Family Rise by Daily Intelligence

Chapter 311: Chapter 180: Joyful Events Abound, Meizhen’s Foundation Establishment, Five Major Family Goals (3)

”Patriarch, what are the standards for promotion to the eighth-grade?”

”There are five requirements for promotion to the eighth-grade. The first is that the family must have fifteen members with Foundation Establishment Battle Power.”

Upon hearing this.

Third brother Fu Changli murmured:

”This condition is too absurd. A single Foundation Establishment Pill is hard to come by. It’s not easy for the family to produce one Foundation Establishment in ten years. Currently, we have only three Foundation Establishment members at best. It will take forever to gather fifteen members.”

No wonder the other Ninth-Grade Noble Families haven’t been promoted after all these years.

Just this one requirement has stopped countless people.

Fu Changsheng waved his hand and said:

”Third brother, let me finish. The Court’s requirement of fifteen members with battle power includes not only our Fu Family members but also our spirit pets.”

”Currently, we have spirit pets at Tier Two, including Meizhen’s Two-headed Green-eyed Python, fourth sister’s Illusion Jade Peak Queen Bee, my Centipede Mother, Cyan Python, Spirit-devouring Insect, and Tier Two Ghost Servant. Counting as Foundation Establishment members, we already have nine members with battle power, which is only six short of the target.”

Before he finished speaking.

Sitting in the second seat on the left, Fu Molan spoke:

”Reporting to the Patriarch, the Windbreak Beast you gifted me successfully broke through to Tier Two last month.”

”Oh, with this, we are only five members short of meeting the first requirement!”

And he has three Foundation Establishment Pills on hand.

This indicates that the promotion to eighth-grade is not far away.

Everyone’s expression gradually relaxed upon hearing this.

Fu Changren hurriedly asked:

”Patriarch, what about the other four conditions?”

”The second condition is that there must be ten Tier Two Artisans in the clan. Currently, we meet this standard with Elder Gan, Uncle Yu, Elder Shi, fourth sister, third brother, Elder Runzhi, Meizhen, myself, Elder Yuwen Wei, Elder Cai. We have exactly ten, and the second standard is already met ahead of schedule.”

”Furthermore”

”The other three conditions are that there must be two Ninth-Grade Noble Families in the territory, one Tier Three Spirit Vein, and Merit Points reaching twenty thousand.”

Upon hearing this.

The previously jubilant expressions turned into deep concern.

Liuu Meizhen was the first to speak:

”Among these three conditions, the Tier Three Spirit Vein can be achieved as long as spirit stones are sufficient. Grandmaster Yu, but do you know how many spirit stones are needed to upgrade the current Tier Two Middle-Grade Spirit Vein to Tier Three?”

”Two hundred thousand low-grade spirit stones.”

Two hundred thousand?!

This figure would be astronomical for the Fu Family in the past.

Fu Changren quickly calculated:

”Two hundred thousand spirit stones is something our family could accumulate over ten to twenty years if everyone tightens their belts.”

For cultivators.

Ten years is not considered long.

The challenge is cultivating two Ninth-Grade Noble Families.

Sitting at the lower end, Fu Molan spoke again:

”Let everyone know that not long ago, one of our vassal families, the Yu Family—Yu Qingru—has already broken through to Foundation Establishment. They already have one Foundation Establishment member. I believe it won’t be a problem to produce another Foundation Establishment cultivator in the next decade. By then, helping the Yu Family become the first Ninth-Grade Noble Family in our territory shouldn’t be difficult. As for the second Ninth-Grade Noble Family, the Huli Mountain Tea Farmer Li Family members have no Foundation Establishment Seeds. We might have to choose another Qi Cultivation Clan to join.”

After a pause.

Fu Molan added:

”The next family to become our Fu Family vassal should preferably have an existing Foundation Establishment cultivator, which would save a lot of time when upgrading to Ninth-Grade.”

Everyone started strategizing.

Fourth sister Fu Changli also suggested:

”As for two thousand Court Merit Points, I think our family could form a War Hall. Firstly, we could venture into the Ten Thousand Ghosts Abyss to slay ghost creatures for merit points; Secondly, we could go to the Eastern Wilderness Border to hunt solitary Southern Barbarians; Thirdly, we could team up to hunt in the Ten Thousand Mountains, increasing earnings while honing combat skills.”

Fu Changsheng’s eyes lit up:

”Fourth sister, your suggestion is excellent.”

”To be honest, the Seven Miles Mountain Demon Cave in Anyang County is about to erupt, and the Court will issue a recruitment order. Many members of our clan will likely be called up, so it’s best to select some disciples for specialized training as a precaution.”

”And”

”The demon cave eruption is bad news, but it’s also a great opportunity for us to accumulate merit points.”

”Who among us wants to oversee the War Hall?”

Overseeing the War Hall.

One must have strong abilities, else they won’t be able to keep the group in line, and also have ample combat experience.

Almost everyone looked at Fu Molan on the lower left.

Fu Molan and Liuu Meizhen are both Foundation Establishment cultivators.

But Liuu Meizhen generally focuses on alchemy, and rarely engages in dharma combat. On the other hand, Fu Molan and Fu Changsheng have gone out for training several times, making him the most qualified.

Seeing this, Fu Molan didn’t decline and responded openly:

”Since that’s the case, I’ll oversee the War Hall.”

”Good, then next, Molan, you’ll be responsible for selecting and training disciples from the clan.”

Just as Fu Changsheng finished speaking.

Older brother Fu Changren said:

”Patriarch, previously Yongshang proposed constructing a marketplace in the territory, asking you for a detailed plan, which I’ve handed over for your review. If the marketplace can be established, we won’t need twenty years to accumulate the spirit stones to upgrade our spirit vein.”

Fu Changsheng took the thick book handed over by Fu Changren and set it aside for the moment.

He turned to today’s real topic:

”This Elder Council meeting is actually to gather input on distributing Foundation Establishment Spiritual Objects when the clan acquires them next.”

Upon hearing this.

The group visibly stirred.

The Patriarch’s words might mean the clan still has Foundation Establishment Pills or similar spiritual objects, prompting everyone to focus intently. However, currently, only Liu Runzhi and Fu Changlii meet the Foundation Establishment conditions.

Liuu Meizhen, seeing everyone speechless, spoke first:

”To obtain Foundation Establishment Spiritual Objects, I propose the main criterion should be contribution points within the clan. After all, the family’s current achievements are thanks to everyone’s joint efforts. As for the required contribution points, it’s up to everyone’s opinion.”
