Monster Descend: I Can Summon Pets Unlimitedly

Rakshasa is so miserableZhu Qiang immediately shouted excitedly, ”Brother Chen! Are you really going to establish our own faction?”

Ye Chen nodded.

”Oh ho, that’s great! From now on, we can finally be our own masters and won’t have to let anyone bully us anymore!”

Lin Nuoyi asked, ”Ye Chen, what do you plan to do then?”

This idea had been ruminating in Ye Chen’s mind for a long time, and he already had a preliminary plan.

Ye Chen spoke up, ”Our strength is still a bit weak right now, so we’ll stay in the Law Enforcement Alliance first to improve our strength. Moreover, we need to carve out a reputation for ourselves. Is Mad Dog’s reputation quite big in the Law Enforcement Alliance? Ten days from now, we will use that Mad Dog as our stepping stone and take the first step in establishing our name.”

Lin Nuoyi and Yu Nian couldn’t help but be stunned; they couldn’t help but feel that Ye Chen’s idea was a bit crazy.

Kill Mad Dog to make a name for themselves?

Use Mad Dog to start?

Zhu Qiang, however, said, ”Fine, Brother Chen, I support you. I just don’t like that Mad Dog. If we want to establish our own faction, we have to build our reputation first!”

Yu Nian knew that once Ye Chen had made a decision, it couldn’t be changed, so she could only say, ”Fine, then we’ll do as you say. We’ll improve our strength in the Law Enforcement Alliance first, then establish our own faction.”

Ye Chen nodded and gave a grunt of affirmation.

Afterward, he asked, ”How much more EXP do you guys need to reach Rank LV9?”

Lin Nuoyi said, ”Not much, just a thousand EXP. With Little One providing EXP, I reckon we can reach Rank LV9 in about three or four days.”

”I’m short 1100 EXP too.”

The four of them were basically at the same distance from Rank LV9.

Even without going out to hunt monsters, just relying on the EXP provided by Little One.

They could reach Rank LV10 before the decisive battle with Mad Dog.

It must be said, this Little One is truly an existence akin to a cheat.

Thinking of this, Ye Chen looked at Little One.

”Holy crap!”

Zhu Qiang exclaimed in surprise and hurriedly ran to Little One’s side, ”Little One, what are you doing!”

He saw that Little One was holding a paintbrush found from who knows where, drawing all over Piggy Dragon.

The originally pink-and-white Piggy Dragon had now turned multicolored.

Little One looked at Piggy Dragon and giggled, ”I’m putting makeup on Piggy Dragon, hee hee hee!”

Little One looked at the multicolored Piggy Dragon, giggling, and pointed at it, saying, ”Haha, colorful pig.”

Zhu Qiang looked at the multicolored Piggy Dragon and sighed helplessly.

Piggy Dragon, however, didn’t seem to mind, just oinking and snorting there; it looked like it was laughing too.

Yu Nian and Lin Nuoyi couldn’t help but laugh; this Little One really had the Heart-Nature of a child.

Around one in the afternoon, after everyone finished eating, Ye Chen stood up and said, ”Let’s go, it’s time for us to take action.”

Everyone replied and followed along.

Walking out of the residential area, Ye Chen took a look at his gold coins.

Unknowingly, he already had over ten thousand gold coins, and Yu Nian and the others each had a few thousand gold coins as well.

These gold coins weren’t even enough to buy a single piece of rare armor.

Just as they went downstairs, Ye Chen saw a familiar figure.

Rakshasa.

Ye Chen froze in place instantly.

Rakshasa was currently sitting in a wheelchair, with one arm and one leg wrapped in bandages and casts.

His face was bruised and swollen, and his other hand was hanging down.

Seeing this, Ye Chen hurried over, ”Rakshasa, what happened to you?”

Rakshasa looked up at Ye Chen, revealing his signature smile, and laughed, ”It’s nothing, I’m doing great!”

Ye Chen noticed a bloodstain below Rakshasa’s neck on his back and hurriedly pulled up Rakshasa’s clothes.

