother.

And it only took her… three months.

“Another ridiculous training done, thankfully…”

She was very wrong, the next day she was told to jump off the canyon a hundred times per day. Per day!

She was going insane.

“You’re all insane! You’re all crazy! Aaahh!”

Yet she still did it.

And repeatedly did it.

Over and over again!

It was madness, utter madness.

But Aquarina knew that this was the only quick method to get so strong.

And this was only the second training.

The third was perhaps more ridiculous.

“You’ll go to that nearby mountain and carve a cave with your bare hands. No weapon, no gauntlets or magic, your bare hands, just your Aura.”

“W-What?!”

She had to carve a cave that went from one side to the other through a whole mountain.

The mountain was roughly five kilometers tall, and it was called “The Old Joe” by many.

Why? She had no freaking idea.

However, she took three days to climb the Old Joe, and then…

“I-I have to do this with my bare hands… okay, sure… whatever!” Aquarina had already been embracing the madness of these people. She began punching the mountain slowly, one punch at a time.

Then she realized punching would break her fists, so she tried doing something else.

She used her fingers and carved the stone out, as if they were claws.

Imbuing her Aura around her fingers wasn’t enough though, her nails would eventually come out and her flesh would begin ripping apart.

She had to enhance her body even further, the same enhancement she did for her legs and her

back.

Back then, she struggled to even get through a hundred meters through the mountain.

Her hands were bleeding, and she lost all her nails…

“Hahhh… my hands, fuck…”

Her spirits constantly healed her with their best spells, water was a good healing magic, so they were able to help her hands recover over time.

Yet it was agonizingly painful, as hands were one of the most sensitive areas in the body.

She had to make her hands as tough as steel, no, tougher than that even.

Days after days, weeks after weeks.

Aquarina’s sole company were her spirits and Pyuku, whom she relied for water and food.

She would sometimes go and hunt a huge monster to roast and eat, other times, they would bring her fruits and roots to supplement her nutrition.

“Hahh… This is for Sylphy… and my friends…”

“I have to keep going, without end.”

“I can’t stop… I have to keep going…”

“Neverendingly… don’t stop!”

Thinking about Sylphy and her friends constantly, Aquarina fueled her heart with the

motivation to do the most torturous of trials and trainings.

Especially of Sylphy, every night when she felt lonely, she would think of her…

“Sylphy… I miss your hands… I miss your touch… I want to smell your hair and kiss your lips…

Sylphy…”

Her beautiful smile, her long red hair, her bright green eyes.

And her soothing voice.

At one point, Aquarina began to hallucinate.

“You can do it Aquarina…”

She could even hear Sylphy’s voice.

“I’m with you…”

She felt as if Sylphy was hugging her from behind.

“I know you can do it…”

Eventually…

After a month and a half…

Crack, crack…!

CRASH!

She came through the other half of the mountain.

The darkness of the caves was finally illuminated.

As Aquarina’s face was bathed by the soothing sunlight of the morning, and the cold winds of

the mountains.

“Hahh… Hahh… I did… it?!”

She fell to her knees, as she started to cry.

“I did it…”

She continued crying as she hit the mountain with her fists.

“Uuuaaaaahhhh!”

And then she screamed loudly, so loudly her voice reverberated and echoed through the many

mountains.

The people down below the summit could hear her scream.

“I DID IT!!! FUCK YOU! YOU STUPID FUCKING MOUNTAIN!”

Unfortunately, she wasn’t well mannered…

“Hahaha… well, that’s her.” Her mother laughed.

“Well done, Aquarina,” nodded Svana. “Now, to the next trial!”

The fourth trial, and the harshest so far, pushed Aquarina to her limits and even beyond that.

After having survived falling for hundreds of times from a canyon, carrying four monoliths with her entire body while running around the village three hundred times.

And then having to carve through a mountain with her bare hands and get to the other way…

what could be even worse than that?

The last trial that took her the last two months to do…

“You will be buried under ten kilometers of rubble. And you will carve your way out with your

bare hands. This will put everything you’ve learned and combine it…”

“EH?!”

Back then, Aquarina felt like hitting Svana in the head with a rock.

This was just burying her alive!
