Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2335: Chapter 2336: Opening Up a Pure Land

These days, Ye Luo has not only been entangled with Zi Wei but has been constantly monitoring the changes in the base, as this period is crucial for the base’s upgrade.

Moreover, he felt that the entire Divine Kingdom was trembling slightly.

He was somewhat worried that if the scientists went berserk, turning his Divine Kingdom upside down, he would be left unable to cry over spilled milk.

After all, although the existence of the Divine Kingdom gave Ye Luo endless strength, it was also closely tied to his life.

Therefore, he felt that allowing the Zhongzhou Empire to enter hastily was somewhat rash.

However, he couldn’t just drive those madmen out now because, according to the disciples of the Zi Wei Sect, those major forces had already established footholds in the South Territory.

This time, they did not target Sumeru City, but instead, near Sumeru City, they used Great Magical Power to open up a pure land forcibly!

Since the South Territory had managed to open up Mt. Sumeru back in the day! Then naturally, these forces could also open up a pure land!

Of course, Mt. Sumeru was created over generations by the great powers of the South Territory. Although the inland forces were full of masters, they wouldn’t waste their efforts so extravagantly, just creating a temporary transit station for cultivators to rest; ultimately, they were targeting Mt. Sumeru.

This puzzled Ye Luo. Why did these guys suddenly become interested in Mt. Sumeru? Originally, the South Territory was just an exile borderland for sinners, but now, first the opening of the Spirit Pool, then the appearance of Five Dao Ridges, attracted a large number of masters from the inland and overseas for life-and-death struggles.

However, Ye Luo could understand this. After all, whether it was the essence of the Spirit Pool or the Plane Origin Liquid, they were treasures for restoring life span. It was impossible for those old monsters not to be tempted, let alone cultivators from other regions appearing, not to mention themselves.

But now Mt. Sumeru was really unexpected. Even if they really obtained it, could they move their Sect over?

After all, any place inland would be much better than Mt. Sumeru!

This place is just a cultivation spot opened by those great powers. In terms of Spiritual Power or the Power of Laws, it’s far inferior to the inland or overseas.

But this isn’t what Ye Luo is worried about. He doesn’t feel these forces are coming for him, but he doesn’t think they will spare Ye Luo!

Maybe, after occupying Mt. Sumeru, they will target him first.

Then Ye Luo came to the disciples’ residence in the Zi Wei Sect, noticing the reduced number of disciples, which puzzled him.

After all, disciples are the foundation of the Zi Wei Sect, and those thousands of disciples are his foothold in the South Territory.

”Young Master, you finally came!”

When Ye Luo appeared, the disciples gathered around him, each with red eyes, looking pitiful.

Seeing this situation, Ye Luo understood that something must have gone wrong.

And Zi Wei kept silent about these disciples, of course, he wouldn’t doubt Zi Wei’s loyalty now, for she is already considered Ye Luo’s woman, and Ye Luo felt her inner change, from initial forced submission to now enjoying life, the transformation in between is quite significant.

Ye Luo took a general look, and now the number of disciples was about a third fewer than before, with thousands of disciples disappearing.

These disciples were cultivated by the Zi Wei Sect with great effort, could Zi Wei bear to see them disappear?

”What exactly happened? How did so many disciples disappear?” Ye Luo asked directly.

Hearing this, the disciples’ emotions collapsed even more.

”Young Master, you must stand up for us!” The disciples’ emotions immediately became uncontrollable.

Ye Luo immediately frowned, no matter what, these disciples are in the Sect, how could they suffer any persecution?

Then the disciples briefly explained the situation.

Ye Luo quickly understood what was going on.

It turned out that the Zi Wei Sect indeed had an accident!

Initially, the disciples of Zi Wei Sect who went out for training or missions lost contact, which immediately alerted the high-level of the Zi Wei Sect.

Then, they sent out disciples and Elders to investigate, but unexpectedly those who went out to investigate also disappeared!

Even two Elders mysteriously disappeared!

This is terrifying. Finally, the Zi Wei Sect had to accept this fact, instructing disciples to avoid going out, and Elders not to investigate!

Zi Wei herself once went out to investigate but returned quietly, as for what happened, no one knows.

However, after returning, Zi Wei strictly ordered disciples and Elders without tasks not to leave the Sect!

However, this was not the final outcome.

Soon after, even the disciples within the Sect began to disappear.

For a time, everyone was on edge, forbidding disciples to wander alone in the Sect; at night, dozens of disciples would keep watch together, only sleeping under the protection of Elders.

Therefore, the killing intent Ye Luo felt in the Sect at first was completely correct.

But soon he was puzzled, as the Elders of Zi Wei Sect were quite powerful, although Zi Wei’s strength had decreased, with the Blood Droplet in hand, ordinary experts were no match for her.

So who exactly was behind this? Ye Luo felt Zi Wei might know about this.

And since Ye Luo knew about this matter, he wouldn’t allow any more disciples to be harmed.

These disciples are entrusted with important tasks! Nowadays he’s almost surviving in a crevice, relying on none other than the Zi Wei Sect.

After all, he couldn’t mobilize the Great Tang Empire or forces from other regions. Not to mention whether low-level regional forces could withstand the Sixth Region, just entering the Sixth Region is a huge project, or rather, nearly impossible!

Cross-regional challenges, such large-scale teleportation, Ye Luo couldn’t do it.

”Alright, don’t worry, since I’ve returned, I won’t let any harm come to you!” he said with a smile.

Suddenly, he felt a chill at his back, as if a pair of cold eyes were staring at him invisibly!

He understood this was certainly not an illusion, for at his realm, every feeling does not appear out of nowhere.