Yu Nian let out a sharp scream and covered her mouth.

Even Zhu Qiang didn’t dare to look directly; he saw that Rakshasa’s entire back was a bloody mess, covered in shocking whip marks.

Seeing this, Ye Chen was immediately shocked, looking at Rakshasa with flickering eyes.

Rakshasa, however, smiled bitterly, ”If I had known you were here, I wouldn’t have come here to bask in the sun.”

Hearing this, and looking at Rakshasa’s feigned smile.

Ye Chen didn’t know what to say. After holding it in for a long time, Ye Chen said, ”You’ve worked hard.”

These short three words made Rakshasa suddenly put away his smile.

Tears welled up in Rakshasa’s eyes. Rakshasa didn’t speak, just shook his head vigorously.

Ye Chen hurriedly purchased a pile of healing medicine from the System point shop.

”Come on, take this medicine.”

Rakshasa shook his head and pushed the medicine back, smiling bitterly, ”I can’t take this medicine. Deputy Commander Li beat me personally and also issued an order that the medical department is not allowed to treat my injuries, nor am I allowed to take medicine. Otherwise, they’ll beat me again.”

Ye Chen froze in place, his heart trembling uncontrollably, and a surge of anger rose up, ”Why like this? Just to let you suffer in pain? To suffer alive?”

”There’s no help for it. In his eyes, I am just a deserter, a loser. These punishments are all things I deserve.”

Looking at Rakshasa’s forced smile, Ye Chen immediately felt guilty toward Rakshasa.

If it weren’t for him, Rakshasa wouldn’t have suffered this.

Rakshasa looked at the guilt-filled Ye Chen and laughed, ”It’s nothing, we are all brothers! What’s the big deal about a brother getting hurt for a brother! When I encounter danger in the future, I’m still counting on you to stand up for me!”

Hearing Rakshasa say this, Ye Chen laughed immediately.

He knew clearly that Rakshasa was just that kind of person, a very straightforward person.

As long as it was a brother he recognized, he wouldn’t mind risking his life.

Ye Chen firmly kept this debt of gratitude in his heart, and at the same time, he recognized this brother!

Ye Chen hugged Rakshasa and patted his shoulder.

Rakshasa feigned pain, ”Ouch, you patted me and it hurts!”

”I didn’t even use force, okay!”

Seeing Rakshasa whose trick had succeeded, Ye Chen burst into laughter.

The two laughed very loudly.

People nearby looked at the two with strange eyes, as if they were looking at lunatics.

Before, they wanted to kill each other, but now they were chatting and laughing.

It must be said, things between men are really simple.

Loyalty.

Spanning a lifetime.

Rakshasa suddenly said, ”Ye Chen, be careful. That guy Mad Dog has been training desperately lately, having Assassin Demon single-handedly fight the Niez Yuan Corpse Ghost and the Ironclad Tyrannosaurus Rex. It seems like he’s preparing for the duel with you in ten days.”

Ye Chen nodded and said, ”I know. Mad Dog will definitely go all out for this battle. I am also preparing to go out and hunt monsters to raise my Rank.”

Rakshasa nodded, wanting to pat Ye Chen’s shoulder, but realized he couldn’t reach, so he just patted Ye Chen’s arm and said, ”Alright, go ahead. You must defeat that bastard Mad Dog, otherwise, it’ll be embarrassing for me too!”

Ye Chen gave Rakshasa a reassuring look and smiled, ”Rest assured, I will definitely kill that Mad Dog with my own hands!”

”Alright! Go quickly! Waiting for your good news!”

Ye Chen nodded and said, ”Alright, take care of yourself.”

”Mm! Good luck!”

After saying goodbye to Rakshasa, Ye Chen took Yu Nian and the others and walked toward the gate.

Walking out of the Safe Zone, Lin Nuoyi said, ”Ye Chen, a Rank LV19 monster was discovered over at Ruyi Lake. It’s the latest mission, should we go?”

”Go! Let’s go! Ruyi Lake!”
