Bombarding Cultivators with Cluster Artillery

Adult Swordsmanship Program.

The host also had an interpretation here.

This primarily recruited cultivators from society who had grasped or were hopeful of grasping the sword intent, to provide them with higher levels of training through stronger teaching forces and resources.

Rather than letting them grow freely in society, it aimed to accelerate the formation of a force from lower to higher levels.

Different from the sixteen-year-old students of the various Cultivation Departments of Xianmen, the cultivators of the Swordsmanship Program were mostly adults who had experienced much tempering, hence it was called the Adult Swordsmanship Program.

Actually, this policy interfering with the Xianmen University Cultivation Department was extremely controversial and had been discussed countless times, with many opposed to it.

There were mainly two points.

The first was hatred; the Great Sun Sword Pavilion had been too slaughterous in the past, and the current Immortals of Nascent Soul in power, as well as the more senior Nascent Soul Cultivators, had lived through that era. Their opinions could not be ignored.

The second was the difference in paths.

Just like in the Northern Plains, the Great Sun Sword Sect and the Great Sun Dharma Sect originated from the same source.

They were originally cultivators of the Great Sun Sect. Many Immortals of Nascent Soul from both sects had hundreds, even thousands of years of life-and-death camaraderie, having blocked blades for each other on the battlefield numerous times, treating both magic cultivation and sword cultivation equally.

In the end, why did they suddenly become enemies on the battlefield?

It was the difference in paths.

Sword Dao cultivators, for now, it was still alright.

Once a large number of Sword Intent Cultivators within Xianmen grew, they would inevitably seek their group’s political interests, and conflicts might become unavoidable at that time.

Sword Cultivators seemed not to know how to yield.

They were unlike the other cultivators of Xianmen.

You have a bit of me, and I have a bit of you.

Everyone mingles together; it’s hard to separate us and them. Surely, just because you like talismans, you’re labeled a Talisman Cultivator, or if you like lightning magic, you’re called a Lightning Cultivator?

There were no such things.

The original structure of Xianmen was very good. No one thought they should form a group based on their chosen path.

Sword Cultivators were different.

They had Sword Intent.

It was a kind of specialized qualitative change on the level of the Divine Soul, inclining towards slaughter, sharpness, and warfare, with Divine Sense possessing special expertise on the sword. The changes that occurred on the Divine Soul were drastically different from those of the ordinary Xianmen cultivators.

Similarly, there was a natural instinct to gather together.

Many old seniors were worried that this future group of Sword Cultivators would form a political entity, becoming a hidden threat of division within Xianmen.

It was not unwarranted fear.

Looking across the Eight Great Immortal Sects,

Xuanwu Heavenly Palace, Five Elements Heavenly Sect, Green Wood Immortal Sect, Wanshou Immortal Sect, and so on, within all of them, the Sword Veins were extremely independent, starkly distinct from the magic cultivators within the sect, unable to integrate.

The situation in Xianmen was not the same as in the Immortal Sects.

The Masters of Refining Nothingness in the Immortal Sects were magic cultivators, who could openly suppress the Sword Cultivators, drawing a line that must not be crossed, with death for those who dared to overstep.

Could Xianmen do the same?

They hadn’t broken any laws, just a group of sword-wielding people gathering together. On what grounds could you suppress them?

This potential for division was seen by the long-lived Spirit Transformation Heavenly Monarchs as an almost certain occurrence, a part of human nature.

The internal resistance within Xianmen was so strong

that no one had ever brought up a proposal to support the Sword Cultivators in public before.

Now, the Sun Extinguisher Heavenly Monarch had done so.

Basing it on the God Transformation Strategy, he convinced some old friends, eventually leading to changes in the fundamental systems of Xianmen University, albeit only for a short hundred years.

This final proposal alone was expected to consume half of Xianmen’s support for his God Transformation Strategy.

Because it was like wielding a knife at the educational foundations of Xianmen.

The cost was already minimized.

