My Xianxia Harem Life

Chapter 234: Chapter 234 Tag

Fiona woke up, her body aching in the most delicious way, and still couldn’t believe what had unfolded over the past days.

Every moment with Riley felt like a dream she never wanted to wake from.

What stunned her most was his unwavering presence—he hadn’t left her side for more than a week.

He stayed with her through the nights and days, touching her, holding her, making love to her with such intensity that it left her trembling with aftershocks long after.

During that time, Riley didn’t just claim her body—he worshipped it.

He explored every inch of her with relentless passion and tenderness, learning what made her sigh, what made her scream, and what made her completely fall apart in his arms.

No part of her was left untouched, no boundary left unexplored.

He kissed her deeply, whispered things that set her skin on fire, and took his time, savoring every reaction she gave him.

Fiona was in a state of near-constant bliss.

Her senses were always on edge, waiting—yearning—for the next time he would pull her close and take her breath away.

Just the sound of his voice, the brush of his fingers, or even the way he looked at her with raw desire could send shivers down her spine.

Every time he entered her, she felt more than just pleasure—she felt a connection that tied her soul to his.

She wasn’t just passive either.

There were moments when Fiona’s desire overtook her entirely.

She would push Riley back onto the bed with a wicked smile and ride him hard, taking control, making herself come as she cried out his name.

Her hair would cling to her damp skin, her hands braced against his chest, her eyes locked with his in hungry desperation.

The pleasure they gave each other wasn’t just physical—it was emotional, a deep, unspoken affirmation of everything they shared.

With every night they spent wrapped in each other’s arms, the bond between them only grew stronger.

What began as passion had evolved into something even more powerful—a connection rooted in intimacy, trust, and relentless desire.

Fiona had never felt so wanted, so needed, and so utterly alive.

She no longer doubted what they had.

Every touch, every kiss, every breathless moan she gave him was proof that she belonged to him—and he, completely, to her.

After that, Riley finally began to live in peace. The chaos of battle, the burdens of responsibility, and the weight of expectation seemed to fade—at least for a while.

For the first time in what felt like ages, he could breathe freely.

Still, his thoughts often drifted to the people he left behind.

He didn’t want his parents to worry about him, especially now that he had stepped into a realm far beyond mortal comprehension.

With the power of infinite clones at his disposal, he created one infused with a sliver of his soul and sent it back to the Nine Cauldrons Continent.

That clone was more than just a guardian—it was his eyes, his voice, and his strength watching over them.

This arrangement brought him unexpected peace of mind.

With a simple thought, he could instantly swap places with his clone and return home in a flash.

Distance and borders meant nothing now. What once required perilous journeys through void storms and teleportation arrays now took mere seconds. Travel had become trivial.

And so, the days passed quietly.

Riley spent his time enjoying his life in seclusion, sightseeing atop celestial mountains, and exploring mysterious realms hidden from lesser beings.

His presence had all but vanished from the public eye. His true body nowhere to be seen. But peace was never eternal.

Then, one day, it happened.

BANG!

A sudden, deafening explosion tore through the skies like a divine hammer striking the heavens.

Lightning danced across the clouds, twisting and splitting the firmament open.

Mountains trembled. Rivers surged and overflowed.

The ground cracked open in long, jagged lines as if the very earth was howling in protest.

The heavens quaked, and the lands rolled as if some primeval force had awoken from a slumber too long.

The shockwave rippled across the continents, shaking even the most hidden sects and sealed realms. In cities, temples, and training grounds alike, cultivators paused mid-step, their hearts pounding with instinctive dread.

Voices echoed across the lands.

”What just happened?!”

”Was that... a tribulation? No—this felt different.”

”Could it be a forbidden technique?”

”Impossible! That pressure—it’s far beyond anything we’ve ever felt!”

In every corner of the world, cultivators lifted their eyes to the heavens, feeling an unfamiliar fear creep into their hearts.

”Let’s go. We need to see it for ourselves!”

From all directions, figures soared into the sky—sect elders, rogue cultivators, young geniuses, and even hermits long thought dead.

