2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT

2013 Aston Martin Vanquish

Lance said he wanted to buy a car, but then two cars appeared out of nowhere, forcing him to find the apartment property management to rent another parking space.

Lance was quite surprised that Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin just gave him the cars.

However, after talking to the contacts for both brands, Lance finally learned that Ola K?llenius, the future chairman of Mercedes-Benz and current vice president of Mercedes-Benz AMG’s high-performance division, was his fan.

As Aston Martin and the Mercedes-Benz Group are in a partnership, with Mercedes-Benz AMG as the technical collaborator for Aston Martin’s electrical systems, both brands successively announced signing Lance, which immediately sparked a wave of publicity in Europe.

Previously, Mercedes-Benz’s brand spokespersons included the German national team’s rising star, the talented Mario G?tze, and national team player Benedikt H?wedes, who both signed with Mercedes-Benz to become spokespersons for A-Class models.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT department also considered that this sports car brand needed to attract more young people, conveying the models’ pursuit of fashion and sportiness, as well as the brand concept of ”driving passion” on the football field.

At the same time, Lance’s elegant and brilliant playing style on the field also fit Aston Martin’s image quite well.

With Jorge Mendes’s help, Lance signed with both brands simultaneously, which would seem unreasonable if any other young player had signed.

But this person was Lance; he had too many unreasonable wonder goals on the field and won too many unreasonable matches.

As Europe’s ”hottest new talent,” such a high-profile brand signing didn’t seem so strange.

Additionally, the Armani and Coca-Cola signings were about to be finalized, and Lance would be busy during the Bundesliga’s winter break.

Many commercial shoots and business events awaited him.

While other high school students might at most worry about catching up on homework during winter break, Lance was already experiencing the troubles of a working professional.

”Don’t worry, these commercial activities won’t affect your normal vacation and training; I won’t bother you usually either, just focus on playing and training well.” Mendes might be a shrewd businessman, but at least he was relatively good to his players.

After a minor interlude, Lance’s Bundesliga journey continued.

Bundesliga Matchday 12, Bayer Leverkusen vs. Hamburger SV.

Lance originally thought that Bayer Leverkusen, having defeated Manchester United, was already very strong and could easily crush lower-mid-table Bundesliga teams.

The only two remaining opponents in the Bundesliga were Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

However, they started the match against Hamburger SV by falling behind 0-1.

Bayer Leverkusen’s center-back Emir Spahi? made a marking error, allowing Hamburger SV to break through first!

”Hakan ?alhano?lu!!! He surged from deep and unleashed a powerful shot inside the box!”

”Bayer Leverkusen is clearly stunned! They made a serious marking error!”

”After their Champions League experience, it seems their souls were left on the Champions League pitch... Hey! Guys, wake up! This is the Bundesliga, not the Champions League!”

Commentator Mehmet Scholl liked Bayer Leverkusen and liked Lance very much.

When Bayer Leverkusen performed poorly, his sharp and biting commentary style returned, mercilessly mocking Bayer Leverkusen’s defense.

Losing one goal was still acceptable, and Bayer Leverkusen captain Simon Rolfes quickly comforted his teammates.

”It’s okay!! We’ll score another one!”

Indeed, they scored five minutes later.

”Rafael van der Vaart!! This Dutch veteran ended a 15-match goal drought!!”

”Bayer Leverkusen’s defense is in disarray, is this still the Bayer Leverkusen we know?”

”Hakan ?alhano?lu with a brilliant backheel pass, and van der Vaart unleashed a sudden shot from outside the box!”

”Goalkeeper Bernd Leno has picked the ball out of his net for the second time!”

”If they’re in this state, Bayer Leverkusen will likely struggle to get past the upcoming Champions League knockout stage! Let alone try to contend for the title with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund!”

Scholl was frustrated by their performance.

He originally hoped Bayer Leverkusen would go further in the Champions League, hoping that several Bundesliga teams could remain until the end, just like during the Premier League’s golden age when Premier League teams claimed three of the four Champions League semi-final spots!

