Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2611: Chapter 2612:

The madness finally subsided.

As Ye Luo’s consciousness was about to awaken, his demonic nature was suppressed once again.

At this moment, Ye Luo’s body lay on the ground, unconscious.

However, his clothes were disheveled and he looked extremely haggard. In the eyes of the Demon Queen, he appeared utterly hideous, irritating to behold.

The Demon Queen clenched and unclenched her fists, her gaze alternating between cold and gentle, clearly struggling fiercely within.

After a long time, she sighed, finally releasing her clenched fist completely.

”Forget it, let’s just say I owed you from a past life!” the Demon Queen said reluctantly, her expression growing complex.

Soon, Ye Luo woke up.

But he felt as if his entire body had fallen apart, the pain was unbearable! Since he started cultivating, he had never felt such weakness in his body. Especially, the copious True Energy within him was now undetectable, which was his deepest worry.

Could it be! His face immediately turned somewhat unsightly.

He immediately started probing his body and quickly understood his physical condition.

It was just a temporary loss of strength! This made him breathe a sigh of relief.

Originally, his body had turned into a battlefield, with the Golden Body and Demon Body clashing. Now, these two forces were still dormant, sparing him from that bone-gnawing pain.

Compared to that soul-penetrating pain, the physical pain at this moment was nothing.

Only now did he have the mind to take stock of his surroundings.

The first thing that caught his eye was a pair of beautiful shoes, like a delicate work of art. Exquisite and expensive, like jade.

But, Ye Luo didn’t understand. He remembered being in the Cave Mansion, so how could there be such precious and exquisite jade-like shoes here?

As he lifted his head, what he saw was even more striking! A woman, her clothes in disarray, her face full of allure - wait, this seems to be the Demon Queen!

Thinking of this, Ye Luo’s eyes widened.

”Demon Queen! What happened to you!”

Saying this, Ye Luo hurriedly turned his head. At this moment, the Demon Queen’s brows were furrowed, looking very weak, and Ye Luo instinctively dared not look any longer.

”Turn around and face me. Don’t you know what you did just now?” the Demon Queen said angrily.

Hearing this, Ye Luo’s heart sank. He had suspected this before but never expected his judgment to be correct.

Originally, the Demon Queen should not have brought this up with Ye Luo. She knew Ye Luo was completely unaware of it. If she pretended nothing happened, no one would ever know.

But she was so displeased that, against her better judgment, she spoke out.

”Well, Demon Queen, I don’t understand what you mean!” Ye Luo promptly replied.

Of course, he understood the current situation. Perhaps the Demon Queen was so angry she let it slip. If she calmed down, she might not bring it up again.

But these words only made the Demon Queen even angrier.

”Don’t understand what it means? Ye Luo, are you still a man? Can’t you admit to what you’ve done?”

Saying that, she grabbed Ye Luo. With his current physical strength akin to that of an ordinary person,

the Demon Queen’s pull sent Ye Luo tumbling, his body falling uncontrollably into the Demon Queen’s embrace.

The Demon Queen was naturally angry, but as Ye Luo collided with her, her body suddenly softened, unable to exert any strength.

The two stared wide-eyed at each other, and the Demon Queen was momentarily stunned.

Even though she was powerful, after all, she was still a woman, and the unclear relations between her and Ye Luo couldn’t easily be explained.

”Get away from me!” the Demon Queen suddenly yelled in anger.

Ye Luo immediately leapt out of her arms, knowing it was unwise to reason with a furious woman.

”Tell me, what are you going to do about this!” The Demon Queen was finally somewhat calm now.

”Don’t worry, I will definitely take responsibility! How about you become my Dao Companion?” Ye Luo quickly said.

On this matter, Ye Luo had some experience. No matter what kind of woman, after being involved with a man, she hopes for a man’s promise. Even if that promise is false, women like it.

”Hmph!” The Demon Queen snorted coldly, her expression somewhat relaxing.

However, she soon looked at Ye Luo with disdain and said, ”Just you, wishing to be my Dao Companion? Cultivate for a few more hundred years. Looking at your body’s current state, I won’t argue with you now, but this won’t just be let go!”

Although her tone was icy, Ye Luo understood that when she spoke like this, the matter could essentially be considered resolved.

What disappointed him slightly was that he had no memory of such a thing happening. Judging from the Demon Queen’s appearance, she seemed to have been quite tormented! He even felt somewhat regretful.

”Bastard, how dare you think more!” The Demon Queen glared at him.

Ye Luo quickly lowered his head. The Demon Queen wasn’t like the Ice Princess, a little girl, not so easy to deceive.

After a moment of silence, Ye Luo finally remembered his own physical condition. While worrying about the Demon Queen, he had forgotten he was still in danger.

If the issues with the Golden Body and Demon Body weren’t resolved, he might end up dead.

It seems, being overly triumphant, he forgot that he was still in peril.

”The fact that you survived proves you’re lucky. However, every now and then, the Golden Body and Demon Body will be activated again, fighting within you – you have to be ready for that,”

The Demon Queen, seeing Ye Luo’s expression, understood his concerns and said, frowning.

Ye Luo was about to ask how long this interval would be when his expression suddenly changed drastically.

Because his body suddenly underwent changes, first flashing with gold light, his strength returning, and then Demonic Qi started to emerge.

Naturally, the two forces began to clash once more.

Ye Luo immediately cursed inwardly, but there was nothing he could do now – these two forces were utterly beyond his control.

The Demon Queen was very anxious on the side; if she continued to infuse Demonic Qi into Ye Luo, it could suppress the Golden Body, returning Ye Luo to his previous state.

However, if the demonic nature took control of Ye Luo’s body again!

Thinking this, her heart pounded wildly.

She gritted her teeth, dismissing the idea, deciding to watch from the sidelines, opting not to continue infusing Demonic Qi into Ye Luo, given she wasn’t certain if there would be any aftereffects.

More importantly, Ye Luo was only suffering some pain at the moment, with no immediate danger to his life, which was the reason the Demon Queen chose not to intervene.
