Villain Extra: Rogue Reader

Chapter 1: Betrayal of 5,001 Chapters

In a messy room cluttered with trash and half-eaten food, a man in pajamas lay sprawled on the couch with bloodshot eyes glued to his phone.

”Finally... Lord of Magic is ending at Chapter 5,001.”

The man smiled in bliss. His name was Raymond, commonly referred to as Ray, who was a jobless graduate.

But fret not!

He was spared from the fate of flipping burgers because a rich heir had hit him with a car and paid five million in compensation, albeit at the cost of his left leg being amputated from the crash.

Although he no longer needed to worry about money, his mobility had tanked, resulting in him being a shut-in.

Nevertheless, he managed to rid himself of boredom because of this novel.

”Your father spent so much money on these Chapters. I need to know if the protagonist picks the harem or the witch.” Ray clicked his tongue and paid ten dollars. This blackhearted novel site was so secure, preventing even the greatest hackers from hacking and pirating the novel.

As Ray excitedly read the pages, his body tensed up as the protagonist William finished killing another overpowered main antagonist.

Shortly after saving the world like a typical cliche scene, William was faced with five gorgeous women. Each one of them had their own respective fanbase, with many cheering for them.

”Mature one, sexy one, hot one, cute one, innocent one—yep, the five heroines are here!” Ray trembled with excitement. ”The author already forgot twenty women, but these five? They’re untouchable. Come on, William, bag them all! If it were me, I’d even go back and collect the side characters!”

And it was at that moment that his eyes turned dead.

Time seemed to have frozen in place.

And like a meteor had fallen from the sky, Ray ignored the pain of his prosthetic left leg and stood up.

”CURSE YOU, AMENSIAC AUTHOR!!!”

He shouted at the top of his lungs when William not only rejected the 5 main heroines, but he even went to his best friend, Edgar.

To think that the energy, effort, and time he spent for so long was actually wasted on this kind of ending.

Some might think he was overexaggerating, but the next scene he read was that the two hopped into a bed scene. The freaking details were so vivid, a far cry from the lackluster so-called final battle!

”I got baited?” Ray was losing his mind as he laughed hysterically.

For a whopping 5,000-plus Chapters... he was actually reading a BL Novel disguised as a supposed harem novel.

”Chasing Star... you piece of shit garbage author! I chase your fucking mom!” In a fit of rage, Ray did the unthinkable.

Rather than commenting FIRST in the Chapters like he always did for the past 5 years without pause, he directly went to their personal social media and messaged them privately.

Raymond: Dear author, this is your loyal fan, Ray Ray. Now that the novel has come to an end. Let me send you this heartfelt gratitude. FUCK YOU! MAY YOU DIE AND SUFFER AN INSUFFERABLE AMOUNT OF TRAGEDY!

Even after sending his heartfelt gratitude, Ray didn’t feel it was enough.

To be trolled and pranked for 5 years, how could he be satisfied with just this?

BL Novel... if it was BL from the start, then this author should have tagged it right away. Instead, they baited him with many great heroines!

No wonder there was no hand-holding, kiss scene, or even close contact.

The author was a perverted bastard from the start!

”I should have known!” Ray truly regretted his decision to continue the novel when many readers gave up. ”Oh god, that scene is coming back to my mind again.”

Just when Ray was feeling like vomiting after recalling the rated 18 scene of William and Edgar battling together in bed, his phone suddenly rang.

It was from an unknown caller—one that he would have ended without batting an eyelid.

But today, he was so mad, he decided to answer the call and curse at them.

”You dare call me? You are courting death!” He picked it up and outright cursed.

”How could you betray me like this?” Suddenly, a feminine voice resounded from the other side.

’A female?’ Startled, Ray quickly thought it was an AI voice changer.

”Betray you? What nonsense fart are you talking about?”

”Aren’t you my loyal fan? You’ve been following and liking everything I did in the past 5 years. How could you suddenly curse at me and blast my social media?” They sounded extremely aggrieved and in pain.

”Loyal fan? Following you for 5 years?” Confused, Ray glanced at the caller and found it had no ID.

He became hesitant and asked, ”You’re Chasing Star?”

”Who else can I be?”

”Chasing Star is a woman?”

”What else if not a woman?”

”Fuck! Now it makes sense why you wrote such a trash ending. You are a woman all along. Argh, my poor heroines suffered because of you!”

Chasing Star’s mood sank when her loyal fan actually backstabbed her in such a cruel manner. ”I-I thought you understood me. Every time you are the first to read my latest Chapter.”

”Understand you?” Ray suppressed his anger. If he really understood her, then he would have long dropped the novel like many others who got sick of the repetitive plotline.

Lord of Magic?

Hell, it was more like Lord of Face Slapping!

He only got satisfaction from the fan services and the heroines’ plotline.

Moreover, he committed to the novel for so long. Dropping it would just be a gut-wrenching punch to the stomach.

”I hate you, Chasing Star. You’ve baited me into reading 5,000 Chapters of a BL Novel. I will never be your fan.” He then ended the call.

Speaking with this infuriating woman made his blood boil.

Who cares if she was a woman or not?

This kind of humiliating event must not be known by anyone.

He, who got swindled into reading such a BL novel for so many years, must be kept a secret.

As Ray proceeded to request his account to be terminated from the side and remove his Number One Fan icon, a magical portal suddenly spawned in his messy room.

The wind pressure of the portal sent him flying toward the couch.

”What the?” Ray was alarmed by the event.

He wondered if his mind had finally gone insane and required hospitalization at a mental facility.

Just when he held such a thought, a woman suddenly emerged from the portal. She was dressed in a goddess-like outfit, her appearance ethereal and charming.

Raymond’s jaw dropped at the sight. He rubbed his eyes repeatedly to see if he was hallucinating.

”Ray Ray... my number one fan. It aches me seeing my loyal supporters curse and hate me.” The woman softly spoke, her expression filled with agony.

”Since you hate the ending I write so much, then why not do it yourself? Consider it my apology.”

Before Ray could even comprehend this crazy situation, he found himself being pulled to the portal.

”Wait, what are you doing? Who are you and what is going on?” Ray clutched tightly to the couch, trying his best to resist the pulling force.

Alas, his strength soon faltered, granted that he never exercised much to begin with.

In the blink of an eye, Ray was thrown into the portal, disappearing from his world.

As for the goddess, she gazed at the portal with melancholy.

”You villainous fan. I’ll make you a villain extra in that world as punishment for making me cry.”

She was none other than Chasing Star, who initially intended to confess her feelings to her number one fan.