Unfortunately, Bayer Leverkusen’s players became increasingly listless, as if playing Manchester United had burned them out, and now they completely forgot how to play football.

As a starting forward, Lance was also anxious watching his teammates make continuous errors in the backfield.

They were truly underestimating their opponents!

If the prediction was correct, Hakan ?alhano?lu would be Inter Milan’s midfield maestro, Turkish Footballer of the Year, Serie A’s best midfielder, and a player representing Inter Milan in the Champions League final!

Who would dare underestimate such a player?

Fortunately, Lance had hinted to his teammates in advance, and Rolfes and Lars Bender were willing to trust Lance, implementing tight marking on ?alhano?lu.

In the 39th minute of the first half, they jointly dispossessed Hamburger SV’s key player, ?alhano?lu, and Lars Bender’s long pass found Lance directly in front of the penalty area.

Lance had his back to the goal, and behind him was Johan Djourou, a former Arsenal youth player who was later discarded by Arsène Wenger.

When he used to watch Arsenal matches as a fan, he often felt that Djourou’s nickname ”Swiss Crayon Shin-chan” was very fitting, and his defending was as comical as his eyebrows.

He never thought that one day, he would face him directly on the field.

Djourou’s tall stature and oppressive defensive style made it difficult for Lance to maintain his position.

He simply took a step forward, and the moment he controlled the ball with his chest, an immense force from behind almost knocked him down.

His rage value wasn’t enough to mess around yet, so Lance could only try to create his own opportunities!

Taking advantage of his forward stumble, he temporarily broke free from Djourou’s defensive zone, controlling the ball with his chest before executing an extreme flick and turn!

”What?!”

The football arced to the right, and he flashed past to the left!

His flick over the defender and run around him instantly caused Djourou’s brain CPU to crash.

By the time Djourou turned around, Lance had already burst into the box and decisively fired a low shot!

”Lance!! It’s in!!”

”René Adler didn’t react, that’s a goal!!”

”In adversity, you still have to rely on Lance! Perfect execution, perfect performance!”

”Bayer Leverkusen pulls one back!”

Germany’s second-choice national goalkeeper, René Adler, never imagined Lance could break through Johan Djourou so easily.

He was caught off guard by the shot, watching helplessly as the ball quickly rocketed into the bottom corner!

With Lance’s goal, Bayer Leverkusen finally regained their morale, and their subsequent attacks and defense became much smoother.

As long as they performed normally, the second goal wouldn’t be far off.

Before the end of the first half, in the 43rd minute.

Son Heung-min completed a breakthrough on the left wing!

”Son!!! His sharp run!! It disrupted Hamburger SV’s defense!”

”He cuts inside to try a shot!!”

”René Adler!! A diving save!! A world-class stop!”

Before Manuel Neuer, René Adler was at least Germany’s number one goalkeeper.

Son Heung-min’s shot was blocked, and he hadn’t even had time to feel disappointed.

But then he saw that the ball the goalkeeper parried, the second rebound, had already been alertly seized by Lance!

”Schei?e! (Damn!)”

Adler, lying on the ground, was in despair.

Hamburger SV’s defenders were also in despair, as they frantically rushed towards Lance.

But Lance’s ball control was simply too perfect; with a light touch of his knee, he immediately swung his right foot for a powerful shot!

”Laaaaaance!!”

”A brace!”

”This 16-year-old youth has scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga!!”

”He successfully surpassed Robert Lewandowski’s 9 goals! Temporarily topping the Bundesliga scoring chart!”

In the stands, Borussia Dortmund’s head coach, Jürgen Klopp, happened to be sitting.

Borussia Dortmund was about to face Hamburger SV in Matchday 13 and Bayer Leverkusen in Matchday 15, so he had come to scout his future opponents.

However, he personally witnessed the 16-year-old Lance’s miraculous performance on the field, which was even more exaggerated than in the videos!

”I thought Robert Lewandowski was already invincible, but I didn’t expect this person to be even more formidable than Lewandowski?”

”The Descendant of the Dragon, Lance.”