Clouds parted under the weight of their auras as they raced toward the origin of the disturbance.

Some came out of curiosity.

Some out of fear.

And others... came seeking opportunity.

It didn’t take long for the cultivators to arrive at the scene of the disturbance.

One by one, streaks of light descended from the heavens—elders wrapped in divine robes, rogue cultivators cloaked in mystery, ambitious young geniuses burning with desire, and even sect leaders who hadn’t shown themselves for decades.

All of them gathered in the same place, their gazes locked onto the sky, where a jagged, black slit hung motionless.

It wasn’t just a tear—it was a wound in the very fabric of the heavens, pulsing softly like a beating heart.

But what truly caught their attention wasn’t the slit itself—it was the sheer density of spiritual energy flooding from it.

The very air trembled with power, making the land feel alive and volatile.

Even the most seasoned cultivators felt their hearts race as they stepped closer.

”This... this place is overflowing with essence!” a middle-aged man gasped, eyes wide.

”The spiritual energy here is at least ten times denser than the core of our sect’s sacred ground!”

”I can feel my cultivation stirring just by standing here...” another whispered, his hands trembling as he tried to calm the qi swirling inside him.

”What is that thing in the sky?” a younger woman asked, shielding her eyes from the glare of the rift’s glow. ”Is it some kind of celestial treasure?”

”Could it be a secret realm?” an older cultivator mused, stroking his beard thoughtfully. ”Or perhaps... a fragment of the Divine World that broke off and fell here?”

No one had a definitive answer, but speculation ran wild.

”I don’t care what it is,” a bold rogue cultivator said with a grin, lifting off the ground. ”I’m going in. If fortune favors me, I’ll come out as an immortal!”

Several others nodded in agreement and followed, flying toward the rift.

One by one, they reached the slit—and disappeared into it without a sound, their auras vanishing as if they’d been swallowed whole.

Moments passed.

Then minutes.

Not one of them returned.

The air turned heavy with tension.

”...They haven’t come back,” someone finally said, voice uneasy.

”Maybe they found treasures inside and don’t want to leave?” a hopeful voice suggested.

”Or maybe they’re dead,” came the cold reply from an elder. ”Did none of you feel that sinister aura hiding behind the spiritual essence? Something is watching.”

A younger cultivator took a step back, pale-faced. ”D-Do we still go in?”

”Are you stupid?” barked an elder from a prominent sect. ”Do you want to throw your life away just because you’re curious?”

”Follow those fools and see how fast you vanish too. That rift isn’t just a gate—it’s a test. Or a trap.”

The crowd grew silent.

Some still stared at the rift, tempted. Others wisely retreated a few steps, waiting.

A few, sensing the gravity of the situation, activated their communication talismans.

One elder infused his spiritual energy into a glowing jade slip and whispered into it,

”Unidentified spatial anomaly detected in the northern sky. Unstable rift emitting massive spiritual essence. Several cultivators entered—none returned. Awaiting orders.”

The jade burned with golden light and shot off toward the sky, carrying the message toward distant sects and hidden realms.

Across the world, bells began to toll in ancient temples. Sealed halls opened. Slumbering monsters stirred beneath mountain peaks.

The message had reached more than just cultivators—it had awakened forces that had not moved in centuries.

News of the strange celestial rift spread like wildfire, carried by spiritual messengers, flying beasts, and whispering winds.

What began as a local disturbance soon became the most talked-about event across the entire cultivation world.

Within days, every corner of the realm—from the smallest mountain clans to the most ancient and reclusive sects—had heard of the phenomenon.

And not a single one took it lightly.

It began with rumors—tales of a tear in the sky leaking overwhelming spiritual essence, of cultivators vanishing into a slit between worlds, and of a realm untouched by time.

The accounts varied, some exaggerated, some grounded in truth, but they all shared one thing in common: a promise of unimaginable opportunity.

Within hours of receiving the news, major sects sprang into action. They did not want to miss this fortuitous encounter. Everyone wanted a piece of the pie and as always, they would fight for it with everything they got.

This was the norm for their world.
