Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world

”Aun..t... El.. ze” Brandon shifted in his sleep, murmuring something incoherent against Naevora’s skin.

His face pressed even deeper into her breasts, nuzzling instinctively as if they were the only pillow in the world he could accept.

The thin straps of Naevora’s black tank top slid slightly down her shoulder from the movement and the fabric lowered to reveal even more of her deep cleavage.

Naevora opened her eyes slowly and looked down at his cheek brushing against the soft swell of her chest as he nestled closer.

Her hand twitched at her side, torn between pushing him away and letting him be.

Then his grip on her ass tightened and his fingers curled against her cheek through the thin shorts she wore, kneading lightly.

A sharp hiss escaped her lips ”Brandon...” she whispered lowly in a dangerous voice.

His brows smoothed, and his breathing evened as he snuggled closer, pressing her against him like he couldn’t stand the thought of her slipping away.

Heat pooled in Naevora’s chest and the corners of her lips twitched despite herself.

She tilted her head back against the pillow, exhaling a shaky breath.

Her fingers slid once again into his dark hair, stroking slowly as if to soothe ”...Tch. If you keep this up, I really will break you,”

The quilt shifted slightly as Brandon’s body curled tighter against hers, and Naevora felt the press of his warmth sinking into her.

His head rose and fell softly against her cleavage with every breath and her tank top slipped just a little lower with the motion.

Naevora closed her eyes again and her jaw tightened as she whispered almost imperceptibly, ”...Damn brat.”

---

Brandon woke up slowly and his hand instinctively reached out to where warmth should have been.

Instead, he found the sheets cold and empty.

A small frown tugged at his lips and his eyelashes fluttered open, the dim morning light filtering faintly into the room.

He blinked once, twice, before his vision cleared and settled on the figure sitting at the edge of the bed.

Naevora.

Her back was to him and the dark strands of her hair were tousled, cascading down her back in a tangled mess that somehow made her look even more alluring.

One strap of her black tank top had slipped completely off her shoulder, exposing the smooth pale line of her skin down to the curve where her waist began.

Brandon’s eyes trailed lower and the faint glow of her genesis mark, half-hidden beneath the waistband of her shorts, drew his attention.

His breath caught, and a sudden warmth flooded his face ’She’s... insanely stunning.’

He shifted under the covers, torn between looking away out of respect and letting his gaze drink in the sight of her.

The conflicted beat of his heart only made him bolder.

Before he could think better of it, he pushed himself up and moved forward, the mattress dipping under his weight.

Gently, hesitantly at first, he wrapped his arms around her from behind.

His chest pressed against her back and his head lowered instinctively until his cheek brushed her hair.

”Morning...” he murmured and his voice was still thick with sleep.

Naevora stiffened for just a second as her body was caught off guard by the sudden intimacy.

She tilted her head slightly and looked at him over her shoulder.

He expected a sharp retort, maybe a push, but instead she just gave him a slow nod.

Her voice was low, rougher than usual, and colored by the same drowsy morning air.

”Morning.”

Brandon’s lips curved faintly, relief seeping into him.

He didn’t let go; in fact, his arms tightened just slightly around her waist.

Up close, he noticed the little details, the faint warmth radiating from her body, the subtle scent of her hair... something like steel and faint smoke, but underneath, softer, something that was just ’her’.

The slipped tank top teased his vision, every curve of her shoulder and the smooth arch of her back pulling him.

Naevora didn’t move away and her gaze drifted forward again, to some unseen point across the room ”You cling even in the morning, brat.”

Brandon let out a quiet chuckle against her shoulder. ”Maybe.”

His voice lowered a little, ”Feels nice though.”

Her fingers twitched on her thigh and she glanced at him once more, this time softer, though her words came out with their usual sharpness.

”You’re lucky I’m not in the mood to throw you off.”

But she didn’t push his arms away. She didn’t shift or ask for space.

If anything, she leaned just the faintest bit into his hold, her hair brushing against his cheek.

Brandon noticed, and his chest tightened in a way that had nothing to do with desire and everything to do with the quiet intimacy of the moment.

His lips curled into a smile and he hugged her tighter.

For a moment, the only sound in the room was the faint rustle of the sheets and the steady rhythm of their breaths.

Her back was warm against his bare chest, and Brandon felt the subtle rise and fall of her body as she sighed quietly.

Her messy hair spilled down her shoulders, some strands brushing against his face as he leaned closer, his chin grazing her shoulder ”You smell good...”

”Hmph...” Naevora’s lips curved faintly though she tried to hide it, her eyes gazing at the floor ”You really do wake up saying the most shameless things, don’t you?”

Brandon chuckled softly, ”Maybe... but it’s the truth.”

Silence lingered between them, but strangely comforting.

Brandon just hugged her tighter, nuzzling into her shoulder like he didn’t want to let go.

Naevora finally placed her hand over his as her fingers traced along his knuckles in a rare gesture of affection.

She wasn’t used to being held this way.

For so many years, her mornings were cold, solitary things, waking up in empty rooms and always thinking about training.

Now she could feel the heat of another body clinging to her and the weight of someone who wasn’t afraid to lean on her, and it was... disarming.
