The Martial Unity

An air of anticipation hung in the workshop as every single elder sage craftsman of dwarven civilization had gathered to watch what was about to unfold. They stood at a respectful distance from the workshop, making sure to keep completely quiet so as to not disturb the Transcendent when he was about to embark on creating the greatest machine in human civilization.

[Do you think he’ll succeed?] Steth transmitted a mental message to the neural inlays of her fellow craftsmen. [With creating a machine that can fight the Emperor of Water?]

Elder Sage Forsynth’s eyes narrowed. [I don’t know about the Emperor of Water… but I do believe that he should be capable of creating artifacts that can take on other Administrators.]

Even though they had gained a Transcendent themselves. The shadow of the Emperor of Water still loomed in the hearts of every single person in human civilization. The man’s power was simply too dominant. He was too overwhelming, and his long, long streak of extraordinary feats and shocking victories had left a profound impression that he was literally invincible.

His recent feat of defeating three Divine Mothers, a confidential feat that only the upper echelons of human civilization were aware of, only reinforced this idea. As much as the other dwarves had come to respect Dwight’s power, they weren’t certain he had reached the echelon of power as the Emperor of Water.

[Regardless of what he creates, it should be unlike anything we have ever seen in our entire lives.] Elder Sage Dwarka heaved a sigh, shaking her head. [My only regret is not being able to partake in this project.]

They were deemed to be incapable of participating in the project by Dwight himself. Whether it was combat or creation, Transcendents were simply on a whole other level than non-Transcendents.

[Look, he’s made all the preparations.] Elder Sage Forsynth drew their attention back to the present. [He’s about to begin.]

In the workshop, God’s Hammer was brought and put in place in the workstation. The magnificent mech was plated with gold, silver, and numerous other esoteric substances, giving it a vibrant appearance.

Numerous other materials were also brought and kept in the workstation. Most of them were Transcendent-grade esoteric substances that the Transcendent had painstakingly created. They were much harder to create with his Verse than ordinary substances. So much so that creating all the materials he needed for this project had taken him more than a year. It was one of the reasons that the project had taken this long.

With the mech and the substances prepared, the only thing left to be prepared was himself. Dwight closed his eyes, exhaling deeply as he honed his mind.

Immediately, the air in the workshop shifted. It hummed with anticipation as the weight of what was about to unfold hung above their heads. The other dwarves stood with bated breaths as they stared at Dwight, not even daring to blink. None of them wanted to miss even a single moment of what was about to unfold.

When the Transcendent opened his eyes, his realms of power blazed to life. The Nervous Realm encompassed his entire body. The vast web of neurons formulating his nervous system served as an interface between his mind and his body.

The Thought Realm was the sum of all of his knowledge relevant to the art of creation. The Identity Realm was the source of harmony at the level of the design. It maximized his neurocognitive potential with a design by levying neuro-psychological affinity.

And then, of course, came the Creationverse.

VMMM…

The entire workstation began humming as disharmonious heat was turned into harmonious sound. It was as if angels had descended upon the workstation, singing to celebrate the birth of a god.

The dwarves felt an overwhelming surge of Harmony in their environment and in the very fabric of reality itself.

And then, he began.

Dwight made an opening gesture with his hands, expanding his fists into a wide-open palm.

God’s Hammer floated in response, before unfurling in its entirety. Every single component came unfastened from every other, as if screws, nuts, and bolts all came loose. Of course, dwarves had long moved past such primitive tools to fasten different components to each other. In truth, he was undoing the atomic bonding that held it all together.

Gods Hammer came apart. Yet, its internal structure was so profoundly dense and intricate with countless minute components that it actually looked like it was disintegrating into dust to the uninitiated eye.

Of course, all of the dwarves who witnessed the unfastening were very familiar with the current iteration of God’s Hammer. It was the esoteric generation’s iteration, when dwarves had managed to get their hands on all manner of esoteric matter from the Panama Continent, a Gargantian, infected worlds, Gaia offspring, etc.

The countless internal components of the mech were completely separated from each other, floating midair above the ground of the workstation. With a single wave of his hand, Dwight threw away all non-esoteric matter.

He intended to build an entirely esoteric mech with only the highest quality of materials.

[Bold.] Steth grew excited for the end product.

Dwight sharpened his eyes as he drew the Transcendent-grade material from within the containers that had been brought to the workstation. At the same time, he applied his Creationverse to the remaining components, drastically reshaping them.

His eyes blazed with passion and determination; his mind and body were entirely focused and concentrated on the task, never once allowing himself to be so much as even slightly distracted.

The entire universe had ceased to exist, as far as his awareness was concerned.

The only thing that existed was himself and the mech he was creating.

RUMBLE

Reality itself trembled as his Verse brought forth the creation within his mind upon reality.

God’s Hammer had undergone sixteen editions since it was created centuries ago, usually whenever a new wave of technological advancement and innovation washed over dwarven civilization, warranting a new design.

The technologies that Dwight had prepared for God’s Hammer were the very pinnacle of dwarven tech combined with esoteric matter.
