Bombarding Cultivators with Cluster Artillery

A vast Immortal Path world cluster appeared in the sight of the Xianmen Sect.

Within it, there might lie death, or there might lie creation and transcendence.

But one point is certain.

The Xianmen Sect must face these existences; there is no longer any possibility of retreat, nor can it return to the tranquility of the past hundreds of thousands of years in the Nine Spirits Realm.

All notions of isolationism vanished in an instant.

”This is... quite excellent.”

”Braving the turbulent currents—succeed or perish—such fairness, such stirring bravery.”

Jiang Ding folded the documents and said faintly.

To a certain extent, this pushed his ”Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy” to gain more supporters among the citizens. The perilous situation in the domain instilled a sense of crisis among the citizens, compelling them to grasp anything that could strengthen themselves, thereby, to some degree, ignoring risks.

Because stagnation means death, and the enemy will not wait.

It is imperative to elevate the strength and Immortal Path foundation of the Xianmen Sect as quickly and steadily as possible.

And the ”Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy” that attracts elites from the Ten Thousand Clans is just such a seductive yet somewhat perilous strategy.

Under the treacherous external circumstances, the conservative forces within the Xianmen Sect diminished.

Jiang Ding remained calm as he stood up.

Today was the day he formally submitted the ”Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy” proposal to the Citizens’ Assembly of the Xianmen Sect. Today, his primary form would face accountability proceedings from numerous representatives during the assembly.

...

In the grand hall.

Numerous citizen representatives gathered under one roof, the atmosphere solemn and awe-inspiring.

Among them were mortals, representing mortal interests, recognized by fellow mortals from various constituencies, voicing their concerns under the protection of the Central Array Spirit Computer, ensuring immunity from any coercion or illusion techniques.

There were Qi Practitioners, as well as Foundation Establishment, Golden Pill, and Nascent Soul Cultivators—but the majority were Nascent Soul Cultivators who had earned widespread acknowledgment from the citizenry.

Only the computational power of a Nascent Soul Cultivator’s Divine Soul could manage the numerous administrative affairs of Domain Overlords and Harmonization-level forces. The Central Array Spirit Computer served only as an assistant—it could not assist a low-tier cultivator in becoming a key power player among Harmonization forces.

This was the inevitability of the Immortal Path World.

The Xianmen Sect lacked the capacity and had no intention of violating these objective physical laws.

Within the Xianmen Sect, extreme egalitarian factions had always existed, seeking to revive ancient systems of absolute equality, but they had never become mainstream. High-level cultivators were not entities that could be exploited or suppressed by low-tier cultivators and mortals, not even within the Xianmen Sect.

No one would indulge mortals or low-tier cultivators from extreme egalitarian factions, even if they raised banners of seemingly righteous morality.

If they overstepped boundaries and violated laws, the punishments were clear—capital punishment where applicable, or imprisonment where necessary.

Under the focused attention of all, a green-clothed youth carried a document and stepped up to the grand hall podium.

”Fellow representatives, greetings.”

”Today, as the citizen representative of Qian Province, I propose a bill that concerns the survival and existential crisis of the Xianmen Sect, titled ’The Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy.’”

The clear voice echoed in the ears of surrounding cultivators and mortals, as well as those interested citizens watching the live broadcast provided by Banyan Tree Television.

’The Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy...’

Many citizens murmured the name, deeply familiar with it—all among the tens of billions of ordinary citizens of the Xianmen Sect.

This renowned strategy, continuously debated and improved since it was first proposed thousands of years ago when the Great Sun Celestial Lord was still the Grand Sun Immortal, is known even to middle school students who can recite it by heart. Its popularity has never diminished and has been discussed with great intensity within the Xianmen Sect for centuries.

”Why is the Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy critical to the survival and existential crisis of the Xianmen Sect?”

Jiang Ding turned to the many representatives and said, ”Because the Xianmen Sect lacks Immortal-level legacies. Unlike the Eight Great Immortal Sects, which originate from mighty sects in the Upper Realm and have everything traceable.”

”The Xianmen Sect can only rely on itself.”

”The Xianmen Sect can only continuously absorb external Immortal Dao science and technology, embrace diverse ideas, and thus have hope of keeping pace with others. This is the greatest advantage compared to the Eight Great Immortal Sects.”

