Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world

Rheanne was sleeping in her own private chamber within the villa.

After spending the evening with the family, watching little Selene fall asleep in Brandon’s arms, she retired early, feeling unusually tired.

Her breathing was steady at first.

But then, something felt strange.

Rheanne’s eyelids fluttered and a strange, pulling sensation tugged at her consciousness.

She tried to open her eyes, but the world around her felt distant.

When she finally managed to open her eyes...

...she was no longer in her bed.

She was floating in an endless, suffocating darkness.

A vast, empty darkness stretched in every direction.

Rheanne’s white robes drifted weightlessly around her as she slowly turned in place.

Her heartbeat quickened.

’T-This is the same place... when I got that first vision.’

And then... it appeared.

From the infinite darkness above her, a gigantic blue eye slowly materialized.

Rheanne’s breath caught in her throat, and a crushing pressure bore down on her entire being, making her feel impossibly insignificant.

The eye stared directly at her.

”Rheanne Himelle.”

The sound vibrated through her soul, shaking her to her core.

”You have been chosen.”

Rheanne floated helplessly as she stared up at the enormous eye.

”The faith of the people has reached its threshold. The prayers, the devotion, the belief... they have woven a crown for you. In four days, you will ascend to godhood.”

Rheanne’s eyes widened in shock.

”You will shed your mortal form. You will leave this world behind and take your place among the divine. You will become eternal, a true Goddess, unbound by flesh and time.”

Four days.

Only four days left in the mortal world.

Rheanne’s heart clenched painfully.

Images of Brandon flashed in her mind as she recollected the peaceful life they had built together in the Holy Land.

She tried to speak, but her voice came out strained in the vast emptiness.

”...No,” she whispered. ”I... I don’t want to leave them.”

The gigantic eye did not blink. Its gaze remained cold and indifferent to mortal feelings.

”It is not a choice. Ascension is inevitable once the threshold is crossed. Your mortal shell will dissolve. Your consciousness will expand beyond this plane. You will watch over this world... but you will no longer walk upon it.”

Tears welled up in Rheanne’s eyes upon hearing this.

’I-I will leave this world? No! No! NO!’

For the first time in many years, the elegant and composed Goddess looked truly afraid.

”Four days.”

”Prepare yourself, Rheanne Himelle. When the fourth day ends... you will rise.”

The gigantic blue eye began to fade, slowly dissolving back into the darkness.

She reached out desperately, as if trying to stop it.

”Wait-!”

But the void swallowed her plea.

---

Rheanne jolted awake with a sharp gasp and looked around in panic.

”Haa... Haa...” She sat up in her bed, breathing heavily and her body was covered in cold sweat.

Her hands trembled uncontrollably as she clutched the silk sheets.

Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision.

”No... not yet...” she whispered. ”I’m not ready... I don’t want to leave...”

Memories flooded her mind as she remembered Brandon’s warm smile.

Their journeys together around the world, their fights and the nights they shared together.

The feeling of belonging she had finally found after years of solitude.

All of it would be torn away in just four days.

A sob escaped her throat.

”K-Kael...!”

She needed him. Right now.

Rheanne hurriedly threw the blankets off and swung her legs over the side of the bed.

In her panic, her feet got tangled in the long sheets and she lost her balance completely.

THUD!

She fell hard onto the cold marble floor, banging her knee painfully.

Without wasting another second, she pushed herself up and rushed toward the balcony doors.

She flung them open, letting the cold night air rush in.

In the next instant, she shot upward into the sky like a streak of white light.

Tears streamed down her face as she soared over the glowing capital of Sanctum, heading straight toward the main family villa where Brandon was sleeping.

Only four days left to be with him and live as his Rheanne.

She doesn’t even want to waste a single moment.

Rheanne flew faster, pushing her power to its limit.

Meanwhile, at the Main Villa...

On the luxurious bed, Amelia, Freya, and little Selene were sleeping peacefully.

Amelia was curled up on the left side with her arm gently draped over Selene’s small body.

Selene was nestled safely between them with a small stuffed toy clutched in her arms.

In the adjoining living area, Brandon was asleep on the wide couch.

An empty bottle of wine and a half-filled glass were on the low table in front of him.

He had clearly drunk a fair amount before falling asleep while his shirt was unbuttoned at the top, and his head was tilted back against the cushions.

The balcony doors burst open with a loud bang.

Rheanne stumbled inside, breathing heavily.

Her nightgown was slightly disheveled from her fall, and her bare feet were dirty from the garden path she had crossed in her panic.

She looked around at the room frantically until her gaze fell on Brandon sleeping on the couch.

”Kael...!”

Hm? Brandon blinked in confusion at first, still half-asleep, but the moment he saw Rheanne’s tear-streaked face, his eyes shrank in horror.

”Rheanne?” He sat up quickly, fully awake now. ”What happened?!”

Before he could even stand, Rheanne rushed toward him.

She practically threw herself into his arms, colliding against his chest with desperate force.

Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck as she buried her face into his shoulder, clinging to him.

”KAEL! KAEL! KAEL! KAEL!” she sobbed repeatedly while her voice was muffled against his shirt.

Her entire body was shaking uncontrollably as fresh tears soaked his shirt ”Kael... Kael... please... don’t let me go...”

Brandon herat clenched in pain and he immediately wrapped his arms around her, holding her as tightly as he could.

”Rheanne... I’m right here,” he whispered, trying to calm her.

”Talk to me. What’s wrong? Did something happen? Did you have another vision?”

Her body trembled in his arms as broken sobs continued to spill from her lips.

Brandon held her closer, pressing his cheek against the top of her head and his own heart was racing with worry.

In the background, the soft sounds of movement came from the bedroom as Freya and Amelia began to wake up because of the commotion.
