Global Lords: I Have Information System

Because having enough to eat and wear is the most basic survival requirement.

Zong Shen would naturally try his best to meet it.

He didn’t know what food supply was like in other Territories.

Anyway, his Territory had already reached a relatively standardized state.

Right now the total number of Subjects in the Territory was huge, and the daily food consumption was also massive.

While enjoying the population dividend, he also had to bear the heavy burden of logistics consumption.

As for Zong Shen’s oft-mentioned Free People reform plan.

It still wasn’t at the point where it could be implemented.

At the very least, he’d have to wait until the Challenge Month ended.

Besides the Territory’s cafeteria, what was left was the small stove in the Lord’s Fortress.

Which was also a manifestation of Privileges.

Because the food standard for the small stove was better than the Big Pot Rice.

As the Lord, enjoying a bit of Privilege wasn’t excessive.

If he had the Time, he would definitely have gone to Dinan Village himself and ”abducted” that Intermediate Chef back.

Speaking of which, it had already been close to half a month since Tiezhu went to Dinan Village.

Their situation was all reported directly to Marie.

Zong Shen hadn’t paid particular attention to it and didn’t know how things were progressing over there.

He actually didn’t take it too much to heart.

The main reason he sent the Scout Squad to Dinan Village was to find something for them to do.

Zong Shen decided he had to free up some Time to go to Dinan Village.

Because of the Elf Key, he now had a reason he must attack the Goblin Tribe.

Plus the accumulation over this period.

The increase in military strength, various powerful items acquired, together with those Goblin Bombs and Spell Scrolls exchanged during the Frosty Winter Challenge, were all actually preparations for attacking the Goblin Tribe.

Other issues were secondary.

Under normal circumstances, as long as Zong Shen wasn’t on campaign, he would eat at the Lord’s Fortress.

He just didn’t care who was cooking.

In his impression, Luna and Marie were the regulars in the kitchen.

He hadn’t expected Wenresa to be good at it too.

However, things between the two of them were a bit awkward, so Zong Shen didn’t say much.

He just let her mess around in the kitchen on her own.

They had an unspoken rule: no matter who cooked, they had to follow the headcount of everyone living in the Lord’s Fortress, including preparing food for Tasuya and Aisha who were long-term fixtures in the Magic Hall.

Whether they came back to eat was another matter; even if they didn’t, the food could be reheated the next day.

The food style in this world leaned toward Western cuisine from Earth.

There were very few dishes like Huaxia’s hot wok, hot oil stir-fries, or rich red-braised dishes.

Once he settled things in Dinan Village and got that Intermediate Chef talent.

Mister Zong would have that Chef lead the two Chef Apprentices the Territory had cultivated through reading and head to Boss Bang.

Using the storefront property he had in Boss Bang, they’d open a restaurant.

The top floor there already housed the Sub-array of the Hundred Kilometer-level Teleportation Array.

They could quickly travel back and forth between the two places.

Running a food business in Boss Bang would also count as giving the Chef Apprentices practice.

Once the Time was ripe and his Chef talents under his command reached a certain Quantity.

Zong Shen could consider teaching them the ideas behind Huaxia cuisine.

When it came to actual hands-on cooking, he was an amateur.

But he still knew the general ideas and steps.

He’d let the Chefs slowly practice when the Time came.

Besides that, Zong Shen could also hire Chef talents from other Lords.

He just had to pay them their wages.

He had plenty of Dinar in hand.

As long as the Native Forces hadn’t entered a period of full-blown Chaos, the spending power of Dinar would be guaranteed.

Watching Wenresa’s busy figure in the kitchen, Zong Shen unconsciously started thinking far ahead.

The future planning was actually a chain of one link after another.

Missing any link would make it incomplete.

Zong Shen sat on a chair in the living room and couldn’t help pondering the Territory’s Development.

There were actually still many issues that needed to be resolved later.

The biggest one was the Subject problem.

First of all, the Territory no longer relied on farmers going out to gather resources.

Before these farmers were converted into Free People, he absolutely couldn’t let them be too idle.

The most important meaning of Free People lay in autonomous farming.

So he had to prioritize teaching them farming Skills.

Now that the Challenge Period hadn’t ended, he could start with theoretical teaching.

In addition, whether it was the Azshara Mine or the Gem Ore Vein in the north.

In the end they would all need a large number of Miner laborers to carry out extraction.

Kobolds were good hands at mining, but their Quantity was ultimately limited.

Currently, the Dogman Race was still under three hundred Kobolds.

Including the young Kobolds that had hatched over this period.

If Zong Shen had the patience to properly look after them for a few years, the Dogman Tribe would gradually grow stronger.

Besides the Dogman Tribe, he could also appropriately cultivate some Human miners.

He had already made up his mind; tonight he would have Marie and Hoy go implement it.

Select two to three hundred farmers and send them to the Mine.

They would be received by Dogman Chief Dutra.

And starting tomorrow, these farmers would undergo mining training.

Just as Zong Shen thought of this.

The steel portcullis gate of the Lord’s Fortress was pushed open again.

Because it had spring assistance, ordinary people could also push it open.

In wartime, they just needed to fasten those few door bolts.

It was Marie who had returned; she clicked her tongue in amazement as she walked in.

She seemed very surprised by the changes after the Lord’s Fortress had risen to Level Six.

”Oh, my Lord, you’re here too!”
