Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2511: Chapter 2512: Qiong Yao in Peril

Upon hearing these words, Shui Yuebing’s expression changed slightly, but she didn’t pay it any mind!

At this moment, she was already at the brink of fury, so how could she care about anything else.

”Shui Yuehan, if you dare harm Qiong Yao today, then step over my dead body!” she shouted angrily, ”You clearly know, these Twelve Protectors were personally chosen by my sister, yet you move against her, you are blatantly disrespecting my sister’s authority!”

Upon hearing this, Shui Yuehan sneered, ”Stop spouting nonsense here, my sister has been frozen for so many years, she already has no thoughts of her own, how could she have chosen the Twelve Protectors, open your eyes wide and see who’s attacking Qiong Yao!”

The Ice Princess hadn’t had the time to carefully look at who was attacking Qiong Yao, after all, she arrived too hastily and only managed a glance at Qiong Yao to see she wasn’t in mortal danger and was reassured.

Now upon closer inspection, she was suddenly taken aback!

Encircling her were ten or so women, weren’t they the Twelve Protectors? This left her heartbroken, the method of selecting the Twelve Protectors is only known to a few, and the Ice Princess happens to be one of them.

In truth, these Twelve Protectors were indeed personally chosen by Shui Yuexiu, but it’s due to a special mark she created while alive!

When this mark appears on someone, that person becomes one of the Twelve Protectors; this is a secret technique of the Moonwater Tribe, and only candidates for Clan Leader can learn it, its mystery unknown to outsiders.

It doesn’t have much to do with her physical form, even if she were truly reduced to dust, this mark would activate autonomously and select the Twelve Protectors.

However, these Twelve Protectors are somewhat connected to Princess Xiu, but now they openly attack Qiong Yao, they must be following Shui Yuehan’s orders!

Which means these Protectors have already been won over by Shui Yuehan.

This inflamed the Ice Princess even more, as per clan rules, the Twelve Protectors can only obey the orders of the future clan leader, and their lives are tied to the future clan leader!

Take the current situation for instance, if Shui Yuexiu were to disintegrate one day, these Twelve Protectors would also perish, although cruel, this is the clan rule!

But now, the rest of the Protectors are following Shui Yuehan’s orders, this itself is a form of betrayal.

”Have you truly forgotten, you are Princess Xiu’s Protectors, yet now follow others’ orders, do you think the clan rules are merely for show!” the Ice Princess angrily declared.

Of course, while outwardly enraged, she still retained some rationality, knowing that Shui Yuehan, as acting Clan Leader, has been consolidating power over the years, not something the titular princess can contend with, hence she chose to use clan rules to confront her!

Even if she becomes Clan Leader, she would have to follow the clan rules, after all, these are the ancestral rules set in stone, no one may violate them.

Suddenly, the eleven Protectors became somewhat alarmed, aware of these clan rules, which is what they were worried about, however, one, they only knew of this rule after becoming Protectors, and two, they are all geniuses, and now with Princess Xiu seemingly about to fall, who would willingly follow her to death! Besides, since Shui Yuehan holds the position of acting Clan Leader, perhaps there will be a chance for them to survive, which is why they chose to follow her orders.

”My dear sister! You are truly foolish!” Shui Yuehan suddenly laughed loudly.

This puzzled the Ice Princess, this clearly violated clan rules, not only should these Protectors face punishment, but Shui Yuehan should also face consequences!

Not to mention her being acting Clan Leader, even a true Clan Leader who violated clan rules and faced execution cases are not unheard of in the Moonwater Tribe’s history.

Thus, the Ice Princess intended to seize this point, her quick thinking indeed shows her cleverness.

But she was perplexed why Shui Yuehan didn’t show any signs of anxiety, instead showing confidence.

Behind her, the Third Master and several experts looked ready for battle, evidently sensing crisis, but only they seemed to understand the true threat.

”Ahem, Ice Princess, it seems there is one thing you have been unaware of all along!”

The Vice Clan Leader unexpectedly stepped forth from the crowd, though old in age, if younger, possibly could have vied for the Clan Leader position.

But since the selection of the future Clan Leader, his state worsened day by day.

Once exuding authority, now he seemed like a frail old man.

”Vice Clan Leader, what do you mean?” the Ice Princess asked, puzzled, still holding respect for the elder, after all, back in the day, he watched over the three sister’s upraising and favored the Ice Princess the most.

”Ah, Princess Han was long ago selected as a future Clan Leader candidate, actually, these Twelve Protectors are the marks of her selection, you should now understand what’s going on!” he sighed.

”What!” the Ice Princess exclaimed, her eyes ablaze with uncontrolled fury.

”Shui Yuehan, you beast, what did you do, my sister isn’t dead yet, yet you snatched the future Clan Leader position, how could you do this to her?” she shouted angrily.

”My dear sister, my feelings for my sister match yours, even surpass yours; my love for her exceeds yours, only, we must face reality; my sister is gone, forcibly keeping her body is but torment, I’m doing this to avenge my sister’s enemies! You should support me!”

”Bullshit!” the Ice Princess cursed, no longer caring about her image as a princess.

”My sister’s body is still intact, her Divine Soul hasn’t perished; if Ye Luo were here, he might heal her, yet you framed Ye Luo to prevent him from treating her, now covet the Clan Leader position, evidently this was all orchestrated by you, I suspect you are the mastermind behind my sister’s plight!” the Ice Princess accused angrily.

Shui Yuehan’s expression changed immediately; given the presence of so many from the Moonwater Palace, the Ice Princess’s words were quite credible, making Shui Yuehan’s situation rather precarious.

”Do not spout nonsense, someone, escort the Ice Princess to Moonwater Palace, let me punish this traitor first!”

These words were directed at the Twelve Protectors, urging them to quickly seize Qiong Yao.

Yet, the guards surrounded the Ice Princess, but nobody dared strike, after all, the Ice Princess is a princess, with Qingxiu Peak backing her, unless the guards wanted to risk their lives.