Over the past decade, many of the old hawkish seniors from Xianmen helped tremendously; they spared no effort in arguing, fighting, knocking down scores, day and night, until the proposal was forcibly passed.

All of it for the sake of the current potential for war.

Future issues, future risks, would be addressed later.

”Senior Sun Extinguisher, this gift...”

Jiang Ding was speechless for a long time.

Such a grand gift truly left one at a loss for words, as words of thanks seemed far too trivial.

It was half the ascension benefits of a Heavenly Monarch.

Normally, Xianmen Heavenly Monarchs rely on the initial ascension benefits provided by Xianmen to develop their own industries, to sustain a substantial portion of their cultivation for the following thousands of years, ensuring a steady income and avoiding poverty.

Like a growing infant, the initial development of a Divinity Transformation level industry affected whether a Nascent Soul Cultivator would have a comfortable cultivation path in the future.

Now, half of the initial ascension benefits had been given away.

It couldn’t simply be described as generous,

but rather, as madness!

”Senior Sun Extinguisher is truly lavish!”

Zhang Junsheng exclaimed in amazement, ”Aside from the Great Sun Relic Major, it seems you’ll also take on the role of teaching the adult Sword Dao major at Qingfeng University. Can you manage all that?”

It was inevitable.

As Sword Dao was just beginning to flourish, Xianmen lacked qualified Sword Dao professors, so he had no choice but to step in.

”It should be fine, the Sword Dojo avatar will take on this responsibility.”

Jiang Ding nodded, worrying, ”The problem is, teacher, I don’t know how to establish a Sword Dao Department, how to teach, how to cultivate reserve talent... I’m clueless about all of these.”

He had some experience in Tushan Immortal City, but it was all laissez-faire, where whether one succeeded or not depended entirely on oneself, and any misstep was a matter of personal choice.

It was different for Xianmen citizens.

Additionally, the Sword Dojo avatar had not much to do recently.

For basic swordsmanship guidance, the various teachers he had trained over the years were more than capable. Aside from overseeing the industries here and there, he rarely went out anymore.

Now coming to establish a higher-order Sword Cultivator training system was making use of his best capabilities, despite knowing nothing about it.

”Don’t worry about it.”

”It’s a small matter.”

Zhang Junsheng laughed heartily, ”When it comes to education, Xianmen is professional, and everything will be prepared. You just have to go in, work, and teach, and other people will handle the rest, like the curriculum, teaching materials, and all that.”

”You have to trust seniors like Sun Extinguisher Heavenly Monarch. Having lived for so long, what problem, what detail wouldn’t they have considered?”

”If they went ahead with it, they are confident they can handle it well.”

”That’s... good.”

Jiang Ding felt somewhat relieved.

”Alright, enough chatting, the award ceremony is over, and I’m off to a gathering with old friends.”

Zhang Junsheng ended the call.

Silver Sky Island returned to its tranquil state.

There was silence for a long time.

Jiang Ding quietly stared at the still flickering phone screen, dialed Sun Extinguisher Heavenly Monarch’s number, hesitated for a long time, but ultimately put it down.

”I feel words of thanks are too light, far too light.”

”Having received such a grand gift, I can offer nothing in return right now. Speaking with others now makes me embarrassed, uneasy.”

Jiang Ding closed his eyes. The Sun God Wood shone brightly, glowing radiantly, swallowing vast amounts of Heavenly Earth Spiritual Qi and Great Sun Essence, entering a state of cultivation.

”I’m fifty-two years away from the late Golden Pill stage... no, that’s wrong, two years in prison, so it’s fifty-four years.”

”Fifty-four years, late Golden Pill stage, there should be no problems.”

”That’s good enough.”

”The Taoist disciples of the Eight Great Immortal Sects, what are they but worthless trash, daring to make me wait until the Golden Pill Peak?”

”After the late Golden Pill stage, everything within my eyesight, within the Domain, will be my territory.”

”Those who resist, those who disobey, shall die.”

”The strength of Xianmen’s Domain armies determines how many Small Worlds can be captured, with no upper limit, with no constraints.”

”These are my words.”
