You're Put to Survival in the Wilderness, and the Animals Build You a Villa?

529: Chapter 577 Cruel Rules! The [Game Announcement] continued.

After explaining the rules, next came the punishments for the ”Elimination Round.”

[During the Elimination Round stage, the flag ownership leaderboard will be purged every three days.

Any civilization at the bottom of the rankings will be directly eliminated and have punishment imposed.]

[Announcement ends. The Elimination Round officially begins now.]

[Leaderboard purge countdown: 71:59:59.

71:59:58...

...]]

Outside, the viewers in the live broadcast room instantly exploded with excitement as they watched the start of the Elimination Round.

”Holy cow! A capture the flag match?”

”This is forcing a war between every civilization!”

”These flags can also produce an exclusive hundred-man army every day? Isn’t that a bit unfair?”

”...”

This meant that the more flags one had, the stronger their power would be.

It would be incredibly difficult for others to try and snatch flags later on.

In other words, the earlier one obtained more flags, the greater the advantage.

The key was that one couldn’t just slack off in the ”Elimination Round”; there was no way to just scrape by.

The leaderboard would be purged every three days. Any civilization that tried to slack off or just survive ignobly would inevitably be eliminated first.

And being eliminated meant the destruction of the civilization.

The four words ”impose punishment” in the [Game Announcement] were written lightly, yet they made many people’s hearts skip a beat.

Both the audience and the contestants felt immense pressure, especially those with low comprehensive strength ratings.

With so many S-Class Civilizations above them in the Elimination Round, how were these low-level civilizations supposed to win?

Inside the game.

An Ke couldn’t help but frown.

”Good grief~ Master, the rules of the Elimination Round are intended to completely eliminate the possibility of alliances between civilization contestants,” little Roman said meaningfully.

Fungus Kuku snorted disdainfully: ”These rules are truly disgusting.”

”Must it always be a fight to the death between civilizations?”

”It’s simply preposterous!!”

In the crowd, contestants like Kata, Jin Xiaoxiao, and Oufu strongly agreed with Fungus Kuku’s words.

The rules of the [Game]’s Elimination Round were too problematic. Why force civilizations to fight each other?

Besides dissatisfaction, contestants like Kata also felt a sense of relief.

Thank goodness, they belonged to the same civilization as An Ke. Otherwise, they would be in big trouble.

Perhaps the contestants from their respective countries would have been the first to be purged.

Fortunately, they were members of the Blue Star Civilization.

As long as the Blue Star Civilization wasn’t at the bottom of the leaderboard, they wouldn’t be purged.

Contestants from other countries also shared this thought.

When they saw Blue Star Civilization clearly listed on the leaderboard, the contestants from the Lighthouse, Sun Never Sets, Kangaroo, and all the other countries were beyond excited.

This excitement was like being matched with a god-tier carry by the matchmaking system; it felt amazing.

They only needed to play it safe—not seeking merit, but just making sure they didn’t make any mistakes.

Wait! It seemed like it didn’t even matter if these contestants made mistakes, right?

After all, they couldn’t influence An Ke at all...

Did An Ke need these contestants to help him in a team fight? Not at all.

In short, the contestants from various countries were in a great mood.

Especially those from countries like the Lighthouse and Kangaroo.

This is great!! They could finally experience what it felt like to ride someone’s coattails.

As long as An Ke remained stable, they could hold their ground.

But if An Ke couldn’t hold on, then no matter how many contestants they had, it would be useless; they wouldn’t be able to stay stable at all.

At this moment, An Ke’s influence wasn’t just massive in already friendly countries like the Dog Tycoon and White Goose.

His influence had also reached its peak in other countries.

Every country understood that with the [Game] reaching this stage, they had to rely on An Ke.

Without An Ke, the Blue Star Civilization would surely perish.

Only An Ke could prevent Human Civilization from vanishing from the universe.

Continue to oppose Dragon Country? Don’t be ridiculous.

Now every country was sucking up to Dragon Country, fearing they wouldn’t be able to get in its good graces. The world already revolved around Dragon Country.

At this time, the bullet comments most frequently sent by Foreigners in the live broadcast room were things like ”So glad to be in the same civilization as An Ke,” ”Finally getting to experience being carried to victory,” ”If An Ke is well, humanity is well”... and so on.

An Ke had even gained a nickname recognized by most people in the world—Leg Brother.

Inside the broadcast.

An Ke’s brow was slightly furrowed, equally dissatisfied with the [Game]’s rules.

Purging the bottom civilizations on the leaderboard every three days?

Doesn’t that mean in the end, he, the Fungus Race, and the Thousand Changes Race must compete for top rank?

You’ve got to be kidding me.

An Ke was decisive when dealing with enemies, but he wasn’t so decisive when it came to friends and partners.

How could this problem be solved?

...

The 99th Realm conference room.

Tike, General Fama, and several other nobles, as well as Number 1379 and the Chief Steward, all looked quite grim after seeing the rules of the Elimination Round.

”There have never been such strict rules in an Elimination Round before!” Number 1379 cried out, unable to understand.

Although most previous Elimination Rounds were one-on-one, advancing step by step, two civilizations didn’t necessarily have to fight to the death; one side could surrender.

But now, they were being forced to determine life and death between civilizations.

”The [Game] is planning to force An Ke into a position where he cannot form alliances with other civilizations,” Tike murmured.

”Actually, it’s quite normal. If the [Game] really wants to target An Ke, it certainly wouldn’t want him to have teammates; he would have to fight alone.”

Dainike said in a heavy voice.

This meant that if An Ke persisted to the end, he would eventually have to face twelve S-Class Civilizations alone.

Or even an SS-Class Civilization.

The nobles had all witnessed An Ke’s formidable strength, but could he really compare to an S-Class Civilization?

The nobles felt it would be difficult. Those civilization contestants had all entered the Mid-Sequence and had even progressed quite a bit.

Whether it was their physical bodies, abilities, the size of their membership, or the scale of their armies, they far surpassed An Ke.

S-Class was already hard to surpass, let alone SS-Class...

”Hey! Do you think An Ke can make it to the end?” Fama glanced at Tike and the other nobles.

Tike smiled helplessly: ”The Elimination Round has just begun, and no one has made a move yet. How are we supposed to know if you ask that?”

”In any case, we just have to wait and see.” Dainike, on the other hand, was more open-minded.

”Besides, the [Game] targeting An Ke is just our one-sided speculation. Maybe it’s not targeting An Ke at all?

This change might be just as the Joint Committee said—a universal-scale major reshuffle.

If that’s really the case, both you and I will eventually be swept up in this major reshuffle.

Don’t forget, the [Game] stands above us!”

Dainike’s words plunged Tike, Fama, and the other nobles into deep thought.

They never expected that they, as god-level beings, would one day have to think about a major reshuffle of the universal landscape.

I really don’t know what the [Game] is planning to do...
