Facing an Ancient God for a Year

Chapter 2816: Chapter 2811: Tilani

Tilani, could that be the true name of that ”mother”?

Once again proving that the more you dig into a conspiracy theory, the more you find. At that moment, Fu Qian even integrated it with his past experiences.

Indeed, there is a significant issue of timing here. The appearance of the Red Moon came much later than Annalise, with even a First Generation Dark Moon in between. It’s hard to say how they would intersect.

But it was always about making bold assumptions and verifying them cautiously.

Once you consider this scenario, some specific little details seem to subtly offer explanations.

For example, the most significant point: why is the Red Moon red? Blood-like red.

Also, as the progenitor of the Blood Clan, Annalise notably preferred red eyes. According to the Bloodline Clan, His symbol is still the normal white moon.

Isn’t this a bit inverted?

However you interpret the symbol of the Red Moon, it seems more fitting on the progenitor of the Bloodline Clan.

Could this misalignment of appearances be brought about by this phrase?

Because ”Tilani is Annalise”, the former not only became bound to the moon but also turned into a Scarlet Moon.

And because Annalise is the reincarnation of the Moon God, on the surface, he tried to align with the latter.

Moreover, there’s another question—how did the Red Moon know Annalise was eagerly awaiting the Long Night?

According to what was previously mentioned, there was even a generational gap between two Superior Beings, so how did He know such detailed matters about Annalise?

Even when almost driven insane, he remembered it firmly and shared it as important information with himself.

Whether or not there was a connection between Him and Annalise, it looked strange, but without a connection, some points also seemed hard to explain.

For Fu Qian, this was a paradox he had long been curious about.

Now, the scales seemed to be tilting to one side—

Everything stemmed from this one phrase that connected the two names.

So much so that years after Annalise’s fall, Tilani suffered the misfortunes of unwarranted disaster, bound by the concept of the Scarlet Moon, forcibly molded into a sphere.

As for why it happened years later? Because the Long Night came, causing everything to be in turmoil.

Then it’s easy to understand why people went mad. Was it Annalise or Tilani? Facing the forcibly emerged self isn’t easy to digest.

Of course, it’s not without benefits, as this peculiar mental state allowed the Red Moon to successfully receive some ancient secrets, which he then shared with himself.

One can only say that under bold assumptions, many things turned unexpectedly seamless.

Of course, after the scales tilted, an unavoidable question emerged—why?

If this phrase was Annalise’s doing, why did He do it?

...

As a proud Superior Being, it’s impossible not to know the significance of such words.

Yet Annalise seemed to leave such content in a note; what was the motive?

Was it a mistake?

There’s still the simplest guess that aligns with what’s been previously proven, Annalise’s curiosity about the First Generation Moon.

Namely, she truly believed that was the name of the First Generation Moon, thereby validating it in this manner.

As for how it passed the Truth Note’s verification?

It’s straightforward; the essence of the Truth Note is ”lie,” as the warehouse previously stated.

Perhaps we can’t yet fully understand the meaning of this description, but since it is a lie, letting some incorrect things pass verification does seem natural?

As for other interpretations, they might be darker.

For instance, the note was not a usual error but was intentionally induced to pass verification, perhaps even driven by the First Generation Moon.

The task summary clearly stated that Annalise truly found what she wanted in God’s First Dream.

Therefore, it’s hard to exclude the traces of the First Generation Moon from that Truth Note.

Could this all be arranged by that being? Misleading Annalise with ulterior motives?

Furthermore, in a darker sense, Annalise might have known it wasn’t the First Generation Moon’s name and didn’t do it for verification.

Instead, he used certain effects of the Truth Note to write it down actively.

All to achieve some unmentionable purpose.

And in that case, the experiences of the Red Moon are undoubtedly even more tragic, purely being manipulated.

Unfortunately, there’s no more content to help confirm which guess is more likely.

With a sigh, Fu Qian carefully examined the substance taken from the box, shook his head, and put it back.

It had already completely rotted together, with no more content available.

The warehouse clearly didn’t allow him to swallow it for Insight.

The only slightly special thing left might be the water stain below.

Black water stain, reminiscent of a certain Sea of Souls.

...

From the sediment of the Sea of Souls.

Besides dreams and lies, how could Fu Qian forget another element?

The task summary clearly defined the ”darkness” inside the asylum people as related to the Sea of Souls.

This is actually crucial information because it implies a connection between the Sea of Souls and the note, thus a link between the Sea of Souls and Annalise.

Whether an outsider or not, even Superior Beings can’t enter the Sea of Souls.

Even agents who have made pacts with Them struggle to interact once inside the Sea of Souls.

For Fu Qian, this was a valuable conclusion drawn from much exploration and testing, not easily dismissed.

Yet here appears to be a counterexample.

Ancient Supreme Annalise seems able to engage in relatively in-depth communication with that place?

Is it mastery over some secret technique or a special constitution from when he was human?

For Fu Qian, this is indeed a major project, like a Judgment Day he always hoped the warehouse could reveal a bit about.

Sadly, besides barely proving a connection, it only leaves a few potential elements to guess at—God’s First Dream, lies, or even the moon.

Luckily, there’s also a minor gain beyond this, regarding Laxik.

Why she was thrown into the asylum is now also speculated upon and could even explain another paradox—

The Truth Note claimed Laxik couldn’t leave the asylum, yet the warehouse clearly indicated she was indeed sent away by Servis.

Why do such situations occur, did something go wrong?

Don’t be rigid; was what was sent away truly Laxik, or might it just be a ”thing” called Laxik?

Is there a potential connection between it and Laxik, similar to Annalise and Tilani?

Servis even mentioned that when they finally decided she was of no use, Laxik was almost ruined when released.

Was her mental state somewhat like the Red Moon’s?

Could the once ordinary human Laxik return to the Sea of Souls after such modifications?

Yes, these operations not only drove the person insane, causing Laxik to become a sort of prepared dish that burst into madness easily on the other side.

Even seemingly in a covert manner, it subtly erased her identity record.

For more convenient control?

Hard to say, but whoever did such a thing employed remarkable methods indeed.

Pa!

In contemplation, Fu Qian casually covered the square box and put it back, then donned the ”Messenger”.
