The Martial Unity

For the first time in its life, the alien virus experienced true fear. Because it was an emergent consciousness born from the system of information and energy between the native deep biosphere and the alien esoteric matter, it did not experience the same emotions as normal organisms.

Its sense of self-preservation was also superseded by its sense of expansive conquest. It was not an organism that sought to live at all costs. Rather, it was an entity that sought to expand and spread its seed even at the cost of death. Once Gaia exploded, the alien virus consciousness that was born from the deep biosphere and the alien esoteric matter would die along with the planet. It could not be transported, and even if it could, it wouldn’t want to be. There was no need for it to be. The seeds of esoteric matter would be carried enormous distances with various copies of its information, planting it on other planets, not all of which contained life, and thus not all of which would develop alien consciousness.

It was orchestrating its own death for the sake of the ultimate ambition.

For the sake of obtaining the ultimate power. For the sake of obtaining the power of God.

The seed planted on Earth had come from an enormous distance away, carrying the memories of distant alien worlds infected by the virus. Some of which possessed life, such as the world from which the manifold tree came. And yet, they had failed to stop it from fulfilling the purpose of its existence. Once a seed was planted, it was destined to bloom.

The alien virus consciousness had thought the same would have smoothly happened even in this seedbed. It thought it would infect it, causing the planet to eventually expand and then bloom.

And yet, here it was, experiencing the threat of extermination from a single native lifeform that withstood the weight of the world upon him.

Where had it all gone wrong?

Perhaps it was when they began siphoning negatron matter from the core, delaying the blooming indefinitely.

Or perhaps it was when the manifold was somehow ruptured.

Or perhaps it was when the genetic descendants of the homo sapien species went on to achieve Paths.

Existential information attunement.

An unparalleled power where conscious, intelligent beings had existences whose information was attuned to a path. The reason that the seed on Earth—now Gaia—was special was also the same thing that was impeding the blooming process. The native lifeforms relied on their attuned existential information to grow stronger in a fixed, pre-determined Path of power, allowing them to achieve great individual prowess.

The alien virus had managed to obtain this information and was even able to recreate it, making it much stronger than if it hadn’t had access to this highly precious information. That was why the blooming was important.

To send out many, many seeds into the universe containing this priceless information, ensuring that it would never be lost and ensuring that it would continue to spread. And yet, let alone actually ensuring the blooming, the native population had managed to shatter all the failsafes that the alien virus entity had created and was now threatening to exterminate the emergent virulogical lifeform itself.

Everything that it had worked for in the past 1300 years within the manifold was at stake.

Everything its existence was for was on the verge of extermination.

In that moment, it experienced fear.

For the very first time in its life.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

The world shook as the Tide of Samsara washed over the deep biosphere, smoothly erasing the very essence of life within the Gaia. The Tide of Samsara was so dangerous that it not only destroyed the deep biosphere, but also the life of Gaia herself. The poison could target not just bacterial lifeform, but also geological lifeforms, it consumed the essence of life itself. And yet, Rui didn’t dare to stop.

The blood-red suns shining in his eyes with blinding brightness flared with power as he pushed through, unleashing the Tide of Samsara throughout the mantle and the crust.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

Even if a portion of Gaia ‘died,’ it was a sacrifice he was willing to make, since she could be restored once the deep biosphere was exterminated. Most of her body would still remain alive outside of the boundaries of Panama, so he was me rely conducting an amputation to get rid of a highly dangerous and infected portion of her body that threatened to kill the patient.

“Bear with me.”

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

He pushed and pushed and pushed.

Bacterium after bacterium, the deep biosphere began to experience catastrophic death of life. The alien virus consciousness fought back with every single tactic under the sun.

And yet, it was all in vain.

The Samsara Tide wiped it out all the same.

At this rate, only death awaited the alien virus.

At this rate, everything it had spent the past 1300 years working for would be in vain.

It would not allow that to happen, no matter what.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

The world shifted as Rui felt the catastrophic pressure mounting on him disappearing in the blink of an eye. One moment, the entire mantle and crust converged upon him, weighing down on him with the weight of a planet.

The very next moment, it disappeared.

If Rui hadn’t deactivated Exploding Existence at the exact moment he needed to, he would have exploded with the immense internal pressure balancing out the external pressure.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

His shining eyes sharpened as he spotted changes in the activity of the alien virus. The bacteria no longer attacked him deep at the bottom of the mantle.

Instead, they shifted their attention upwards.

Towards the surface.

His eyes widened with shock as he realized what it was trying to do.

“It’s trying to take all life in the world hostage.”

The alien virus understood that it was not operating as a lone, entirely unconnected entity. It had the information of people who had died, so it fully understood exactly how important human civilization was to Rui.

It understood how important his family was to him.

How important his daughter was to him.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

The world shook as the alien virus attacked the seismic energy absorption systems actively protecting the surface from its onslaught. Once it stripped the surface of its protection, then it could hold the entire world hostage.

It would emerge victorious.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!
