Global Lords: I Have Information System

Anyone would have thought that the 108 students with an average score of 28.6 points could achieve 78 entering a key middle school and 26 entering the grade within three years. This achievement shocked society. The county immediately renamed Chengguan Second Middle School to Yiyuan County Experimental Middle School. From then on, Experimental Middle School was simply the best school in Yiyuan.

At that time, you could only fill out three volunteer options. Influenced by Li Zhenhua, sixty to seventy percent of the students chose normal universities, and eventually became well-known scientists resurrecting mammoths 10,000 years after extinction.

According to reports, this ”resurrection” plan does not aim to recreate the real mammoth but to manufacture embryos carrying mammoth DNA, creating a hybrid offspring of elephants and mammoths. Church explained in an interview: ”Our goal is to create a cold-resistant elephant that looks and behaves like a mammoth. We are not trying to deceive anyone; we want an animal functionally equivalent to a mammoth—capable of living and thriving in -40°C environments and doing everything elephants and mammoths do, especially knocking down trees.”

By comparing the genomes extracted separately from mammoths in permafrost and Asian elephants, researchers have identified specific genes responsible for mammoth hair, insulating fat layers, and other cold climate adaptations. Subsequently, they extracted skin cells from Asian elephants and began re-editing them into multifunctional stem cells carrying mammoth DNA.

Ultimately, these embryos will be birthed through surrogate mother elephants or artificial wombs. Colossal hopes to quickly cultivate a large herd of mammoths by developing artificial wombs. If all goes well, researchers hope to welcome the first batch of calves within six years.

Reportedly, this project aims to help protect Asian elephants by giving them some traits, enabling them to adapt in an area called ”Pleistocene Park.”

[It is said that Uncle Wang next door feels much better after subscribing to the original now; his back pain, leg pain have subsided, and his arms are stronger. Climbing five floors in a single go is effortless, and every other day, he meets an eighteen-year-old girlfriend.]

Foreign name: ウルトラマンレオ/Ultraman Leo

Unlike the Ultraman Brothers, he is not from the M78 Nebula Land of Light but from the Lion L77 Star.

When L77 Star was destroyed, he experienced separation and death with his younger brother Astra and his pet Long.

One month before the story begins, because his hometown was destroyed by Magma Star People, he came to a place exactly like his hometown on Earth. As an Earthling, he works and lives in Southern City Sports Center, effectively becoming a cosmic refugee. The series also depicts the sorrow of losing his hometown and family.

Like the Ultraman Brothers, his chest is equipped with a color timer, but after transformation, the active time is 2 minutes and 40 seconds. However, the color timer rarely flashes and falls into crisis. After episode 50, the flashing sound of the color timer is the same as the original Ultraman’s. Furthermore, if not enlarged, the energy consumption can be suppressed, so in episode 26, when compressed by Breaga into a small height, and in episode 50, when tied with a cosmic rope by Bunyo and transformed to human size (2.02 meters, excluding head horns), he maintains Leo’s appearance for a long time.

In episode 45, during the battle with Blizzardo, his body temperature increased.

Using body techniques far beyond cosmic boxing and other Ultraman Warriors’ high physical capabilities compensated for the short active time. Also, through special training under Ultraman Seven = Moroboshi Dan and many battles, he gradually became a powerful warrior. In episode 1, when Ultraman Seven = Dan first met him, he introduced himself as ”Ultraman Leo.” In episodes 38 and 39, he thwarted Barbar Star People’s strategy and, together with Astra, saved Earth and Ultraman Star, officially becoming a member of the Ultraman Brothers.

From the beginning of the series, beam skills have been used (first used in episode 8), though rarely as decisive skills. In the fourth season’s disc creature arc, beam skills became more frequently the decisive skill.

The secret sign on the abdomen (Chevrolet Sign) in L77 Star people’s text means ”Leo,” and is a certificate from L77 Star people. ”Originally, Leo was the prince of Lion L77 Star, and the emblem on the abdomen, Leo Signature, is proof of this” is part of the official setting, though not mentioned in the main story.

Design and Modeling

Leo’s design transitioned from Toho to Tsuburaya Productions, designed by Yoshio Suzuki, who was responsible for art after ’Ultraman Ace’ (Ace Ultraman). Unlike previous Ultraman warriors, head design was complicated to distinguish him, reminiscent of human hairstyles. Eyes and mouth follow seven types, though the nose was explicitly modeled.

NG version costume features silver lines similar to Ultraman Seven and Taro from torso to feet, but the adopted version became entirely red. Before final decisions, NG designs drawn were repurposed for Baltan Starman that appeared in ’Ultraman Taro.’

After episode 1, Kazunori Kawaguchi changed to Tatsumi Nijimoto, still adding costumes. However, due to mask placement issues, Nijimoto’s eyes did not align with the peeping hole, performing till the finale with only one eye visible.

Regarding the costume, Nijimoto confirmed there was no elasticity, with chest padding.
