”… What’s a collab?”

It’s an honest question, really. This whole situation with Serafall Leviathan showing up out of nowhere had been quite… fraught at first, but now it seems like they’re actually somehow getting on the same page. Amadeus would have thought, based on what Grayfia had said, that interacting with even a single Satan would be a very bad idea.

… But Serafall seemed to have mellowed out somewhat in the last five hundred years. There hadn’t even been a bit of ice magic thrown around in spite of her initial threatening demeanor. And once she realized who they actually were, she’d been downright friendly.

His question though… it provokes an interesting reaction. Serafall blinks in surprise and then narrows her eyes at him thoughtfully. Amadeus arches a brow and looks to Grayfia, but she seems just as confused as him about the strange word. Huntrix however…

”Oh! A ’collab’ is short for collaboration, Amadeus. Basically, she wants us to get together and make art with her.”

Zoey’s explanation clears up any confusion, even as Serafall stays quiet. Amadeus, meanwhile, perks up immediately.

”Oh! That does sound like it could be a lot of fun actually… though only if you girls are interested. I don’t know nearly enough about all of this to make that decision for you.”

When Serafall doesn’t make any sort of fuss over Amadeus allowing his new peerage members to make their own decisions, he’s secretly quite pleased. To be fair, he’s well aware that her side of the Civil War five hundred years ago was the side that promoted more independence and freedom among devils and less pure sycophancy and submission to those at the top.

However, five hundred years was a long time and it wouldn’t have surprised Amadeus if the power had corrupted her. Once you were used to getting your way, it was hard not to expect to always get your way after all.

Meanwhile, Rumi, Zoey, and Mira all exchange considering looks. None of them is immediately against the idea, but it’s clear that they’re giving it a good, hard think.

”… I mean, her show is pretty popular in Japan.”

”Yeah, and we’ve been having a hard time keeping our numbers up there, haven’t we?”

”Well, only because of them. But it’s not like they’re beating us anywhere else. Still… yeah, could be worth it.”

Amadeus arches a brow as they all come to a decision and turn back with Rumi taking the lead.

”So long as Amadeus is alright with it, we’ll be happy to collaborate with you. You’ll need to talk to our manager Bobby about the details though. He’s in charge of that sort of thing. And he won’t let us be taken advantage of either.”

Serafall beams brightly, shaking her head.

”Of course! No ’taking advantage’ here! You guys will be the main focus of the episode, and also the heroines alongside me! It’ll be a crossover… in fact, we could be really silly about it and have you all play not just yourselves, but also your demon hunting alter egos, visiting to help with a demon problem!”

Oh? That did sound rather entertaining, even if some of the terminology continued to go right over Amadeus’ head. Episode? Crossover? Eh, it’d probably be fine… Rumi certainly seems to be taking it seriously!

”Like I said, discuss it with Bobby. But… yeah, that sort of ’storyline’ wouldn’t necessarily be out of the question. Everyone will just think its fictional anyways, after all…”

Zoey nods along, looking intrigued, while Mira just huffs and crosses her arms over her chest. Serafall looks almost hungry as her eyes dart between the three young women for a moment… then, she seems to remember herself and pulls back.

”Right, right... talk to the manager. Bobby. Will do! Ah… this is going to be so much fun. In the meantime though…”

Serafall whips around to Amadeus so fast that Grayfia tenses up like she wants to leap in front of him again. The garishly dressed Satan’s previously cheery expression morphs into something of deadly seriousness as she meets Amadeus’ gaze.

”Do everything in your power to keep out of Lucrezah’s sight, alright? The longer we can keep her unaware of you two, the better.”

Hm, part of Amadeus wondered if that was even true. If things had turned out alright with Serafall, did they even really need to keep hiding from the New Satans? They literally had a New Satan in their corner now from the sound of things!

Still, he’s willing to abide by Serafall’s demands for now, he supposes. Shrugging, Amadeus nods.

”Sure, I’ll do the best I can.”

Serafall narrows her eyes at that, like ’the best he can’ isn’t good enough. But before she can speak, Grayfia pipes up.

”My Master’s movements will not be restricted by your demands, Satan Leviathan. Lord Valefor will not submit himself to anyone… not even you.”

Well said, Grayfia! Though Amadeus might have put it a little bit more gently. Still, Serafall’s eyes dart between him and the love of his life for a moment before she pulls back and slowly nods.

”Alright… yeah… got it. Okay well with all of that taken care of, I should probably go. Don’t want anyone to get too suspicious! Don’t worry though, I’ll make sure that even if anyone does find out Huntrix has been reincarnated, they won’t look too closely at things. You can count on me, teehee~”

With that slightly ominous farewell, Serafall makes a strange sign with two fingers next to her head, winks, and then does a literal twirl before vanishing in a display of devil magic. Amadeus stares after her for a moment before the weight of the night actually starts to hit him.

Holy shit… this was still the same night where Zoey threatened him with magic throwing knives, wasn’t it? That felt like a veritable lifetime ago, but it had only been a few hours. So much had happened, so much more than any other deal Amadeus had made yet.

But of course, this deal he’d made with Rumi was undeniably his biggest deal yet given she and her friends had joined his peerage… and turned out to be one of if not the most popular musical group in the entire human world!

Either way… he decides then and there he’s pretty much done with today.

”Alright girls… Grayfia and I are going to head back to the Underworld, I think. We’ll return in the morning… or around midday maybe. That works for you all, I hope?”

The three young women all exchange looks at that before Rumi finally says what they’re all thinking.

”Do we not… go with you? We’re supposed to be members of your peerage now, right?”

Amadeus thinks about the small safehouse that he and Grayfia have been living in. It’d be a bit cramped and a whole lot lower quality than what these three are used to dealing with, he thinks. It would probably make more sense for him and Grayfia to stay here, given the size of the tower and the space.

