Fated to My Billionaire Husband

”Ansel, Junqi, when did you get here?” Jian Yufei asked happily.

Ansel raised his head, his eyes misty with tears, ”Mommy, you’ve forgotten about us.”

Jian Yufei chuckled and rubbed the little one’s head, ”Mommy’s been very busy lately, I’m sorry for neglecting you.”

Ansel smiled, ”As long as mommy doesn’t leave us in the future.”

”Of course, before you grow up, mommy won’t leave you.”

Ansel immediately misunderstood her meaning.

He thought mommy planned to leave them once they grew up to be with their daddy.

Ansel suddenly hugged her leg tightly, nervously saying, ”Mommy, daddy is definitely coming back! You can’t just stay with us until we grow up and then leave, you should at least see me get married and have kids!”

Jian Yufei was slightly stunned.

”Also, you have to stay with your grandchild as they grow up too. When your grandchild has kids, you’ll need to be there for your great-grandchild.”

Jian Yufei was originally feeling a bit sentimental, but after hearing his words, she found it funny and exasperating.

”Then mommy will become an old monster.”

”Mommy’s not an old monster; mommy’s an old longevity star!”

Jian Yufei smiled, ”Alright, mommy will try to be an old longevity star.”

Ansel beamed, showing a row of pearly white teeth, ”Mommy, you must keep your promises, don’t trick children.”

Thinking it over, he felt it wasn’t very secure, and held out his little finger, ”Let’s make a pinky promise.”

Jian Yufei squatted down, understanding Ansel’s emotions; he was worried she might not be able to cope.

With such small children, how could she bear to leave them, causing them to be sad and upset?

Besides, she firmly believed Ruan Tianling was still alive, so she wouldn’t do anything reckless.

”Alright, let’s make a pinky promise.” Jian Yufei held out her little finger and linked it with his.

Ansel chanted, ”Pinky promise, hang tight, no changes for a hundred years, those who do are little dogs.”

Jian Yufei laughed; this son actually had a childish and adorable side.

”Mommy, pinky promise!” Junqi felt left out and held out his finger too.

Jian Yufei suddenly felt like teasing him, ”Sweetheart, do you know what a pinky promise means?”

Junqi looked a bit confused, glancing at Ansel, then at Jian Yufei, shaking his head.

”A pinky promise is when two people agree on something, and after promising, you can’t easily change it. Do you understand?”

Junqi nodded, semi-comprehending.

Jian Yufei then asked, ”Why do you want to make a pinky promise with mommy?”

(⊙o⊙)?

Why indeed?

Wasn’t it because his brother made a pinky promise with her, so he wanted one too?

Or was it not?

Junqi looked at Ansel, but Ansel didn’t help him, ”Think about what I said to mommy just now, and you’ll understand.”

”(⊙o⊙) Oh...”

Junqi then started pondering deeply.

Unknown to anyone, in his mind, he was replaying the earlier conversation between Jian Yufei and Ansel, with not a word missed.

He had a very strong memory, but his comprehension wasn’t fully developed yet.

Jian Yufei didn’t interrupt his thoughts.

Junqi was already five years old, she couldn’t spoil him too much; it was time to help him mature a little.

Jian Yufei stood up, and only then did she notice a little girl standing in the room.

The little girl had shoulder-length hair, cut neatly, especially the bangs on her forehead, tidy like the teeth of a comb.

Seeing her, Jian Yufei was visibly stunned.
