The Martial Unity

The emergence of an alien intruder was not missed by any means. The Colton Star System was the nexus of an entire cell, with the highest security standards in the entire cell. Countless ascendent arakaian agents, small crafts, and even warships were immediately dispatched towards the intruder from all directions.

”Surrender. And. Yield!”

Rui’s ethereal eyes, of course, never so much as even flashed in their direction. They weren’t worthy of his attention. In the face of a Transcendent, they were merely insects. Never once taking his eyes off his enemy, he activated his Realms of power.

Only o-ooooo understood what he was trying to do, widening her eyes with horror. ”No!”

RUMBLE!!!!!

From within the depths of his being, an extraordinary flood of Water emerged. One that was moved at superluminal speeds, expanding outwards like the birth of a universe. His mind unfolded upon the information dimension itself, imposing his vision of the world upon reality.

It was a world of water.

To the humans, these waters were waters of salvation. They were the sign that the Emperor of Water had taken action. They were safe. No matter who the opponent. No matter how many. No matter what the threat or what the situation. These waters would cleanse the entire world.

To the arakai, however, these waters were the waters of destruction and desolation. Rui didn’t hold back, allowing his Martial Embodiment to destroy everything it touched.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

In the blink of an eye, the Water destroyed the many warships, warcrafts, and ascended arakai. Though these ships were equipped with prothanite, and these arakai were some of the finest warriors their civilization had to offer, it didn’t matter.

In the face of the might of a Transcendent, their power was all but naught.

The Divine Mother o-ooooo’s gritted her teeth, activating her own Webverse to counter the expansion of his Martialverse. A world of webs emerged from her mind, as if the vast mind web within her brain was being projected upon reality.

RUMBLE!!!!!

She employed every ounce of power that she was able to muster to protect her people from not just the physical force of the expanding world of water, but also from the shockingly high mental strain. Rui’s Martial Embodiment had reached a level of information density that was lethal to ordinary minds the moment even when he was a Martial Master.

With the current power he possessed, he could erase the integrated information of all lifeforms within a star system.

That was what Divine Mother o-ooooo fought to protect her people from. As a Divine Mother, she primarily specialized in manipulating the webs of the mind, unlike many of her sisters.

Born with a Webverse was not the same as being born with proficiency in the Webverse, especially when proficiency came at the cost of disappearing. Instead, they needed to familiarize themselves with their webverses over a lifetime and focus on mastering some aspect of reality that their webverses had affinities for.

RUMBLE!!!!!

Two Verses dominated an entire star system.

From the outside, the mortal eyes could only behold anomalies that beggared the imagination. All they saw was a microcosm of water expanding outside Planet Nest VII, expanding forth with a violent power, only to clash with a world of webs that struggled to bind the Water and keep it in place.

Divine Mother o-ooooo’s pincers gnashed against each other as she pushed herself to the very limit, struggling to contain the power of Rui’s Martialverse. Her six arachnid eyes were wide with shock not just at how extraordinary his Verse was, but also at how much information it contained.

She belatedly realized that his mind was his most extraordinary attribute. He was able to outmatch even her on this front, despite the fact that she specialized in webs of mind, forcing her to go all out just to prevent the complete destruction of the nexus capital of her cell.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The entire star system shook as the two Verses blasted against each other with extraordinary intensity. The collision between the Verses was unlike anything any of the mortals had ever seen.

It was not like the collisions of two explosions.

It was as though the very nature of the universe was fighting against itself. Like two corrupting viruses jousting for control over a computer system. It didn’t release blasts through space, or cause an enormous amount of matter and energy to spew out in all directions. The ripples that spill over from the clash didn’t spread through space and time, but through information itself.

It was a battle that took place at another level. Two consciousnesses with phenomenological uniformity wrestled for control over the very source of reality itself. Every arakai lifeform within the star system understood that this was a battle they had no place in.

No warship or superweapon could possibly intervene.

This was a battle between deities.

The only thing they could do was pray for the best and run.

”Evacuate. All. Citizens. Immediately!”

”Use. Emergency. Wormholes. To. Escape!”

”Get. Out. Of. Here. Any. Way. You. Can!”

Evacuation from an entire star system means the displacement of billions and billions of individuals. It was logistically impossible for smaller civilizations like human civilization, which was why all people in the Arima III System had been wiped out.

However, Arakai Web Civilization was a much more developed civilization that was, by nature, more interconnected.

Divine Mother o-ooooo’s six eyes lit up with a glint of the arakai equivalent of hope. She had managed to protect her people from the genocidal attack of the hateful Administrator. She was confident that she had managed to foil his plan.

She didn’t realize how mistaken she was until it was too late.

WHOOSH

Rui appeared right above her in the blink of an eye, his leg swinging down in a clean axe kick. It was only when she beheld the intense depths of his ethereal eyes that she understood.

’They were not the targets; I was.’

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A devastating explosion erupted as his foot crushed the Divine Mother through her planet. The destruction of an entire planet was mild collateral damage in a battle between Transcendents.