”Outstanding elites with excellent moral qualities from the outside world, their arrival and integration into the Xianmen Sect, will bring us wisdom and inspiration, as well as more legacy...”

”...”

”Case Study: Emperor Hua Teng of the Skull Blood Vine Demon Clan.”

”Her existence directly propelled the Xianmen Sect’s significant breakthroughs in Bone Path, Soul Path, and the triad of material soul immortality. The Xianmen Sect’s laboratories have already produced the ’Immortal Fleet’ and the ’Immortal Liquid Nanobot Legion,’ whose origins lie in the countless Undead Skeleton inheritances of the Skull Blood Vine Demon Clan.”

”Fellow Daoist Hua Teng played an irreplaceable role in these Immortal Dao technology breakthroughs.”

”It can be said that without Fellow Daoist Hua Teng, the Xianmen Sect might have needed at least fifty thousand years to achieve these breakthroughs. These are the wisdom crystallizations of Harmonization-level races, accrued over hundreds of thousands or even millions of years.”

”We have acquired such a massive wealth of Immortal Dao technology.”

”And the cost? A single citizenship slot, an individual with a morality score of about 130—this, by all accounts, is a highly profitable exchange, isn’t it?”

”No, it isn’t just a profitable exchange.”

”It is an exchange of unimaginable wealth!!!”

”One Emperor Hua Teng from the Skull Blood Vine Demon Clan created this outcome. If more such fellow Daoists were among us, how could the Xianmen Sect possibly worry about attaining the Grand Dao?”

”Fellow citizens, esteemed representatives, this is the correct path forward. The Xianmen Sect will undoubtedly advance toward greater prosperity and an even more glorious future because of this...”

Jiang Ding refrained from emotional embellishments.

His speech style relied primarily on laying out data, citing examples, and clearly showcasing to citizens the concrete achievements of the trial ”Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy.”

The breakthroughs in Immortal Dao scientific technology brought by Hua Teng;

The near quintuple surge in productivity and resources output across multiple Minor Thousand Worlds, benefiting the cultivation and growth of all citizens;

Significant improvements in the political stability of various Minor Thousand Worlds;

The colossal increase in combat power brought by the growth of elites from Minor Thousand Worlds...

Such results arose during societal experiments lasting thousands of years, and the tremendous benefits have already manifested—not merely as theoretical notions on paper.

Even the most extreme opposition must admit this fact, for otherwise, they would lose the principle of seeking truth from facts.

Jiang Ding’s speech lasted several hours before he sat down.

”Next, citizen representatives may proceed with inquiries.”

The faraway clone presiding over the meeting declared.

This was standard procedure; before voting on a proposal, citizen representatives held the right to raise inquiries, and the proponent of the proposal was required to respond, unable to remain silent.

”Great Sun Celestial Lord, may I ask how you plan to safeguard the interests of mortal citizens?”

”These foreign clans, such as the Skull Blood Vine Demons—their reproductive capacity seems quite astonishing?”

One mortal representative, only seventy to eighty years old, posed the question.

Under the protection of the Central Array Spirit Computer, he could gaze directly at the Great Sun Celestial Lord’s radiance, remaining unshaken.

”These foreign clans are not foreign clans.”

”Should the proposal pass, such terminology would be unlawful—they should instead be referred to as the Human Race.” Jiang Ding responded with prepared remarks: ”Since they are the Human Race, they naturally adhere to the characteristics of humanity, bearing humanoid appearances and observing human reproductive limitations.”

”Clause ninety-seven of the ’Great Sun Divinity Transformation Strategy’ stipulates that the Central Array Spirit Computer will deploy the ’Ascending to Humanity System.’ Foreign clan cultivators must impose specific constraints on themselves, fully complying with the characteristics of being ’human,’ in order to proceed with the ascension program and become citizens.”

”In operational terms, Skull Blood Vine Demons must cultivate transformation techniques, solidifying human-like traits such as outward appearance and reproductive features. Those foreign clan cultivators who fail to master transformation techniques will not qualify as citizens.”

”Regardless of the underlying principles, the ascension of foreign clans as citizens will not undermine the rights or interests of mortal citizens.”
