Immortality begins with Becoming an Alchemy Grandmaster

Xihong Plain.

It is a vast plain spanning a thousand miles within the Mo Tian Domain, with few mountains and rarely any ravines.

Logically, it is an ideal place for cultivation.

However, throughout the thousand-year history of Mo Tian Domain, no significant force has ever settled here.

The reason is that the Spirit Veins here are scattered and unruly, fundamentally unable to support even a moderately large force.

Scattered are only rogue cultivators and a few small clans struggling to survive.

But ever since the Luo Tian Sect took over Mo Tian Domain, everything changed.

The previously desolate Xihong Plain suddenly became bustling.

The crowds were dense, vehicles like dragons; every day there were numerous glints coming and going.

This change is due to the plan to establish an Immortal City here!

Luo Tian Sect leads, thirteen Golden Core Great Sects provide manpower and resources, and it’s rumored that even external forces are investing to gain a share.

This bustling scene results from that.

The construction of the Immortal City is not a day’s work; surveying Feng Shui, gathering Spirit Veins, arranging arrays, selecting talents for planning the city’s layout...

But no matter how slow, with the collective effort of immortal cultivators possessing individual great power, the progress speed far exceeds normal phenomena.

From the site selection to the implementation of visible signs and commencement of construction, merely two or three years passed before the most crucial city walls took shape.

Next, as long as the main roads are opened and the city layout is planned according to the Spirit Veins drawn by Golden Core Cultivators, it will be almost complete.

At this juncture, all participating cultivators are fervently busy, eagerly awaiting the completion day of the ”Red Plain Immortal City.”

It’s sure to be exceptionally lively then.

Rogue cultivators coming to join, merchants from all sides gathering, resources from all over Tian Nan coming in and out...

But amidst this lively scene, Sha Dragon Child, the Luo Tian Sect powerhouse supervising the construction, seemed absent-minded, seemingly indifferent to the grand occasion that everyone was looking forward to.

He leaned against a large tree outside the city, chewing a wildgrass in his mouth, his gaze directed afar.

Seemingly looking at the magnificent Immortal City about to be completed, or perhaps at the hazy sunset due to fall on the city wall, his eyes appeared slightly dazed.

A glint flew above from the sky, circled once, then flew back.

As the glint descended, a disciple retrieved his Flying Sword, walking and eagerly shouting:

”Master Uncle, today Pan Shi Gang is hosting a banquet for all, you...”

However, before he could finish his words, Sha Dragon Child impatiently interrupted him.

”Go away, I have no interest.”

The disciple paused, put away his smile, and cautiously squatted aside.

”What’s wrong, Master Uncle?”

Sha Dragon Child didn’t answer, only the wildgrass in his mouth was chewed out with green juice.

The disciple tentatively asked, ”Is it because of the Supreme Elder?”

The man suddenly paused his chewing, glaring at the disciple fiercely, frightening him into sitting on the ground.

Sha Dragon Child realized he’d scared the disciple, knowing that these years of fighting far and wide had imbued him with intense Evil Qi, beyond what this barely Foundation Establishment junior could withstand.

He restrained his Evil Qi, stood up, and pulled the disciple up.

Then, a long sigh followed.

Gazing at the now only-walled Red Plain Immortal City, Sha Dragon Child murmured, ”They’re only thinking about how to divide the Immortal City’s profits in the future, forgetting who the greatest contributor to conquering Luotian Domain was.”

”Everyone says not to forget the person who dug the well when drinking water, but merely three years later, who still cares about Junior Master Luo?”

The disciple scratched his head, ”Perhaps because there were rumors long ago that the Supreme Elder would leave Luo Tian Sect; although destinations differ, these people had long been mentally prepared, so they don’t care anymore!”

”Different destinations?”

Sha Dragon Child sneered, one is climbing to a Holy Land, the other is whereabouts unknown, can this be called different destinations?

But he wouldn’t argue with juniors.

Because for Luo Chen, everyone’s perception differs.

They only feel that he is a lofty and rarely seen Nascent Soul True Master, but to him, he’s the third closest person besides his mother and master.

Even after his mother’s passing and under his master’s harsh requirements, Luo Chen is more like a ”Kind Mother” to him.

Long before, when he had just entered his master’s sect and was undergoing brutal body refining for Foundation Establishment, often when he couldn’t persevere, Master Luo Chen comforted him kindly, using his father’s illustrious feats during the Qi Refinement Stage to inspire him.

Though later he found out his father wasn’t particularly formidable, and was quite dissolute before forming a Dao Companion with his mother.

During the Xiao Yue open war participation, Master Luo Chen frequently kept him by his side, offering advice, controlling enemy strength specifically for him to practice.

Not to mention if there were good things, Master Luo Chen was always the first to offer them to him.

Even when compared with other excellent contemporaries in the sect, Master Luo Chen always prioritized him.

Such a benevolent elder mysteriously disappeared without explanation.

Moreover, unlike the previous time.

At least the last time, Sect Master Sima assuredly claimed he was alive.

But this time...

”Nevermind, you represent me at the banquet! If Pan Shi Gang makes any extra requests, don’t agree, nor outright refuse, just delay.”

The disciple paused, then nodded and left.

After he left, Sha Dragon Child squatted again, reaching towards a well-grown wildgrass.

”Three years... ”

”Hmm?”

As he touched, it felt smooth and hard.

Sha Dragon Child’s fingers trembled, abruptly retracting, eyes fixed on the ground.
