The Martial Unity

The surge of plasma charged towards the Kandrian Empire with an extraordinary amount of power within it.

The fate of the Kandrian Empire was all but sealed.

Its destiny had been reduced to naught.

Everything that it could have been was doomed to be destroyed.

And yet, that didn’t happen.

WHOOSH

Sentinel Prime’s eyes widened with shock.

The attack disappeared.

One moment, it charged towards the Kandrian Empire, threatening to destroy everything everywhere within it.

The very next moment, it was gone.

WHOOSH

In its place appeared him.

Time itself dilated.

Time itself dilated in the eyes of each and every single person beholding his very presence in this universe.

His body was transparent.

It was ethereal.

As if he were a god from a higher plane who graced their lesser world with his presence.

Light permeated through it harmoniously.

The dark tint to his ethereal being blended with the darkness of the night.

His movements were graceful.

His expression was profoundly ineffable.

His ethereal eyes contained an unfathomable depth.

The world went silent.

One moment, an extraordinary swirl of winds brushed over the land and ocean while the earth rumbled tumultuously.

The very next moment, the heavens froze while the oceans grew silent.

The tsunami that had coursed through the Kandrian Empire had disappeared.

All the water that had entered the Kandrian Empire was gone.

The very fabric of space and time warped in his presence.

Heaven and earth bent to his very being.

“Rui…?” Just the faintest of shocked whispers escaped Max and Mana, breaking the dark silence that hung over the world.

It was as if time unfroze.

Rui never once glanced at them.

He hung in the heavens as his pupils dilated.

A profound sense of peace and harmony emanated from him.

It was infectious.

It overwhelmed the dread of war.

The grief.

The terror.

All of it seemed to drown in the profound sense of harmony that Rui’s very existence emanated to the rest of the world.

Sentinel Prime’s shining cybernetic eyes sharpened as NOVA studied the differences he had undergone since she had last seen him.

They were considerable.

She couldn’t sense his power.

Before, as mighty as the power she sensed from him was, it was still within comprehension.

Now, she could not sense even an iota of his power through Sentinel Prime’s senses. Not even the powerful top-ten powerhouse could fathom the power that Rui’s existence harbored.

“You…” Sentinel Prime’s eyes sharpened. “What have you done?”

Rui remained silent.

His eyes gazed towards the sentinel leader, but NOVA sensed that his gaze did not stop there.

It went far beyond.

It was as if he beheld the entirety of the cosmos that stretched out infinitely in the direction of his gaze.

In an incomprehensible gesture, his eyes shifted down to the ground.

He gazed deep into the ground.

Into the land itself.

Into the depths of Gaia herself.

Nothing was beyond the depth of his extraordinary gaze.

“Enough of this farce,” Sentinel Prime growled. “You have come. But you have come too late. I have destroyed almost a quarter of your nation. Behold your great cities—all reduced to rubble!”

Sentinel Prime spread his arms with triumph as he gestured to East Kandria as a whole.

The tsunami was miraculously and mysteriously gone, but entire cities, including the port city, were completely leveled and flattened by the force of an extraordinarily destructive tsunami.

“And now, to secure the future of human civilization from the tyranny of you and your ilk of esoteric miracles,” Sentinel Prime raised his hand towards Rui and the Kandrian Empire at large. “I will destroy you and the Kandrian Empire forever.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as Sentinel Prime generated a tremendous amount of swirling plasma held together by an extraordinarily powerful electromagnetic field.

An attack even greater than the one he had unleashed before.

It inspired fear in the hearts of each and every single person who beheld the sentinel.

Even if they had Rui, a battle between the top-ten most powerful pathwalkers in the world was one that would destroy all of Kandria at such close proximity.

All hope was lost the moment Sentinel Prime and the Suneater had reached the Kandrian Empire.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

The world shook violently as Sentinel Prime unleashed a second charge of plasma, threatening to destroy everything.

Rui barely moved.

He lifted his arm slowly.

And then, he gently waved his hand.

A lethargic gesture.

And yet, it was enough.

WHOOSH

In the blink of an eye, countless wormholes opened up across the intense and enormous plasma.

Each and every single ion and electron was absorbed by a wormhole.

One moment, the destructive attack threatened to destroy all of Kandria yet again.

The very next moment, it was gone.

Teleported to a different location.

A location that was too close to home.

Literally.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Far away in the Continent of Acherialis, an enormous explosion of plasma erupted across the mainland, swallowing up an entire military industrial complex.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as the destructive plasma spread thousands and thousands of kilometers in radius in the blink of an eye. The destruction did not simply reduce everything on the surface of the land in the blink of an eye, the destruction sank deeper and deeper into the ground, melting the very bedrock and the crust, destabilizing the very foundation of land was born where there was civilization.

A quality of destruction that was orders of magnitude above the Sage Realm.

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook as a small portion of the Continent of Acherialis began glowing even from outer space.

Sentinel Prime’s expression crumpled with ferocious rage. “You dare?”

RUMBLE!!!

His body shook with a profound amount of power as he mobilized an unfathomable amount of energy across his cyborg body.

“You will pay for inflicting a wound on the heart of tekvorian civilization!”

Sentinel Prime charged towards Rui with an astronomical amount of speed.

And yet, time slowed down.

Sentinel Prime widened his eyes as time slowed down.

He watched.

He watched with bated breath as an unfathomable microcosm of water emerged from the depths of Rui’s very existence.

RUMBLE!!!!!