However, he then thinks about what he’s already had to deal with tonight… namely, their budding attraction to him and Grayfia’s attempt to push them all into ’earning’ the right to join him in bed. In the end… Amadeus wants to give the Huntrix girls space so they can come down from the emotional highs they’re probably all riding and hopefully process everything that happened so far in a healthy manner.

So… he shakes his head.

”It’s fine, we’ll be back tomorrow like I said. And besides, just because you’re members of my peerage doesn’t mean you’re slaves or anything like that. You can still have your own lives and enjoy your own comforts. As well…”

Amadeus pauses here for dramatic effect before giving Grayfia a distinct ’look’.

”Grayfia and I still need to have a talk about what took place earlier.”

He’d postponed her punishment after all, but he couldn’t hold off forever…

That bit seems to do it as all three girls blush in unison and mumble out agreement. Amadeus eyes them all queerly for a brief second before shrugging and gesturing to Grayfia.

”Let’s go home, Grayfia.”

”Of course, Master.”

A moment later and the two of them vanish from the penthouse common area the same as Serafall did. Landing back in the Valefor Safe House… Amadeus does find himself comparing the two spaces and finding one of them definitely wanting.

Sure, the Valefor Safe House has a certain older, traditional dignity to it… and Grayfia has done a superb job of keeping up with the cleaning over the past five hundred years. However, it still doesn’t hold a candle to the wondrous modern delights that he’d seen in Huntrix’s tower.

He doesn’t focus too hard on that though, instead turning to Grayfia and arching a brow. Immediately, she bows her head and looks to the floor.

”Again, my deepest apologies for overstepping, my lord. I should never have acted without your express permission.”

Amadeus grimaces.

”… It’s just the two of us now, Grayfia. Please try to talk to me normally. While I am upset with you… I’m honestly wondering why more than anything else. Why would you try and… recruit them for sex with me like that? You know you’re all I need, right?”

Grayfia slowly lifts her gaze, frowning slightly. Finally, she shakes her head.

”… You deserve more, Amadeus. More than just one lowly maid to grace your bed. You deserve as many women as possible.”

Amadeus opens his mouth… and then closes it, just staring at her for a long moment. Grayfia sounds so earnest. She believes every word. That’s…

”Besides, you don’t understand the effect you have on people. Even Serafall couldn’t ignore it completely, though I know she tried to. You are… exceedingly attractive. There are those who will try and seduce their way into your bed simply because of how gorgeous you are. There are those who might even try to take you for themselves, to attempt to possess you at all costs.”

Wait, what? What was Grayfia saying? Sure… his appearance had been commented on a lot tonight, but surely he wasn’t that much more attractive than any other devil, right?

”I was wrong to overstep and attempt to put conditions on those girls joining your bed… but I do not think I’m wrong to push them to pursue you. They would pursue you either way, and it is this humble servant’s opinion that you should allow them to do so.”

Amadeus just stares at Grayfia for a long while after that. She stands absolutely still, not squirming under his gaze even slightly. Indeed, she’s positively serene… and clearly adequately possessed of her conviction on this matter.

Finally, he just sighs.

”… Please bend over the bed, Grayfia.”

He’d been thinking about how to properly discipline Grayfia for her trespass ever since he said he would. Obviously, he didn’t want it to be anything too harsh… she was still the love of his life after all. However, she was also his head maid and in that capacity, she had definitely overstepped just like she kept saying.

So with that in mind… as Grayfia moves to the bend and rigidly bends over it for him, Amadeus steps behind her and flips up the back of her skirts. He leaves her underwear in place and winds up his hand before bringing it down hard upon one of her covered ass cheeks.

S-SMACK!

Grayfia barely grunts, her body shifting forward maybe a quarter of an inch from the blow. He hadn’t held back at all either… such is the difference between them even now. Still, he’s not about to break his hand on her ass at least, so he keeps going. And to her credit, Grayfia doesn’t just take her punishment like a champ… she helps facilitate it.

SMACK!

”T-Two…”

SMACK!

”Three…”

SMACK!

”Four!”

SMACK!

”F-Five!”

And so on and so forth. She keeps a count for him and so when Amadeus finally gets to fifteen spankings and his hand has started to get sore, he stops and shakes out the stinging sensation in his palm. Staring at Grayfia for a long moment, he sighs and flips back down her skirt.

”In the future, do not make choices about such things on my behalf without talking to me first. It’s one thing if it has to do with my safety… I trust you to protect me from harm, like when you stood between me and Serafall Leviathan. However… anything else, it goes through me. Is that understood?”

”Yes sir…”

She sounds a little shaken… but Amadeus knows Grayfia too well. She’s not shaken… she’s aroused. Being punished by her Lord and Master with a spanking definitely played into her Maid Fetish, didn’t it? Well it was too late for him to take it back now.

Amadeus just huffs and shakes his head.

”Come… let’s go to bed.”

With that, they get ready for bed and are soon under the blankets, curled up with one another. However, when Grayfia’s hand starts to drift below his waist, Amadeus grabs her by the wrist and stops her, pulling it back up as he looks her in the eye.

”No… none of that tonight.”

Grayfia looks put out for a moment before understanding dawns as she realizes this is part of her punishment. He can’t bring himself to send her away completely… he loves having her pressed up against him while he sleeps too much for that. However, having sex with her after everything that happened today, including the spanking, would be more of a reward than a punishment.

Instead, they go to sleep in one another’s arms… and Amadeus’ dreams are full of Huntrix’s performances. The three girls had showed him so much amazing music that he can’t really think about anything else as he falls into a deep slumber with a smile on his lips.
